Finally getting to lay my eyes on Carina made every ounce of the worry I’ve been feeling, vanish.
Even in this room full of criminals, she was the only person I saw.
Her hair was a mess and the orange jumpsuit she wore was hideous, but she still looked beautiful.

I noticed the way everyone went silent as I stepped into the visitation hall, but I couldn’t care less.
