     "My queen the castle is being over taken!"  Tommy exclaimed as he entered the throne room.      "Where is the king?" She asked.      "He is fighting of the attackers," Tommy replied hastily, "you need to get Harmony and get out of here."  With that the queen hurriedly ran to her daughter and picked her up and exited through a secret passageway outside the castle.  She looked back to see the rest of the royal pack and her mate fighting off the rogues.  She wanted to join in the fight, but knew that she had to get her daughter to safety.  Tommy was right behind her, making sure that she got away safely with her daughter.       "My queen I will stay back so that way I can thwart any rogues away from you,"  Tommy told her with concern on his face, "be careful."      "You too Tommy," the queen answered back with worry.      "We will come find you when it is safe," Tommy reassured her, "now run."  The queen turn and ran taking cover in the forest before she shifted into her wolf form, and making a make shift carrier for her baby.  Her wolf was pure white and she had beautiful deep blue eyes, making it hard for her to be unseen but she was also fast, faster than any other wolf including her mate.  She ran for what it seemed like hours, Harmony seemed content and sleeeping.  Noticing that she is no longer being followed she turned back into her human form before coming out of the cover of the forest to a human town.  She knew that she needed to rest, but she couldn't rest for long, so she found an abandoned house just on the other side of the town and took refuge.  She took out something to eat for herself and also something to feed Harmony.  After feeding Harmony and herself she soon sleep took over and she rested.      The queen was startled awake when she noticed a scent of rogues.  She quickly picked everything up and hurriedly ran out of the house before they found her and Harmony, and ran to the forest that was right there.  As she entered she noticed that the forest seemed different and she sensed that something was different.  As she was running she took in her surroundings.  The forest looked like a normal forest but different at the same time.  She caught the scent of the rogues they were close behind her and she took a few more steps into the forest.  She quickly hid behind some bushes and covered herself in earth to cover her scent, hoping she could hide from the rogues.      She heard what sounded like hooves against the ground coming up really fast and a big beast hopped over them.  The top half was a man with long brown hair going down his back, hazel eyes and a muscular build armor covering his torso and a shield in his left hand a sword in his right.  Still taking in the creature she noticed that his lower half was a horses body.  Four legs and his hide was dark brown glistening in the sun and his tale was a lighter brown and looked silky to the touch.  She was in awe at the sight, but was also confused.  "What is he?"  She thought to herself.       The rogues were coming up and he took his stance to defend as they came up, "What is your purpose here?"      "We are looking for someone who just ran in here," the leader of the rogues stated with a bored expression.      "I can assure you no one is here now leave as you are not welcome," the creature states coldly.      "What are you going to do about it?"  the rogue sneered.      "If you don't retreat you will soon find out," the creature stated.      "I will leave once I find who I am looking for," the rogue challenged.      The creature didn't like the remark and put the edge of the sword near the rogue, "if you don't leave now you will meet this."      The rogue laughed maliciously, "you think that is going to do anything?"  With that the creature beheaded the rogue that was next to the leader to show that he wasn't one to be messed with, then several rogues started to show themselves in their wolf form.  The queen was worried about the creature who was protecting his territory and she was the reason they were there, but she had Harmony to worry about.  Looking back down at her baby which she was standing over protectively she seen that she was being quiet and sleeping still.  The queen thanked the goddess for this and looked back out at what was about to unfold.  The creature still in fighting stance still held his ground against the rogues.  A couple rogues started to advance forward to attack, but was stopped by the sword beheading both of them in one fail swoop.      "I am not one to be messed with and I will take you all down if need be," the creature now advancing towards the leader to show that he meant business.      The rogue put his hands up in surrender, "okay, okay, but hear this I will be back with reinforcements."      "Is that a threat?" the creature c****d and eyebrow up.      "It is more of a promise, I am coming to get who I am looking for and I know she is here I smelled her scent," the rogue smirked and then ordered his rogues to retreat, him retreating with.  The creature sheathed his sword in its holster and looked around to make sure no one else was around.  The queen held her breath, but then Harmony let out a small cry, which the queen quickly tried to coo her as quietly as she could.      "Show yourself," the creature demanded.  The queen sighed and stepped out of the bush that she was hiding in with her daughter.      "Please, I don't want to cause any harm," she stated as she stepped out.      "You must be who they are looking for," the creature responded bringing his sword back out.      "Please I beg you," the queen whimpered, "I don't want to cause harm."      "No one comes in here," the creature stated.      "I am just trying to escape them," the queen started to explain, "they attacked my family and I escaped with my daughter."      "Why are they after you?" the creature asked.      "They are rogues and they want power," the queen replied.      "Rogues, you all are werewolves?" the creature eyeing her.      "Yes, but unlike them we only want peace with our pack and they want power," the queen replied, "if they find me or my daughter they will kill us to take the throne."       "Where is the rest of your pack?" the creature asks.      "Last I seen they were fighting against the rogues defending our territory," the queen answered with tears forming, "I don't know if any survived."      "Well I can't let you hide here," the creature stated.      "Could you please hide my daughter here and keep her safe?" the queen asked with pleading eyes, "I know this is a lot to ask of you, but I need her to be safe until she can take my place on the throne."      "I don't know," the creature started looking her up and down, "we don't allow outsiders to come into the forest."      "She is just a baby," the queen pleaded, "I only ran in here to escape them I was going to just pass through, but if they find both of us we both will be dead, I can lead them somewhere else away from her."      The centaur seeing that she meant no harm to him agreed to take her baby and take care of her.  The queen placed Harmony in his arms after placing a soft kiss on her forehead.  "Take these they are letters one for her when she turns sixteen, and one for who is taking care of her so they know what to expect and when."      "I will make sure she is safe," the centaur assured her, "and I hope for your sake you stay safe, sorry I can't give you both sanctuary, but considering they stated they were coming back with reinforcements has tied my hands and I can't endanger the rest of my people."      "I understand," the queen gave a soft smile, "her name is Harmony and I thank you for your kindness."  With that the queen left swiftly making her way back out of the forest uncovering her scent so she could lead the rogues away from the forest.  She shifted into her wolf form just before stepping out of the forest.  They were faster and she needed to lead them away from her child and this forest.  She took off as fast as she could rogues quickly following suit.  Yes she was fast but she knew that eventually she will be caught, but she was making sure that she led them away and as far away as possible. The centaurs pov:      I seen several people enter my forest and quickly ran up to them to stop them from taking one step further into my territory.  Making sure no harm comes to my people.  Last time someone came into my forest they decided that they were going to attack us and trap us for experiments and he was not going to have it again.  Finally getting them to retreat out of the forest I looked around to make sure no one else lingered.  All of a sudden I heard a small cry which sounded like a baby.      "Come out," I commanded.  After a few minutes a woman with a baby in her arms comes out of a bush all covered in earth.  She must be who they are looking for, but why?  I thought.  "No one comes here," I state.      "I am sorry," she stated, "I am trying to escape them."  She had a baby with her what do they want with her?      "Why are they after you?"  I ask.  She was forth coming to my questions.      "They are rogues,"  she states, rogues they are werewolves which is dangerous, but doesn't want to harm us or cause trouble I sense and she continues, "they want power."      "You are all werewolves?"  I ask with eyebrows raised.      "Yes, but unlike them we want peace and they want power," she states.      "Where is your pack?"  I ask.      "Last I seen they were fighting against the rogues that attacked our territory," she states, "I don't know if anyone has survived."      "Well I can't let you hide here," I state taking in account that they said they will be back with reinforcements and I can't have danger come into my territory, "they said they would come back with reinforcements."       "Could you hide my baby?"  She asks and I was surprised, "I know this is a lot to ask of you, but I need to keep her safe until she can take my place on the throne."       "I don't know," I stated, "we don't let outsiders in our forest."       "She is just a baby," she pleaded, "I only ran in here to escape them I was going to just pass through, but if they find both of us we both will be dead, I can lead them somewhere else away from here."      After I sensed that she didn't mean harm and that she was only trying to protect her baby, I agreed to keep the baby safe. "I will make sure she is safe," I assured her, "and I hope for your sake you stay safe, sorry I can't give you both sanctuary, but considering they stated they were coming back with reinforcements has tied my hands and I can't endanger the rest of my people."       "I understand," she gave a soft smile, "her name is Harmony and I thank you for your kindness." She gave me two letters along with the baby and told me that one is for her for when she turned sixteen and the other for whomever is to take care of her so they knew what to expect.  I hope that this isn't going to come to bite me in the butt, but I can't let someone kill someone who is still so innocent. end pov.      The centaur heads back to his castle and he knew that his people won't be happy about what he just did, but he was king and his command overrides anybody else.  Even though he wanted to hear what others thought he already gave her his word that her baby would be safe.  He walks up the cobble stone stairs to his castle door and opens it to be greeted by his queen.  "Zarek what do you have there?" Raven asks him.      "A baby," Zarek answers back like duh.      "I see that she is a baby, but where did she come from?" Raven asks.      "There was a little trouble in the forest with some werewolves, but I backed them off when a young woman came out with the baby," Zarek starts explaining to her and Raven was intently listening with a scowl on her face, "they were after her and the baby and I told her I would keep her baby safe and she left."      "We don't let outsiders in our territory," Raven stated with a little anger.      "I know but this one is still innocent," Zarek retorted, "and I would be ashamed if I let this little one get killed because I wouldn't help."      "Well what about the mother," Raven asked a little more calm because she understood.      "I told her we couldn't hide her here," Zarek answered back, "the wolves that were after her said they were going to be back with reinforcements since I wouldn't let them come in and look for her, so she said she would lead them away from here to protect us and her baby."      "I see," Raven sighed,  "but how are we supposed to raise her for she will not be like us?"      "The woman left two letters," Zarek answered bringing out the letters, "one is for us since we will be the one's taking care of her and the other is for her when she turns sixteen."      "What is her name?"  Raven asked taking the baby into her arms to look at her.  As she did she couldn't help, but fall in love she was cute girl and she let out a sigh.      "She said her name is Harmony," Zarek replied smiling at the sight of his queen holding the little baby.      "Harmony," Raven replied softly, "such a wonderful name, but what do the others think?"      "I haven't talked to them yet as this happened fast," Zarek stated, "I was going to call a meeting."      "Okay," Raven replied back cooing at Harmony, "we should do that now."      "Was planning on it," Zarek replied.  Zarek then turned around and and walked out to find Tarmac, his commander in chief.  He walks out to the training grounds thinking that he might be there and sure enough he was.  "Tarmac," Zarek shouts out to get his attention.  Another muscular centaur with long light blonde hair and brown eyes and a muscular build covered in armor, which is common among centaurs as they were warriors, his lower half was a tan color that also glistened in the sun but was sweaty since he was training and his tale was a silky blonde color, turned to his king.  He quickly sheaths his sword on his right side and hangs his shield on his left and comes up to his  king.     "Yes your majesty," he says as he approaches.      "I need to call a meeting with everybody and its important," Zarek commands.      "Yes your majesty," Tarmac replied, "I will have them assembled in two hours."      "That is fine," Zarek replied, "in the throne room."      "Yes your majesty," Tarmac bowed and retreated to start gathering everybody.      Zarek turned to go back into the castle and sees that Raven is still holding the baby playing with her and he smiles.  He then pulls out the envelope that is meant for them and opens it.      To whomever is taking care of my child:                 First off I want to thank you for being so kind as to take her in.  It is much appreciated and I am           sorry to put my troubles on you.  This is to tell you what to expect from raising her.  She is going to           have a lot of energy for she is a werewolf.  She won't be able to shift until she is sixteen or sometimes           it will be after, but it will be painful for her when she first shifts.  Don't worry because after she shifts          for the first time it won't be painful for her.  She will need to train to defend herself in both her human          form and her wolf form to make her stronger.  She is of royal blood in the werewolf line and will take          her place on the throne when the time is right and she finds her mate.  She will know when she finds          her mate for he will be the only one she thinks about and wants to be with.  Her survival is very          important, because if the wrong person takes the thrown it will be dark times not only for us wolves          but for the rest of the world.  Again thank you and may the away in a place to keep it safe along with the letter that is to go to Harmony.  Once that was done him and Raven made their way to the throne room with Harmony still in her arms to get ready for the meeting.  Everybody was gathered already and they made their way to the front.  "Thank you all for coming," Zarek started getting everybody to quiet down, "I know I didn't consult you guys but there wasn't time.  This baby is now under our protection and we will keep her protected for as long as needed.  Her mother is not here for she lead the ones that want to cause her and this child harm away from our territory."  Everybody is starting to quietly murmur some concerns, but he raised his hand to quiet them up again, "I know we don't usually let outsiders in, but in this instance there wasn't any choice and I couldn't let any harm come to a baby whom is innocent."  Zarek was a little hesitant with the next part, but he didn't want any surprises to come his followers, "I will tell you this she is a werewolf, but she won't be able to turn into her werewolf until she is sixteen.  We will train her to be strong and defend herself like we train ourselves."  After all was said he let others speak their mind, but he reassured them that no harm will come to them, but he also showed that there was no room for argument and left it at that.
