Elizabeth I had never felt this afraid in my entire life. So afraid that my breath caught in my throat as my two mates entered the battle ring. I tried to convince myself that this wasn't my fault. That Jameson and Winston were always going to have this fight and that Jameson looking at me before challenging Winston didn't have any relevance. They began to circle each other and at some unspoken signal that I couldn't recognize, they went at each other.
