I gathered my pack armies and we headed out of the pack with Darius as a hostage. Even though he had testified that he had seen Jameson and his men leaving the pack, I still couldn't believe him. Elizabeth has told me to trust me but I couldn't. The life of my pack armies was in my hands and putting my trust in him would only lead to severe punishment and death for us.
Instead, I was comfortable holding him as a hostage as we headed to Jameson's hideout. If Jameson wouldn't know about our mission towards him then everything would be better. We wouldn't have much to do than to kidnap both him and his men again.
