As I stood before the Alphas, a sense of trepidation washed over me. I knew the tension of the situation, and I also knew that not everyone shared my perspective. The vampire had come to our midst, forbidden and unexpectedly. Now, it was my duty to plead with my fellow Alphas, to convince them not to let their anger consume them.
"Will you all please listen to me!!" I implored, my voice steady despite the tension in the air. "We cannot let anger and fear guide our actions.
