A Figure In the Darkness
We don’t get much out of those gang members. I try not to be too frustrated, but the problem is, I’m running out of time. They’re lawyered up already and I have no way of getting through to them. I’m only able to keep them in because of the explosion. I have to find a connection between it and our victim. Other than the address that he had written down. The worst part is, there wasn’t much left of the apartment they blew up, so our forensics team had a really difficult job. I went through the data they gathered, but there isn’t anything useful so far. They’re still looking, but I doubt they’ll find anything intact. And even if they did … I don’t have a solid case here.
