-Laelia- “We’re leaving,” said Ashes. It was the next morning. Liz and her daughter had been incredibly kind, offering us a place to sleep and breakfast. I was hugging Liz goodbye when I dashed to retrieve my sword, which I had left by the couch the night before. As I picked it up, I suddenly found myself in the shadow of a large figure.
