Last Summer

It's Saturday, and I'm a friend's house. She's letting me borrow her phone because mine is currently broken. Funny right? Try living without your phone for a year. It's really fun. Anyways, I log onto Snapchat like I normally do and a notice a Snap from this boy; Xander. I haven't spoken to him in almost a year or so.  So, I click the video he sent and it's of him vaping. It's cool in my eyes, but to my parents, it's just another form of smoking, which they are not wrong on. But still, right? Anyways, we started talking and he starts calling me "Baby girl" and come on... when a guy calls you that, doesn't it mean he wants something?  "Who's that?" Trina asks, and I look at her confused. She points to the phone. "He's kinda cute- you two dating?" I chuckle. Him and I...dating?? I couldn't even picture it. I mean I just stare at the screen and laugh a little. Of course, he didn't like me in that way. I shook my head and smiled. "He's just a friend. I actually haven't spoken to him in a while. Wonder what we should talk about. Yeah?" She smiled at me. I send him a selfie-and he calls me gorgeous. Butterflies were in my stomach. But then my laptop started to ring and I notice it's my guy friend; Noah. I answer it and sees what he wants. Noah just talks about himself and all the wrongs he's done in life. He wanted me to tell him that what he's done is in the past and that's over and down with. But I am not his girlfriend. Just a friend. He wants to be more than friends, but I don't see him in that way. Anyways, he asks if I wanna do something and I hang up. I can't deal with him right now. I swear sometimes he just thinks about himself more than he thinks about others.  I tell Xander I have to go because Trina was leaving. She had to take her phone back. I ask him if he has skype, and he ends up adding me. We talk for hours and we started playing truth or dare. I know, truth or dare? It was weird but funny. He's honest when he's talking and I really like that. But I guess I spoke too soon.
