Chapter 17 - The Calm

Everybody was after Klasy's explanation on the most recent issue about her. Her knees were trembling when she looked around trying to find Theo. Almost all their friends are already there but she couldn't find him still.

"So after all the denial in college, you finally gave in to Pierre." Rowy jokingly said. Adding fuel to the fire doe not hello her. She knows that nothing is going on between her and Pierre. It just so happened that pictures like that were taken last night.

" You were there last night, Rowy, you know I act that way with everyone. I am even hugging it her friends. Can we just stop discussing about it? The company will take care of the rumors." She I'd annoyed.

"Okay. We're used to this kind of news. It was even Paolo last time and..." Rowy's voice was so loud but Klasy was unable to hear the rest when her eyes met Theo's.

HE'S wearing a black leather jacket, a cap and a limited edition designer loafers. He is stunning for crying out loud. Theo was looking straight into her eyes as he walked to their place. His secretary behind him was carrying his baggage and other stuffs.

"You're here. You didn't get caught up in the traffic?" Klasy wanted to hold his hand while asking that question but she suppressed herself. Theo gave her a cold glance.

"No much traffic. How are you feeling? You seem to have a lot to drink yesterday." His voice was ice COLD. Their other friends gave them a weird look.

They haven't told them anything about their relationship, but from the way Paolo is looking at them right now, he seems to have an idea that he doesn't like.

They settled down in the bench while waiting to board the plane. Klasy was trying to figure how to start a conversation again with Theo. She didn't answer his question before.

He ramained silent while checking something on his phone. His secretary who is going with us in Boracay is also busy with his tablet.

"Did you already have breakfast?" Paolo came o ask her.

"No. I'm still full, Pao. Thanks for asking. You can go with Rowy, she's going to buy something for breakfast." He nodded and just let be.

Klasy was sitting close to Theo, staring at him waiting for the man to give him attention. But she is not exactly sure if she really wants to talk now. Those pictures do not mean anything so she really does not want to drag this.

"Are you hungry, Theo?" She asked hoping for him to glance her way.

"Don't mind me. I'm fine. Get something to remedy your hangover." She is not sure Theo is concerned about her or he is being sarcastic because he knew she got drunk again st night.

"I didn't drink much. I'm fine. Regarding the pictures..." She was not able to continue.

"Right now is not the time to talk about it. Let's wait until we get in the plane so others won't hear." His eyes were flaring in fire and she did not want to contest anything that he said.

"Okay." She answered and joined their other friends. They organized this outing to tell their friends that they are in a relationship, she does not want to ruin the moment.

They waited an hour to board, and finally, Klasy can rest her head as they took their seats in the plane. She is sitting next to Theo.

She heard a deep sigh when her head landed on his shoulder. At that moment, SE wants to reconcile with him and just have fun.

"I'm not sorry for anything, Theo." She said boldly. She has been feeling guilty that the news would hurt him, but at the same time she didn't do anything wrong. It's ways the people around trying to pry on her personal life that makes the situation complicated. She refused to apologize on their behalf.

"I'm trying to understand, Klasy. Those pictures spoke volume. And you're here unapologetic for that. Evidences right here, are you just playing? I know I started this, but you were giving me hopes that you also want me." His voice was hoarse trying to lower it so other will not hear. And she loves him so much for that. She loves his calm, his rage, she loves that he knows how to react according to situation.

"You are my first in everything, Theo." P She began. She raised her face to look him in the eyes and smiled to honor a short kiss.

"I wouldn't want what we have now with another man. Pierre is a friend and we have always been a good friend. He knows the boundary between us. My parents are eyeing him yo be theor son-in-law, but we never considered that. That was the case before I even met you, so now, there is really no way I'll consider him a man. He's a friend amd a brother at most. Sometimes, I see him as a cousin too because he's friends with everyone in my family. I am never romantically attracted to him, Theo. Only you made me soft." She said in low tone. She's being careful with her choice of words and Theo was lost in her eyes. He took a deep sigh and carefully pinched her chin to give her a kiss that lasted longer than before.

"I believe you, but it still hurt me knowing you're like that with another guy. Your pants are even considering him as what? You know, Klasy, any relationship can develop into something and I am not saying this just because I am insecure or whatever. In those pictures, everyone can see the way he looks at you. You may not feel anything special towards him, but it's not always the same way. Pierre... did you tell him you have a boyfriend?" She can see the maturity of this man. She as never been in a situation where she has to explain why she is so sweet with another guy, and a little part of her heart is aching. In a short time that she has been with Theo, she feels obsessed with him. She does not want him getting sick, hurt or anything. She wants to see him having fun in life only.

"I will try to distance myself with other guys, not only with Pierre. It has always been platonic, but if you think about it so much then I am willing to adjust. Let's try not to get involved other people in our relationship, Theo. Is that fine?" She asked kissing the tip of his nose that made him close his eyes.

They made each other soft without any doubt. His first smile that day showed. No one ever has stirred his emotions like Klasy did.

"Let's agree to keep other people out of our relationship. It helps to save it from being ruined. You matter to me the most, I will always listen to you first, Klasy. Always." Without shouting, they fixed the issue.

Klasy is also in communication with her management to sort the issue. Since the pictures have been distributed widely in different platforms, it is impossible now to take all of those down. They agreed to release a public statement that she is not dating anyone at the moment.

As soon as they landed, she texted Pierre to apologize, Her phone rang after she sent the message. She was hesitant to take it at first, but she wants to properly apologize to him.

"What for?" His question was direct, Pierre is really an easy to read person. What he shows is what he feels.

"For dragging you in the issue. Picture of us were taken, and you are also trending. Some people are even saying something disgusting about you. Our lawyers are working now to..."

"This is not something to apologize for. You and I are friends, and I understand the situation. It must have been heavier for you, so please at times like this take care of yourself first. I am fine, no need for legal actions if people are saying bad things about me. It will affect your career, let's not drag this further."

There was a silence between them. She took a deep sigh then looked at his friends who are walking towards the van. Theo is with Paolo and they seem to have a deep conversation.

"Thanks, Pierre. I guess we have to distance from each other now even though there's really nothing going on between us. If you were born as my cousin, it will be different. Anyway, for anything you can still reach me, okay?"

"Alright. Let's do that. I'm here always if you need someone. Enjoy your vacation!"

Rowy came to her after her call.

"You are used to this already, aren't you?" Klasy nodded with a sad smile. But it is still tiring. She wants to be a model, but she hates this kind of situations. People should know their boundaries in prying to other people's lives.

They are on their way to a friend's resort in Boracay when Paolo and Rowy started shouting at each other. They fight all the time, but they keep it moderated. It's just funny that it always starts with the little thing, and then they start mentioning reaserch-backed facts to defend their stand.

"Don't talk to me please. Your point is pointless, Pao." She is the first to give up.

"Not my fault you are not capable of understanding such..."

"I said don't talk to me." She said in a warning tone. Theo started to play a music only to get shouted by both of them.

"Stay put." I mouthed to him and he just shrugged his shoulder trying to stop himself from laughing.
