CHAPTER 28 | Libby –––––––– “That’s it!” I call to the tiny blonde riding by on Drama. The little girl finally has some momentum going and she’s finding her rhythm. “Good job!” Bridget nods, mouth set into a determined line. Kid kills me in the best way. I always look forward to their morning lessons—even if I’m tired from being out with the girls from the night before. “Push your heels down and keep your eyes up!” I remind her as she passes me. Bridget nods again, but then her brother—riding the long-suffering Al Capony—swerves into their path. I’d like to say it was an accident, but Brody’s been in a mood ever since he arrived for his lesson and I suspect he’s trying to get a rise out of his twin sister. Not a hugely difficult thing to do, honestly. Both children have pretty serious
