The feeling of want and desire for things that you might actually get has gotten you gripped, it might be because that things has been on your mind eversince or it is just that it is the only thing that you need to complete a missing piece in your life, that's what Gwen learns to people who completely gotten themselves into things that they shouldn't do. Thanks to the book she's reading again. Reading has been her hobby after passing a medical board exam and she actually learns it from a senior that reading helps you a lot to focus on something and only on a thing. It's been a week after meeting Unclee Pierre and been a good experience also since the man really has his good skills on his employees on how to handle them. Pierre sometimes visits the hospital to complete a form before he finally come at ease on everything, he still had to check the fire safety and everything that might be a concern for a huge hospital. Gwen and some of the doctors are having a lunch break inside the cafeteria of the hospital, Abi was at her side sipping her coffee when the woman spoke. "Do you have something to do after work?" Abi asked. "Not really, I was just planning on buying some things to bring once I comeback home to visit my grandparents. Been awhile since the last time I came there." "Then I'll come with you." It was in the mall when the two accidentally met Pierre after the grocery. The old man was so happy to meet the two doctors from the Mirac Hospital but it seems like Uncle Pierre was on rush. "Sir, we'll be going off first. Nice meeting you here," Gwen says before they head off. It was not long before Pierre met his nephew just outside the parking lot of the mall. "Lorenz!" The guy was carrying bags of bags of things as he loaded it all up inside his trunk and that's when he met Uncle Pierre at the back of his car. "Uncle? Why are you here. You were suppose to meet father, aren't you," Lorenz spoke before closing his trunk. "I met Gwen here at the parking lot. She changed a lot I'm telling you, she seems to be good now and... that goes it, she's well." The young man didn't speak, after hearing about Gwen from his Uncle Pierre actually made him so happy. Leaving the country seven years ago wasn't on the plan but it has been decided and coming back to where he has things to fix makes him actually feel so anxious especially after what happened before. Regrets ate Lorenz up, it was something he couldn't live for after what happened between him and Gwen. Realizations struck him up, if only he could turn back time. "She's different now, isn't she?" "Yes, Gwen is a doctor in Mirac." And Lorenz is proud about it. "She finally made it. I know she would reach her dream and I am happy for her," Lorenz says. Pierre was looking at his nephew as if judging his whole existence. "You're happy for what she have reached in her life yet you're here longing for that woman that you never even treated right before things messed up. You're one of an i***t, my nephew," Pierre shrugs it off before going to his car who was just beside Lorenz's. Going home to his villa, Lorenz heaved a deep sigh as he puts the groceries down on the kitchen counter before gulping a glass of water. His mind quickly came to the thought of Gwen, thinking about that woman had him all buzzed up. Staying in Italy for the whole five years wasn't easy after regrets and longing had Lorenz curled into something he can't handle. He regrets leaving Gwen, he regrets everything that he has done to the girl, everything of it. And now that he's back in town and he knows where the girl is working at, it might actually be a good start to act his plan, it might be all of a sudden but that's the last thing he can do, to win the girl back. Gwen was inside her condominium when Camille called, Gwen was so happy to finally have some talk with her best friend and says that Camille would be back in the city next month since she already has some free time from loads and loads of contract. Camille became a famous designer clothes model in USA and she actually owns a botique shop, a nice plan to begin with. "I'm coming back next week. Where do you want to go?" Camille was so excited. "I don't know, it's up to you since you're the one who's been out of the country and you haven't visited any tropical countries yet, it is your choice." "Then, my choice it is." The call ended after, it was great that even after how many years they have been going in a long distance relationship yet they still have that bond from before. Abi even met Camille, the two were good after Gwen introduced them and watching your two friends getting along well just makes Gwen feel like she's in a cloud nine. . The next day, Gwen was having a good time inside her office when a mail came into her office, it was a bouquet of flowers. "I miss you, let's meet soon," was the letter of the flower. Gwen knitted her brows after reading the note, she was confused as to who might actually sent her something like that, it was a very expensive flower and she didn't know who would actually give her that. Gwen decided to display it on her cabinet since she appreciates the effort and gifts too, it was nice to receive something like that but it creeps her out too that who might actually sent some flowers into her office in the middle of lunch time. "Maybe some guys at the other different, remember, Doctor Nick likes you. He could possibly the one who sent that since that guy has a very good taste of pleasing a woman," Abi says. They were currently inside Gwen's office and there weren't really some work to do so the do decided to have some talk about the flowers. "I don't know. Nick is not really that into me and we're just friends. He liked me but that was a very long time already. The note says "I miss you, let's meet soon" and it might actually a person who I haven't seen for a long time," Gwen answers. "Maybe a person from your college, high school, perhaps a childhood friend? You're the only who knows about it– oh wait, mayb me your... ex-boyfriend?" Upon hearing what Abi says, Gwen immediately laughs, "Don't make me laugh, Lorenz would never do that." "You're speaking his name as if you already moved on from him." "And I did, I don't have something on him anymore. We were teens back then, it was a puppy love for sure." "If you say so, Gwen." It was unusualy for her to receive in broad daylight but with this new flowers inside her office, it's not bad at all.
