Rhett Once the truck was unloaded, Jackson and I leaped out. I grunted with pain and almost stumbled over. He slammed the back door shut and went to talk to the driver. I wobbled and worried I’d fall over if I moved too fast. Shocks of pain went up to my hip. Am I going to be stuck like this forever? Sally and Mitch talked nearby, and I could feel Sally staring at me. I tried my hardest to conceal the state of my leg.
