Pepper Cold air slipped over my skin as I walked through the portal door. I hated seeing Rhett upset, but I knew in my gut this couldn’t wait any longer. I’d been waiting for him to wake up, and now that I was certain he was fine, it was time. I stepped into the ocean view room where I’d gotten the necromancy book from. Goosebumps climbed up my arms.
