Taruka's POV

"Ah!!" I held my chest because of shock. I am likely to be startled whenever someone taps or held my hand unnoticely. And they're making fun of me because of it. Where's the logic there right?

I glanced at my back when I heard that someone laughed at me. Does he think it's funny? But it's confusing. I can't see his face because it was too bright.

But I really can't understand why it seems that there's someone controlling my body to smacked his head, real hard. Am I a saddist? "Ru! That's hurt! Are you planning to kill me?" he exaggeretedly shouted. I rolled my eyes with what I heard from him. My brows furrowed.

"Of course not! How can I live without you?" May other self asked, I cringed. Ew! Did I really do that? And who the hell is he? Why am I talking to him, I can't remember I have a man in my life to say that.

"Ow, that sweet. Okay, come here" he said and open his arms for hug. I cringed more. My skin hair stood up when my other self went into his arms and hugged him. They're sweet, but geez! I'm getting goose bumps all over.

"Do you remember what I told you before?" he asked softly nd caressed my head, oh no! It's not my intention to tell that I am the girl. It's my other self not me! Cross my heart until you die! Kidding.

"Hmm?" My other self hmmed. She lifted her head to looked at the man who's hugging her right now, but his face is not clear. It was too bright to see, still. Geez! I'm going crazy!

"That I love you and I will love you even if I die, I will always love you where ever I go" my other self stilled. Her eyes, my eyes turned dull. The hell? What's happening? What is going on?!

"You know, I really don't want you to tell me those words. Just your I love you's enough for me" my other self seconded. My brows furrowed more. Uh, what really is going on? The atmosphere changed. It was so sweet that you'll likely to have a diabetes but suddenly it turns out to be this dull that I wanna run away from here! I can't find myself to breathe. It's too suffocating!

"I'm just telling you to be ready" he said and the next thing I know, I turned frozen, not literally, when his eyes met mine. My eyes. Not my other self but me. His eyes turned cold and dark. I shivered on that. He's scaring me. How can he see me?

"Are you ready?"

I opened my eyes and looked at my left and right. Geez! I caressed my arms because of the coldness. It seems to me that it's real. It happened. What was that?

"Taruka !! Wake up! What are you? Are you unemployed that you're acting like sleeping beauty? FYI, you are not beautiful so get up from there! " I rolled my eyes and heaved a sigh. Weird. Was that a dream? Or a glimpse of a memory. I shrugged and shooked my head as I stood up from my bed and went to my bathroom to do my routines.

I saw my cousin who crossed arms and leaned at the wall. She raised a brow, "Thought, you're not yet done drowning your soul to the toilet. What? It is dead already?" she sarcastically said and rolled her eyes at me.

"Nope. Not yet. I am here right in front of you, why would my soul be dead?" I asked innocently. My innocent question made her looked like she will spit fire on my face. Her face was already damaged, is there anything more to be damage on her face? I want to laugh at what I thought but then I remembered what happened, she transformed into a dragon, not literally, and kicks me out of our condo unit. I experienced really sleeping on the side of the road and I only slept on a cardboard. Geez! When I remember that, my body shivered in cold. I can't believe, I did slept outside. My body hurt a lot because of that.

So when I woke up, people passing by at the side of the road, looked at me, weirded out. So what I did was, I reported what my cousin did to the owner of the condo building, then it came back to her. Justice can really make you feel better. Serves her right. Hahah.

"Oh you're done acting like a fool?" I was brought back to the present and a curse came upon me. Curse incarnate. Ehem. That's just a joke.

"Come on. There is so much more to say. You only want to see my stupid boss" I said and pushed her to walk. She went quiet but before she can open her mouth, I interjected.

"Hep, don't talk. Walk. We're late aren't we?" I asked and I smiled at him cheekily. She grimaced at my smile and hurriedly walked out of my room. My brows furrowed. I looked at the mirror next to me and smiled as before. I cringed. Geez! My smile is so creepy. That's why I quickly left my room.

I took a deep breath and sat down in my chair, in my relatively small office. Haruka Greendel, my cousin. What a nice name, right? But it's a pity, the owner is ugly. I just shook my head and started my work. I really want to tease her because of her face. Even though her face is very smooth and white, I still love to tease her. My cousin is beautiful, she's an example of another model. She is a short tempered woman, that's why I love to tease her.

I looked up when I heard a screech, the door opened. I have my own office even though I am a secretary.

"Ruka, go to the boss's office" said my co-worker. I just nodded at him and smiled. He smiled and left. When he left, I frowned. I remember what happened yesterday. Grrr. I really want to kill him. That jerk of a boss.

"Why did you call me, boss. I still have a lot of work piled on my desk" that's how I greet him. No matter how he will threaten me to fire me out of his company, he can't? Why? Of course because I am the only one who can tolerate his sour personality. Sorry for the word.

He glared at me. Sorry that won't scared the hell out of me. He breathed deeply and seemed to give up on my naughtyness and shameless behavior.

"You can now go, do your work" he said and gestured me to go. That's what I like when I do this. He will no longer order me. But I really have a lot of work piled on my desk. That's a fact.

"That's what I like about working here. All right, boss, I'm going. Just call my curse incarnate cousin of mine to do your orders, okay? Babush!" I laughed leaving his office. Hayys. What a great day, is it?

I knocked on the door next to my office. "Harukalet! My stupid boss calls you!" I shouted and chuckled before I entered my office.

I was just sitting on my chair when there was a loud knock on my door that at any moment, it will easily break because of it's low quality. Kidding. Everything is in high quality in the company. Everything is expensive.

"Taru-taru! You witch!! You're really going to dump me on a job huh ?! Urggg! I'm really going to throw you in tartarus! After all, it's where you come from!" I laughed out loud. Ghad! That was funny. Geez!

I just ignored her and resumed my work. I will fix my jerk of a boss's schedule. I will also roamed around later. It will be embarrassing because he paid me a lot and then I'll just treat him like this. But because I love to tease them both, my cousin and her boyfriend which is my boss, I make fun of them. Both patience and temper are short.

I glanced at my phone. My brows furrowed when it showed up again. The last time that it showed up was last year, and then now. I also don't understand because I didn't remove it from my phone. It's been three years that there are always notifications that just pop out of my phone. It will pop out every October 6th. A reminder, perhaps. Today is the third time and I don't know why.

Even though I knew its contents, I still looked at it. I'm used to it too. Sometimes, someone will just pop out a message, later on I realized it's my daily reminder but I can't remember why did I do this. I shivered when I read it again. It feels nostagic.

Today's his birthday. Let's greet him a happy one, shall we?

Note: Cook his favorite food then we will go to a picnic! I'm so excited!
