Chapter 13

Chapter 13Skylar’s pov

I couldn’t believe Deacon called me Dada. He was so cute. I looked over at Tia and she was in shock. What I did next would define where our relationship went from here. Most guys would freak out and run away. I embraced it. I wanted a family. No scratch that I wanted Deacon as a son, and Tia as my wife one day.

"I would be honored to one day be your dada lil man."

Tia had tears running down her eyes. Did I do something wrong? I mean yes Deacon already had parents, and of course he should know about them. Man did I just mess everything up?

“Tia are you okay?”

She took Deacon out of my arms but didn’t say anything. Man, she must be mad. She laid him down then ran into my arms. I was so confused right now.

“Skylar, I love you.”

She loves me? I couldn’t me any happier than I am right now. This beautiful amazing woman is in love with me. How did I get to be the lucky man that won her heart?

“I love you to so much. You had me worried.”

“About what?”

“I thought I made you mad.”

“No what you said it meant so much to me.”

“I meant what I said. One day Deacon will be my son, and you will be my wife.”

I didn’t care if people thought we were rushing things. She was my future. I knew it the moment I met her. She was the one.

“I would love nothing more than for that to happen someday. I love you Skylar.”

“I love you so much Tia.”

I held her in my arms. She was my future, and nothing will change that. Together we will raise Deacon, and one day have more kids. I was going to do everything in my power to always make her happy. That beautiful face should always have a smile on it.

“Skylar thank you for everything you have done for me and Deacon. I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate it.”

“I just want you both to be happy, healthy, and to have the things you need.”

“Well you have went above and beyond as well as your family. I just wish there was something I could do for you.”

“You already have.”

“How? What do you mean?”

She didn’t get how much she has changed my life. How happy she has made me. She came into my life when I needed her the most. I was so lost and broken until I met her. She has given me everything I needed and didn’t know was possible to have.

“You saved me from myself.”

She looked at me as if she still didn’t get what I was saying. I was messing this up and I didn’t want that. I was truly at a loss for words. I knew what I was feeling but I was having a hard time putting it into words. This was new for me because I was never at a loss for words.

“I don’t get what that means but I know you love me, and you show it by all that you do. I hope you know how much I love you as well.”

I just smiled at her then pulled her into me and kissed her with all the love in my heart. I hoped that answered all her questions and put any doubt she might have out of her mind. I just wanted her to know that I am the happiest that I have ever been.
