Chapter Eight

Bella

"Class settle down" Ms Jonsey our math's teacher yelled, everyone in class groaned and settled down. "Do you think she'll give us another test?" Tiana asked "I don't think so, I know so" Lucy answered rolling her eyes.

"I really don't understand why she tries to give us tests. I mean the entire class copy from each other the entire paper, and I'm the nerd in class" I said

"I was going to give you a teacher assessment but I forgot the papers in the car, so I will be giving you today a free period to complete your work" Ms Jonsey announced in class.

"Well, that's some good news" Tiana said and I nod in agreement. Lucy and Tiana start talking about some new shop making me feel bored. Justin was having a small meeting with the football team for the next game.

I turn my head slowly and face the window. It was snowing. Everything was white making it look like heaven or something. After staring at the snowflakes falling from the sky, I stare at my reflection on the glass window as if it was the first time I look at myself

Do I look so horrible that most of the people I know have to end up leaving me? Am I that ugly? I mean I know that both Tiana and Lucy are beautiful but am I that horrible compared to them?

I sigh and stare again at the snowflakes.

Back before when I was eight and Brandon was six my mum, my dad, Brandon and I would go to the park and enjoy especially when it snowed. I use to wear my favourite long, purple coat matching it with my white hat that had two dolphin eyes. We use to build snowmen with M&M lips. I would always ask my mum and dad how they ended up marrying each other, and how they even met in the first place

And mum would explain her love story as if it was some fairy tale and I would always enjoy hearing it. Brandon would end up sleeping on my dad's lap and mum would take pictures of him. After all the fun we would go home and have a long warm bath. But somehow my cheeks and nose would still be pink and my dad would say that I looked like some sort of cute flower

I would always giggle at his cute comments.

"Bella" someone said making me break out of my thoughts "What?" I ask Tiana and then notice Justin "Oh hey, when did you come?" I ask him "I came almost half an hour ago but you were daydreaming" Justin said smiling and I shake my head

"Hey are you okay?" Lucy asks me and I nod my head "Why're you asking?" I ask her "Nothing, you're just quite. I mean you're the one who always tells us some kind of funny stories to lighten up our mood" Lucy answers making me remember the prank I did on Christopher

"Oh, wait I have something for you guy" I said smiling "What's that?" Justin asks "Well, yesterday Adam and Seth came and asked me to take care of Christopher since he got high fever but of course I disagreed. But then I thought of having a small revenge" I said smirking

"And then......................." and with that, I told them everything.

"YOU DID WHAT?" Lucy, Tiana and Justin yelled at me with a big smile on their faces but still shocked "I can't believe you actually said his pick up lines" Lucy said to me.

"But I can't believe that you actually wore something short and tight without fighting" Tiana said "Hey, there's always a first time for everything" I said "I can't believe that you didn't poison his medicine or something" Justin said

"Hey I'm not that bad" I said crossing my arms "But I know you want to poison in his medicine" Justin said "You know, I never got the idea of poisoning his medicines, but thanks for the idea though" I said smirking "Oh come on" Justin said throwing his hands in the air making Tiana, Lucy and I laugh

"Attention students, today you'll be sent home early due to the bad weather" The speakers on the wall said. Everyone started cheering and jumping like some group of monkeys or something

"Yes, no school for the rest of the day" Lucy said "You do know that starting tomorrow we have a holiday, right?" I tell Lucy "Wait, we have holidays and no one told me" Lucy almost yelled "Who doesn't remember the dates of the holidays?" Tiana ask Lucy

"Guys we really need to go, it started to snow really badly" Justin stated and with that all four of us ran to the car. I sat at the back seat and made myself comfortable while stuffing my ears with the headphone so I can listen to music. I stared outside the window and noticed how the snowflakes looked while dropping one after the other.

I slowly rolled down the window and extended my hand outside so I can feel the cold snowflakes. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. Suddenly a small flashback came to me..............

"How' are your grades?" I ask Chris "They're good" he answered back while kissing my neck making me giggle "You know that tickles" I said holding his hair in my hands. "Mmm he hummed raising his head to look me in the eye

Just looking at him in the eyes make me nervous. I bite the right side of my lips making him groan "Don't do that, I told you many times" he said "Do what?" I ask "Bit your lips" he said moving his head close to mine "Why not?" I ask "Because it drives me crazy" he said and with that, he crashed his lips on mine

Our lips move together in a perfect way, making him moan. His arms circled my waist pulling me closer to him if that was even possible and my hand made its way around his neck pulling his head towards mine. He slowly pulls up and looks me in the eye

"Bella" he whispers "Mmmmmm" I answer softly "I love you" he said smiling "I love you too" I said back. We were about to kiss again when my bedroom door opened, I pushed Chris off me and looked up to find Lucy, Tiana, Seth and Adam

"I knew you guys were having a quickie" Seth said smirking "You know if you guys wanted to have a quickie, I suggest you to lock the door first and to have a better excuse" Adam said making me blush "We didn't even get the time to have a quickie, you idiots barged in the room" Chris said annoyed, making me blush harder and making the others laugh

"I swear, sometimes I have this feeling that I want to kill you" I whispered to Chris angrily "Why are you pissed at me? I was saying the truth we didn't have a quickie, but we could if they didn't barge in" Chris asked innocently making them laugh

"Shut it Chris" I said "Love you too" he said laughing

I open my eyes smiling. I remember that day; it was the best, even though I know that I blushed a lot. I sighed and turned my head to face Lucy, Tiana and Justin.

Justin was driving while wearing his headphones and listening to music, but Lucy and Tiana were fighting about something that I wasn't sure of. I turn my head to face the window again and rest my chin on the window closing my eyes again and feeling the cold snowflakes landing on my eyelashes. I sighed and with that, another flashback came to me

"Hey, do you wanna go on a second date?" Chris asked "What?" I ask confused "Do you wanna go on a second date?" he repeats and I smile "I'm not sure" I joked "I don't' like this answer you know" Chris said smiling and I laugh "I'd love to" I said

"Do you wanna go for a walk?" he asks "Um sure" I answer back "Hey guys, we'll meet you later" Chris announces. Chris and I walked out of the house until we reached the beach holding hands "Can you promise me something?" he asks "What's with all the question?" I ask laughing "Nothing, just answer" he said smiling

"Ya, I can promise you anything" I answer. He sighed and squeezed my hands "You know that I have the bad boy reputation. And I know that I can't be the perfect boyfriend, but I want you to promise me that if we ever fight or if I ever do something wrong you'll always wait for me and not break things with me" he said.

I stopped walked and stood in front of him so we can be face to face "Chris don't ever say that you're a bad boyfriend. And I'm not gonna break up with you if we had a fight or something, besides there can never be a relationship without fights" I said smiling. "I know, it's just I don't wanna lose you" he whispered "You won't" I said giving him a small kiss.

"Do you want to swim?" he ask "No, besides we don't have swimming suits" I said relieved "Or do we" he said smirking and pulling me to a small cottage that's near the beach "Were are we going?" I ask confused. "Didn't you say yes for a second date?" he asked "Ya" I answer "Well that is our second date" he said and pulled me inside the cottage.

"Lucy helped me to pack some clothes and swimming suit for you. Go and change" Chris said passing me a bag pack which was placed on the couch which was inside the cottage. I took the bag and ran to the bedroom to change.

In seconds I was done changing to the bikini that Lucy packed me. I looked at my reflection in the mirror feeling a little uncomfortable because

1. This is a strapless bikini

2. It IS a bikini

I shook my head and wore a short dress which was packed in the bag I walked outside to find Chris wearing his swimming trunk with no shirt "I'm done" I yelled making him turn around to face me. "Why're you wearing the dress?" he asks with an evil smirk "I don't feel comfortable" I said taking a step back "I think you should remove it" he said taking a step forwards

"Chris, if you take another step towards me, I swear I'll kill you" I said. He ran towards me and I ran outside the cottage towards the beach. I was almost near the water but Chris caught my dress making the both of us trip, him first and me on top of him. "You're an i***t" I stated "But I'm your i***t" he said smiling and I smirk the moment I got an idea.

I bent down so my face was centimetres away and right before our lips could touch, I jumped away from him and pushed his body causing him to roll in the sand. I laugh at how funny he looked "That's not funny" he said trying to spit the sand away from his lips "Well it's not nice to pull your girlfriend and make her fall" I said

"And it's not nice to trick your boyfriend and let him eat half of the sand that's in the beach" he said and I laugh "Okay, okay. Let's go swimming" I said and remove my dress. We walk together towards the water and swim for a long time.

I was about to push some water on Chris's face but he put his hands around my waist making me place my hands around his neck "I hope you are enjoying our date to this point" he said smiling "I am" I said placing my lips on his, without hesitation he kissed me back

The kiss was sweet and amazing but yet salty because of the sea water. "I love you" he said placing his forehead on mine "I love you too" I said smiling "Let's go get a shower and change so we can watch the sunset" he said and I nod my head

In fifteen minutes I was done with the shower and dressed in the only clothes that were there in the bag. I really need to talk to Lucy. She knows that I hate crop top, shorts and sandals.

I shook my head and pulled my hair in a messy bun. I walked outside finding Chris wearing shorts with a white shirt and drying his hair with a white towel. "You know it's rude to stare" he said and I roll my eyes. He throws the wet towel on the couch and takes my hand

"Come on" he said. We walked until we found the perfect spot near a palm tree. Chris placed the picnic blanket and sat on it, resting his back on the palm tree "Come here" he said. I sat between his legs, he placed his hands around my waist and I placed my hands on his. We watched the sunset together

"Bella" Chris whispered resting his head on my shoulder "Ya" I answer back "Have you ever wondered what your life's going to be in future?" he asked "No, not really. Why're you asking?" I ask him "Nothing, it's just sometimes I think about how I want my life in future" he said "And how do you want it?" I ask

"I'm not sure, but I'm hundred percent sure that I want you in it" he whispered in my ears and I smile. I turn my head to look at him "And I'm sure that I want you somewhere with me in my future" I said.

He smiled and placed his lips on mine "Always and forever" he whispered to my lips "Always and forever" I agree with him

"Guys we reached" Justin announced. I open my door and notice for the first time the tears that are running down my cheeks, I rub it off before anyone could notice.

We walked inside the house but before Justin could enter "Guys I think I should go, the weather might get worse and I won't be able to drive" Justin said "Okay, I'll see you tomorrow" I said and ran back up to my room, changing in my shorts and tank top and ran back downstairs finding Lucy and Tiana eating pizza.

I join them and we start talking about random stuff while watching the T.V. After a few hours I excuse myself and go back upstairs to my room and settle down on my bed.

I switch on my T.V and lay down on my soft bed while watching a romantic comedy movie but then in the middle of the movie I hear a sound so I put the movie on mute

I waited for a couple of seconds until I heard the same noise again, and that's when I noticed that it's not just any sound.

It's a sound of someone moaning

I walked towards my window to find a drunk Christopher standing with a half-naked girl making out in his bedroom. He kept whispering something in her ears and she kept on laughing and moaning at the same time.

Every time he placed his lips on that girl, it felt like a knife stabbing my heart. I wanted to close the curtains and stop staring but my eyes wouldn't obey me.

The girls started helping Christopher to undress him, making him end up with his boxers. He pushed her away from him and then pushed her towards the bed, crawling on top of her. Both of them were about to undress each other their undergarments, so I closed the curtains, unable to watch this.

After a few seconds, I started hearing the girl moaning louder and louder. I crawled on my bed, hugging my pillow and trying my best not to cry, but of course, that didn't happen because after a few seconds my tears were running down my cheeks.

Why does he have to come back and hurt me?

Why can't he just stay away like he did the past couple of month?

Why did I have to meet him in the first place?

Maybe we did break up two months before, but I still love him.

There I said it.

I STILL LOVE CHRISTOPHER

But he doesn't love you back

That is where my head is right. He doesn't love me anymore.

Back before when I was eleven, my mum would tell me that there is this time where you're heart will be broken and you'll feel like you like you lost your other half. Of course me being eleven, I didn't understand. But right now I know exactly what she meant because that is how I'm feeling right now.

I was caught up with my thoughts that I didn't notice my aunt standing in front of my bed "Bella" she whispered and I looked up at her. Her eyes locked with mine and in her eyes, I saw hurt and pain. "I know everything" she said and that is when I sat up straight

"What do you mean?" I ask confused "I know he broke up with you on the phone call. I know that he called you names. I know that Adam and Seth broke up with Lucy and Tiana. I know that you went yesterday to Christopher's house to treat him and his brother from the fever" she said

"H-How do you know all this?" I ask "I heard the phone call and as for the rest I talked with Lucy and Tiana and they told me what happened with you and the three boys" she said. My eyes started to water again and tears were running down my cheeks

"It hurt so much. I still love him. B....but I can't take it anymore. Can't you hear the moaning?" I asked crying harder. Aunt Carrie came and sat beside me on the bed giving me a hug.

"I know how it feels. But I don't like you giving up. You're a strong girl Bella. You always have been" she said "But I can't be strong now. Christopher somehow broke all the walls that I've been building the past five years, and he didn't need that long, it just took him two days" I explained pulling away from Carrie and laying back down on the bed

"Bella, don't you think that somehow he's hurt just like you, but he doesn't show it" Aunt Carrie said making me laugh

"Aunt Carrie, you don't have to lie to me about anything. He doesn't feel hurt, not even a bit. I think he moved on the moment he ended that phone call with me. Besides if he didn't move on, I don't think he would be sleeping around with girls" I said

"Let me tell you something. It's a small quote that my mom would tell me" she said and I nod my head "Love is pain and life isn't fair" she said and with that she stood up and walked towards the door but right before she leaves, she turns around and look me in the eye "I have a small surprise plan for you next week. But think carefully for what I said to you" she said and left

I rested my head on the pillow and noticed that the moaning stopped. I closed my eyes and drifted to sleep thinking about what Aunt Carrie said
