Chapter Twelve

Bella

BEEP ...... BEEP ...... BEEP

Please tell me that I'm not some kind of a ghost again.

I groan and open my eyes slowly to be met with a very bright light, I close my eyes and open it again so my eyes can adjust with the sun's bright light.

A soft groan escapes my mouth "Someone closes the curtains" I said and groaned again. "Bella, you're awake" I heard someone said.

After sometimes my eyes adjusted with the light and that's when I noticed that I was in another room. It was very big and white, there was nothing but the bed my body was laying on and chairs "Bella, can you hear me?" aunt Carrie asked and slowly turn my gaze towards her own

"Ya, I.....I can hear you" I said softly "Can....can I have water please" I requested softly. I couldn't feel my throat, it was so dry and .......

"Here" Tiana said handing me a glass of water, I nodded and took the water from her and drinking it slowly "The doctor came" Seth announced the moment he entered the room, and behind him followed an old female doctor

"Hello, sweety" she said giving me a small "Hi?" I answer confused and not sure what to say, she laughs and unfolds the paper which was in her hands "Do you know what's your name?" she asks holding up the pen "Bella" I answer simply "What's the last thing that happened to you?" she asked

And then I remembered that I was a ghost or a walking sole, but I don't think that's what she meant "The last thing that happened, was me attached to an electric chair, electricity shocking me and me shooting Collins" I explained and she nodded writing down everything I said

"Good so you don't have any memory loss. I'm going to leave you with your friends and family" she said and giving me a smile before turning around and leaving us.

Everyone stayed quiet, not sure what to say, but the silence broke down when "Bella, how could you do this?" aunt Carrie asked, throwing her hands around me "Why will you sneak outside the house and go meet him?" she asked again with more tears falling

"Aunt Carrie, look at me, I'm fine" I said with a small smile "What do you mean you're fine? You have been in a coma for three weeks, there was no movement nor any respond coming from you. Do you know that I thought that I lost one of my kids? Do you know how I felt?" she asked again and taking me in another hug.

I hugged her back without answering any of her questions "Mom, I want to talk to her as well" I heard Lucy say and a small laugh escape my mouth. Aunt Carrie moved aside and in seconds I was attacked with two strong hugs

"O...okay, I..... I can't... breath" I said choking "Sorry" they both said at the same time. "How're you feeling darling?" Sandra asked "I'm good, thank you" I answered her softly

Then I remembered

"Where's Brandon?" I asked softly "I'm here" he said jumping inside the room and ran towards my bed giving me a hug

"I'm so sorry" he whispered "It's not your fault" I said to him softly "Don't ever blame your self or I won't talk to you again" I said "But I should have taken care of the whole thing" he said softly in my ear

"Why? I think I should be the one taking care of all these things since I'm your older sister" I said "Ya, but I'm the guy" he said softly "Seriously Brandon, don't act sexiest" I said laughing and a small smile appears on his lips

Brandon was about to say something but then the door opened and two police officers came inside "We're sorry to disturb you, but just wanted to inform you that after sometimes we will be taking your report" the police officer said and I nod my head.

After the officer left I turned back my attention to the others, and that's when I noticed Seth, Adam and Chris standing at the corner of the room "Hey" Seth said nervously when he noticed that I was staring at him "Hey" I simply answered him with a small smile

"Bella, we need you to tell us what happened from the beginning before you go and inform the officers" Markus said and I nod my head "Don't miss any point because we did the same thing with Adam, Seth and Christopher" David said and I nod my head.

"Okay so I was going to meet Collins......."

"No start from the beginning. When you woke up" Markus said and I nod my head

"Okay, so I woke up with Lucy and Tiana talking and informing me to get dressed because aunt Carrie has some surprise, so I did and went downstairs to find Lucy, Tiana, Adam, Seth, Chris, aunt Carrie and Sandra" I said and took a deep breath

"Aunt Carrie and Sandra left to do something leaving the six of us and after sometimes the bell rang and aunt Carrie told me that she called the company to fix the kitchen bulbs, so I opened the door"

And I wish I didn't

"When I opened the door, I saw the man wearing the uniform matching it with the hat which was covering his face. The man looked familiar but I didn't say anything, I showed him to the kitchen and told him to fix the bulbs, I was about to turn around and leave when I heard him laugh" I stopped and took a deep breath

"I knew who it was from the laugh, he started talking and I told him if he comes another step towards I'll scream but we both knew that I would never scream or then everyone would have gotten hurt, so he told me to meet him in the old industrial areas, which I did" I said

"That's why you were acting all nervous when you came downstairs" Lucy said to her self and I nod my head

"Anyway, I entered the house through a window and shot four of his men. I was about to shot the fifth one, but I was busted. He started saying some stuff, and I was about to answer him, but I wasn't because apparently his fifth man was behind and knocked me off cold" I said

I paused for some time looking at all there faces "And then?" Markus asked and I continued

"And then when I woke up, I found my self sitting on a chair and both my hands were locked in a metal thing on either side of the armchair, Collins started yelling at me and threatening me saying that he is going to kill me but then I told him that I'l show him and that I'm going to kill him and his last man, he just laughed and shot the last man that I didn't shoot" I paused and continued

"He told me that he didn't need that man anyway since he has another three men, of course, I was confused and then he told me that Adam, Seth and Chris work for him, I told him that I don't believe that they would never do anything like this, he got pissed and then switched on the machine that was next to the chair" I paused again trying my best to stop the feeling that was reaching my toe just remembering what happened

"And.. and then he paused it and called Chris informing him that I was with him after he was done with the call he switched on the electric machine again and at the same time I shot him in the head, so the machine kept on going until, I...I couldn't take it anymore, so I tried my best to shoot the socket which I did after a couple of times and the last thing I heard was police cars and people calling my name" I ended

"You shouldn't have left" Tiana said "Of course I shouldn't. I was supposed to stay in the house until I see him killing you guy one by one right?" I answer with sarcasm.

Everyone in the room stayed silent for a coupe for a couple of minutes "How about we leave Bella with the guys?" Lucy suggested and right before anyone could refuse, she started pushing them outside, closing the door behind her

"We didn't do it, we didn't help him" Adam said softly when the three of them came and sat beside me on the bed. I sighed "I know" I said softly

"Even the break up" Seth added and I looked at him confused "What do you mean?" I asked trying my best to avoid Chris's eyes

"He told us to break up with you and your cousins" Chris whispered but I didn't look at him "He wrote a script for us to read with every breakup. He said he would hurt you if we didn't break up with you guys" Chris said and I could feel his eyes burning holes at the side of my head

"I think I should go" Adam said standing up "Take me with you man" Seth said and with that they both left

Leaving me alone in the room with Chris

The guy that I thought hated me

The guy who said he love me

And the guy that I still love

"I didn't mean anything I said to you on that phone call that happened two months ago" he said softly " He forced me to do it" Chris whispered and continued "He forced me to sleep with girls and leave the bedroom window open so you can hear me" he said with a crack

So that's why his window was always opened

I closed my eyes trying my best not to cry "I miss you" he whispered with a crack in his voice "I miss you so much" he whispered again

I miss you too

"I miss having you in my arms" he said softly

I miss having your arms around me

"I miss your laugh"

I miss your's too

"I miss the times when I get to kiss you and have you as mine"

I miss that too

"And I love you" he said softly "I love you so much, that it hurts seeing you like this and I can't do anything about it. I love you so much that it kills me that I can't do anything about what Collins did to you" he said softly, with tears in his eyes

I closed my eyes again, but it was no use because tears were already falling down my cheeks "I get it that you don't want to talk with me" he said softly "But you have to know that I love you, and that I will never ever forgive myself" he whispered

"You have to know that every time I tried to be mean and rude to you was because of him" Chris paused and few tears ran down his cheeks.

He sighed, stood up and sat beside me. He hesitated before cupping my face, while I tried my best to avoid eye contact "Please look at me" he whispered "Even if your eyes had hate in them towards me, I just want you're blue eyes looking at me" he said, making me raise my eyes and look at him

I knew that my eyes didn't have hate in them.

It never will

He slowly rubbed his thumb on my cheeks, drying off my tears. I closed my eyes enjoying the feeling of his warm fingers on my cheeks, he slowly bent down resting his forehead on mine "I love you" he whispered, he pulled back a little so he can see my full face

"I know that it's impossible for you to love me after what happened" he paused and rubbed of his tears "But I beg you to not hate me" he said with tears running down his cheek just as tears were running down my cheeks. He rested his forehead on mine closing his eyes and I do the same

"I'm nothing without you" he whispered. We stayed like this for a couple of minutes before "Bella" he whispered cupping my face, his warm minty breath fanning my lips causing me to bite my lower lip

Tell him that you love him. Tell him that you don't hate him. Tell him that you want to be with him.

I wanted to tell him all of these things but nothing came out. He slowly stood up, locking eyes with me before turning around and walking towards the door, I wanted to stop him but nothing came out

He slowly placed his hands on the nob and was about to turn it

I can't let him leave

I have to stop him

I have to tell him how I feel and that is

"I love you" I whispered making him freeze, I rubbed off my tears and looked at him. He slowly turns around and locks eyes with me, with every step he took towards me made my heart beat faster

"I love you" he said softly "I love you" I repeated his words, he sat down beside me on the bed "I love you" he said again with a small smile "I love you" I repeat his words again with a small smile as well

We stare at each other before I move closer to him, I bite my lower lip "I missed you too" I said softly. He slowly raises his hands and places them on my cheek, rubbing them softly making me close my eyes, the next thing I knew Chris pulled me towards him for a hug and buried his face in my neck

I hug him back and bury my face in his neck as well.

How much I missed hugging him?

How much I missed his warm breath on my neck?

"Bella" he said softly before moving back a little to look at me, I bite my lower lips softly making his eyes drift to my lips, and I do the same to him

"Bella" he said softly "Can I kiss you?" he asked, I stare at him for a few seconds before placing my own lips on his, he immediately responded without hesitation.

His lips were soft yet the kiss was rough, it was full of passion and hunger. I placed my hands around his neck and he placed his hands on my waist. He asked for entrance and I accepted. The kiss slowed down a little making it soft and sweet. A kiss full of love.

Our tongue dances together slowly, and our lips moved in a perfect way. I slowly moved back to breathe and he does the same thing, we lock eyes and smile at each other, he was about to say something

"OKAY GUYS, WE WANT TO GET INSIDE AND WE'RE PRACTICALLY HEARING YOU DO IT. SO DON'T BE DIRTY AND DO IT IN A BEDROOM, NOT ON A HOSPITAL BED" Adam yelled from outside making me blush and Chris rolls his eyes

Without any other word everyone jumped inside the room "So how's everything?" Seth asked

"Good, until you had to ruin it" Chris said making me blush "So I guess everything is back to normal" Justin asked "Ya, everything's perfect" I answer him with a smile and stare at my hands that are intertwined with Chris under the cover

"The doctor said you can leave today" aunt Carrie said looking much better and I smile

This is my family.

And I would never trade this no matter what

"I'm going to bed" I announce the moment I enter the house "Hey, I was planning on having a sleepover together" Lucy said "Sorry, we'll do it tomorrow" I said and with that, I ran to my bedroom

I place my bags and go to the bathroom.

After a couple of minutes I was done with me shower so I got dressed in a tank top and shorts and with that, I jumped on my bed and of course without forgetting to switch on the T.V

PING

I stretched my hands under the pillow until I reached my phone.

Chris: Hey

I smile and type

Bella: Since when do you start a conversation with hey?

I wait for a couple of minutes

Chris: Even when you're full of bruises you have to be sarcastic

Bella: What can I say? I'm one of a kind

Chris: Ya you are

I stare at the last text he sent and smile.

CLACK.....CLACK.....CLACK

Okay that was not my phone

CLACK..... CLACK

I look around and laugh at the scene in front of me, I run towards the window and open it so I can help Chris who was stuck on the tree standing upside down

"Laughing on someone is not really nice" Chris said cleaning his shirt. I walk towards the bedroom door and lock it

"How're you doing?" he asked worried "I'm fine" I said and went towards my bed laying down "Good" Chris said before I felt his weight beside me on the bed

I rested my head on his chest and he kissed my head "God, how I missed having you like this" he whispered mostly to himself. I raised my head up and looked at him "Chris" I whispered and looks at me "Thanks" I said with a small smile

"Why're you thanking me?" he asked confused "Because you agreed to be friends with Justin" I said softly and he nods "How did you know?" he asks "I have my own ways" I smiled and he groaned "What's wrong?" I ask confused

"I really can't take this any more" he said "What are you..............." I wasn't able to complete my sentence because Chris placed his lips on mine. My hands found it's way up around his neck and his around my waist

"I love you" he whispers "I love you too" I whisper back. I rest my head on his chest and smile "Bella?" he called me softly "Mmmmmm" I answered back "Do you forgive me, for everything I did in the past two months?" he asked softly "Ya" I answered softly

"Are you sure?" he asked nervously, I raised my head and placed a small kiss on his lips

"Absolutely" I answer him with a big smile

And I have the feeling that I won't regret it

But somewhere deep down, I don't think I do forgive him, I don't think life would be as easy as it looks right now, because even now I can't stop imagining, can't stop visualizing a picture to the sounds I kept hearing all the time coming from his bedroom

It's hard

It's hard and I don't know what to do
