I read until I had reached the final page of that small leather bound book, until every location that was left had been engraved into the back of my mind, hoping that the answer to why these treasures even existed were written among the pages but all I could find was a familiar town’s name scribbled down on the very last page like a message for those who have found all seven treasures. I snapped the book shut and tossed it across the room, watching it slid along the carpet and floor until it came to a stop near the bed.
