THE TALE OF THE FOX DEITY

I was born after the death of my father, Arthur who was a fox,he was killed because he fell in love with a human,though my mother is a human I was born as fox with hu man blood running in my vein, that was why I was named "THEO" (A fox and an human ), after my birth the fox midwives came to take me away from my mother because I was a fox,they left with me and left my mother in despair. I grew up trained to fight forest agwi, demonic zombies,I kept hunting wolves and wild fox,I had never had a family care,I thought my mother as terrible for leaving me,when I was 200years being the youngest fox in the temple master called me and appointed me to be in care of motherless fox or fox who has parents as human and that was a great achievement for me, even though I was always called "young master" due to my father position before his death,but to me I was a no different from a slave,I have no family, many other fox have their family to run to every night,I kept this in all my life until I was 600years when things started taking drastic turn in my life. One day,on my hunt for wild fox, I met a human girl,so young, tender and beautiful,she was a great archer,I was sitting under a poplar tree,when she approached me,as expected of every human,she kept on teasing me,she told me I was the most handsome guy she had ever met,and then I thought As young as she was she was alone in the forest,why? I couldn't figure it out and then i asked her why she was alone and she ignored my question but what I heard next was surprising she said she wanted to marry me,I was shocked at her statement apart from the fact that am a fox,she is too young does she really knows what is called love,but then i decide to ask her why she wanted to marry me,and she said because she loves me,I was caught off guard again, cause she knows love itself and I decided to scare her off by telling her that I was fox,and a fox deity but she replied i will love you more her last statement got me pissed off,is really clueless who a fox deity is, even though I don't have the Power yet, fortunately it was that day I gained my powers,I decided to fake the summon of the wind but the powers flew through my fingers,I whistled and the wolves roar,hoping the human girl will wait but eventually,she got scared and ran home, having realized my powers,I discussed this with my master and he told me to keep my powers till I am 1000years,i should grow and train with my powers before I can attain the position of a deity and I should never attract enemies to myself, who want to also attain that position.I got scared of the world as I have no one to tell my fear. After about seven days I decided to visit the poplar tree where I met the human girl to see if I can meet her again my heart was willing to see her again,and fortunately I met her sitting alone looking down the valley,I can feel her loneliness not different from mine,I came closer to her and and tapped her on her shoulder due to her sub-conscious state,she engaged in a combat with me and her swordsmanship was very good,after coming to her normal state,she calmed down and apologize for dogs such a thing,i accepted her apology and asked her why she was alone again and she told me she was forgotten princess because her birth was through harlotry,but I find it hard to believe,why a princess could be here alone and again most princess re spoilt brat they don't even ride horses not to talk of archery,but her's was different as she was a good archer,she asked me about her proposal "now do you want to marry me,will you marry me?",I asked why she wanted to marry me,she said she needs someone to talk to about her fears and I told her that did she remember I was a fox deity and she told me she will be glad to be my soul mate,I was baffled how she knew so much about fox and that the refer to their wife as soulmate,then I asked her why she had to go into archery as a princess and does she loves archery so much and i told her that if she could tell me why I will give her answer and she said that was the best way to kill her father,I asked her why she needs to kill her father, but as usual she didn't answer me,she never wants to talk about it "is that the only reason", I asked again and she said she also have passion for archery and then I decided to test her skills,I told her to shoot the arrow at me while I kept controlling the wind but she was unable to make it touch my cloth not to talk of piercing my skin,I promised to marry her if she could do it but she was unable to I asked her to get out of my sight as she is not worthy of my hand in marriage,but she said"fool I love you that is why I couldn't shoot the arrow at you, can't help hurting you"she signalled to me to threw the apple I was up and I did as I was told,she shoot the arrow and it pierced the apple into four,I was amazed"she is so talented" I thought,she came to sit beside me and sing a playful poem in which I joined her,we played hide and seek and we ran around the tree throughout the day and I was very happy,we departed and promised to meet at that same spot the following day, even though my body was against it my heart solely want to keep her and I promise to take care of her,she was the first to make me feel loved. Immediately I arrived at the temple a guard came to call me that master want to see me and I followed him to my.master chamber,my master told me that a boy was found with my mother and the boy is a fox and the birth of the boy was due to the fact that my father released his fox blood into her womb,and the fox envoy were sent to her to hand over the boy but she refused saying that she was deprived of her first son she will not allow them take away her second son,and the council summon the fox murmurer to make her go crazy and she hallucinated into the agwi where she was eaten up and boy was brought here and since he is my brother,that I will be in the best position to take care of him and train him as he is just 50years,very young so I should take it upon myself to see to his well doing,I as so sober and sad I never got the chance to see my mother before she died and then I got to realize that it wasn't her fault to leave me what could she do at the powers of fox,I went to where the boy was kept,he was crying,I moved closer to him but he elongated his fangs at me,I moved nearer to him since I was used to little fox bites and calm him down,I asked him of his name and he said Arthur,my mother even named him after father,but I decided not to tell him about our connection his too young to understand that,I took him to my room,washed him up,fed him,and I cuddled him to sleep,he slept off on my hand with a gentle sob,I was so angry at myself blaming my mother all this while,I also slept off crying like a baby. Early the next morning the second day,I was still sad I took care of Arthur and took him to his class for the day,he was scared because he saw so many foxes of his age with a more elongated fangs longer than his,I calmed him down and told him they are his friends and I promised to come look on him in the afternoon,and I left for the poplar tree. I got to the tree and sat on the grass, crying angrily at myself,I should have gone to see her when I had the chance,as we fox celebrate annually and we are allowed to see and talk to our parents,share with them how we feel,how much we miss them,how we are being treated,how self I was thinking she had abandoned me,"what could she do?", I shouted,just then the girl arrived and shouted happily "oppa" from afar,she hugged me from behind,due to my mood,u chased her away, calling her a w***e,she left crying and hurt,I couldn't help hiding the pains,I don't want her to get stuck with me and get for any of my mistakes and I left the tree with these thoughts.punished I went to the temple during noon to see Arthur and he was doing fine and he asked of mother and I told him to wait that she will comeback someday but one thing I didn't realize is that deep down Arthur abhors something different,I felt terrible for chasing the girl but I never get to ask her,HER NAME!
