Chapter 15

It's been a month since the impostors in my family already been caught.

Melinda is now already in jail , I want to kill her but I can't afford to stain my hand just for a worthless person , so I just sent her to jail after I starved her to death for two weeks and I made sure that she can't bail out. On the other side her son is in mental hospital instead in jail because atty. Khan made him crazy and show no mercy when he found out that the bastard rape my grandmother.

Now after that I'm a bit in peace , my grandmother slowly recovering from the trauma she had in the hand of my fake mother.

Sa ngayon ay hinahanap ko nalang ang totoo kong magulang , tinutulungan ako nina atty.Khan at Hassan sa bagay na 'yon , si Hassan rin ang nag iimbestiga tungkol dun sa email na natanggap ko bago ako umuwi dito na sinasabi ng taong nagpadala na siya daw ay assistant ng aking ama at hinahanap daw ako nito.

Kaya pina-imbestigahan ko kay Hassan kasi kung totoong hinahanap niya ako ay dapat siya ang mag email sa akin at hindi ang assistant niya , at lalo na siya ang pupunta sa akin at hindi ako.

Sa ngayon unti-unti ng nabalik sa ayos ang negosyo ko buti nalang din at tinutulungan ako ng pinsan ko.

Hassan confirm to me that email came from the Greece , same address written in the letter that been send to my Lolo years ago.

Kaya hindi na ako nag-aksaya ng panahon at agad na nag desisyon na pumunta doon , isasama ko si Hassan at atty.Khan para kung sakali man na magka-aberya.

Iiwan ko sa pinsan ko ang hacienda at si Lola sa pangangalaga niya. Mapagkakatiwalaan ko naman siya.

Kailangan ko muna ayusin ang gusot ng buhay ko ng sa ganun mabigyan ito ng kalinawan at wala na akong maging problema sa hinaharap.

Mahirap kasi na may tao nalang na bigla-bigla nalang susulpot sa buhay ko at bigla nalang manggulo.

I'm on my way now to Greece to find out the truth and as I said Hassan and Atty. Khan is with me.

We are in a private jet owned by Hassan.

I know that these two is rich but I didn't expect that this filthy rich.

Hassan owned a private jet and a chopper and who knows what else , because sometimes I see him riding different expensive cars.

Attorney Khan also a rich but he is secretive , I just can say that he is rich because some of his clients pay tons of money just to have him as an attorney , especially the one that doing illegal stuff. He win their case but little did they know that this manipulative s**t is also taking down their business , he just win the case for his profile.

It's a fourteen hours flight , and since it's a private jet it has a own bedroom where I'm currently resting.

Samantala ang dalawa ay napansin ko na magkasama naglalaro sila ng billiards na naka set up sa gitna ng eroplano pero hindi nagkikibuan , it's like they're having a silent fight but I didn't bother to understand them , boys sometimes has a weird attitude towards each other.

We arrived in Athens , Greece and stay in one of the hotel their which reccomended by Atty.Khan , hes the one will be guiding us here because he seems familiar with the place.

Maybe he's been here because of his job. He's an international lawyer after all.

My so called father is staying in Patras one of places here in Greece and it's a bit far from here , I don't have plan to meet him immediately.

Pagmamasidan namin siya at alamin ang mga galaw niya , nahirapan kasi kaming mag-imbestiga nung nasa pilipinas kami kasi masyadong itong masikreto. Pero ayon sa nakalap namin na impormasyon sa pagsunod rito ay wala itong asawa at anak sa kasalukuyan.

Nang matapos namin iyon ay napag-desisyonan ko na makipagkita na sa aking nagpakilalang ama.

Gaya ng dati I just emailed his assistant , telling him that I'm in Greece for personal matter and I have spare time before going back on the Philippines and we can meet which they agreed right away.

Hassan and Atty.Khan were coming with me but they're just gonna stay outside.

When I came face to face with my father he is teary eyed while looking at my face intently.

I just greeted him formally. Which is like a wake up call for him to stop staring at me and face sideways to wipe his tears.

"I'm sorry you just look like your mother " he apologized "come on sit " he said to me while signaling his hand on one of the sofas in his office inside his house I suppose , well house is understatement to describe , this is a f*****g mansion.

"it's alright , I don't mind " I answered politely

"I know it's a shocking news to you when my assistant emailed you but I've been searching you for decades " he state

"uhm yea' but if you don't mind me asking where is my mother ?" I asked and there I saw how his emotion drop , I can see the longing and sadness in his eyes.

"uhm she already past away , I have a dangerous life and one of my enemies killed her. That happen when you were kidnapped and we're desperate to find you and one of my enemies send her a letter saying that you are in their hands and they will kill you if your mom won't come  and your mom didn't hesitate to meet them and that's when they killed her to get even to me " he naratted and I can see how he tried not to cry.

"I'm sorry to hear that " I apologized

"no it's okay but I'm glad that you are already here . I already found you as I promise to your mom. " he said

"uhm Mr. Vlachos ... actually there is a woman who introduced herself as my mom but turned out she's not and cause a big trouble in my family so I just wanna make sure ... " I hesitated to continue " it's awesome to be your daughter but I just want to make sure and don't repeat the same mistake again ..... can we undergo a DNA test ? " there I said it.

I know Mr.Vlachos is filthy rich just base in this mansion and the expensive cars I saw in garage before I enter but that doesn't mean I will take advantage of it.

Doesn't mean he said I'm his daughter I will automatically believe it just because his rich.

I'm not that greedy.

"uhm yes of course , if you want to " he agreed

"Thank you Mr.Vlachos , I just don't want to repeat the same mistake again " I explained

"is the one introduced herself as your mother named Melinda ?" his question caught my attention.

"yes , why do you know her ?" I asked

"she is the best friend of your mom and we have a thing before I met your mom." he started.

"We decided to end our relationship since it was not healthy anymore and we both agreed , and then I met your mom at the club and since then she got me head over heels on her... " I can see happiness mixed with sadness in his eyes as he recalled the past.

"..later on I found out that Melinda is her best friend , Melinda wishes us a best and strong relationship she even joked that I should not hurt her best friend like what I did to her or else she will killed me .. " he continue

"... and there I thought she is okay with it not until she gone wild when I proposed to your mom and there I realized she still have hang ups on me. I tried to avoid her but your mom pity her because she is just not her bestfriend she is her childhood bestfriend and she treat her like a sister so we tried to understand her but we didn't know that it'll end up like that... " as he naratted , his voice is almost like a whisper.

"... her kidnapping you " he finished and looked at me with mixed emotions.

He called a doctor who will do a lab test for us in his home and I was shocked when I saw the doctor because the doctor is none other than Hassan Ferreira , yes the bodyguard and my I.T expert.

I was surprised but I act normal I don't want Mr.Vlachos sense something suspicious. I guess I just don't know much about my men that I trust.

After the test he told us that it will take a week to process but I can't wait till the results came out because I need to go back in the Philippines already.

Mr.Vlachos assistant assured me that he will inform me if the result come out.

Pagkatapos namin mag usap ay nagpaalam na akong uuwi na , nararamdaman ko na ayaw pa ni Mr.Vlachos akong umalis pero hindi naman niya ako pinigilan.

Nauna akong lumabas kesa kay Hassan at dumiretso sa kotse na nag-aantay sa labas.

Si atty.Khan ang nag drive at nasa backseat ako.

"Pave , imagine my shocked when I found out that  th-" he stopped when I looked at him sharply.

Later on Hassan enter in the passenger seat and I can sense his aloofness.

"hey you motherfuck-" tumikhim ako dahilan ng pagkahinto ni Atty.Khan at napansin ko nanigas si Hassan sa upuan niya.

"I'm sorr-" Hassan tried to say but I cut him off.

"is their anything else that I need to know other than this Hassan ? " I asked in my most serious tone

"n-none " he stutter

"are you sure ? , I don't like surprises Hassan " I said

"yes I'm sure , I'm sorry it won't happen again it's just that doctor is my job before I decide to take another path." he explained

"I know that whatever you're doing to your life is out of my business anymore but I don't wanna wake up someday that you are already stabbing me ... " I stated

"... you know how much I hate traitor Hassan " I said in my deadly voice.

"I'm sorry pave , I didn't tell you ... it's just a last minute decision and I don't want you to be fool especially that Mr.Vlachos is rich and he can tampered results and I don't wanna sit here even though I can do something " he explained facing me , his face is pleading.

"you should at least warned me , not like that you will suddenly appear " I said

" I know it's my fault " guiltiness is showing in his face.

but I choose not respond to him and lay head on the backrest and close my eyes.

I didn't talk to both of them , the while ride is silent until we reach in the hotel where we staying at.

I'm not mad at him I'm mad at myself for overthinking , because I know after that scene my trust issues will rise again.

I don't wanna go around and suspect all of his doings because I know it will hurt him.

That's why I stayed in my hotel room and didn't go out even if Atty.Khan knock on my door.

And that cold treatment reached until it's time for us to back in Philippines.

Hassan only drop us in the airport because he needs to stay to look after the DNA test , I'm glad he's still doing his job after what happened between us.
