After the two women finished their tea and cakes, Aiden arrived. Zandra hugged her son and offered him something to eat.
“No, Mom, I left work to come over here because you said it was urgent. I cancelled a meeting for you, and I get here, and Gabriella is with you. So, what have you two got up your sleeves? What’s so urgent?” Aiden asked with agitation.
“Gabriella has some information you may need to know about your bride,” Zandra said with a hint of sarcasm, showing him the pics.
“How did you get these?” Aiden asked in anger.
“I saw her myself when I went to get my ultrasound, and I was so shocked, I felt you needed to know what she was doing behind your back, just a week after your wedding,” Gabriella said, touching his ear seductively. Aiden shook her off and stood, putting distance between them.
“Things aren’t always as they seem, Gabriella. I’m taking these with me. I’m sure Sasha has a logical explanation for them. I trust my wife,” Aiden said, defending Sasha.
“Open your eyes, Son. She’s clearly having an affair. I told you she just wanted you for your money. She’s a gold digger, just like I said,” Zandra said in frustration.
“Wait, Aiden. I do have a picture you will want to see. Here is a look at your son’s face,” Gabriella said, showing Aiden the ultrasound picture. “You can keep that one. I have a copy for myself,” she told him as she lovingly caressed her fake baby bump. “The tech says he is a big boy and he’s very active,” she added for extra encouragement.
Aiden looked at the picture, which was very clear, being in 4D. He wiped a tear away, seeing the baby’s face. “This is my son?” Aiden asked, emotionally attached to the boy, considering that he was his own son. The coloring of the photo gave the illusion that the baby had red curly hair. However, the colors were not accurate. They came out reddish because they were in uterine. The real father’s hair was curly and black, and likely the baby’s was as well. The father’s nose was big and wide, and Aiden’s nose was big from his Swedish bloodline. The baby’s nose was obviously bigger than average, giving Aiden the idea that the baby resembled him.
“He has your nose, and your hair,” Zandra said, lovingly pointing to the picture and smiling with pride.
“See? It is your son, Aiden. He will be here in four months,” Gabriella said, caressing her “baby” again. “I think we need to give him a name,” Gabriella suggested.
Aiden glanced up at Gabriella and agreed. “Let me clear up this confusion about Sasha, and we will sit down and discuss it soon, okay?” He assured her.
Gabriella came over and hugged Aiden, keeping her fake belly from touching him. “We have had our differences, Aiden, but we are still friends. I am here for you if you need to talk, okay?” She said, pouring on the sweetness heavily as she caressed his beard.
“Gabby, I am married. Don’t touch me like that, it’s not right,” Aiden told her, pulling away from her grasp.
“I am sorry, Dane, I did not mean to make you uncomfortable. But I was sincere when I said I’m here if you need a friend,” Gabriella repeated.
“Thanks, but I am sure Sasha has a perfectly reasonable explanation for these photos. I am going home and discuss it with her now. Thank you for the picture of the baby, though. Take care of yourself, Gabby. Let me know if you need anything,” Aiden said, being friendlier with her now that he felt sure she was carrying his son.
