Gabriella printed off her fake ultrasound and got dressed, happily bopping around the apartment.
“Where are you going in such a good mood?” Rachel asked, seeing that Gabriella had donned her fake baby belly under her dress.
“To show my future mother-in-law her grandchild,” Gabriella said, spritzing herself with cologne.
“And hopefully my ‘baby daddy’ will come over so I can show him,” she added.
“I thought he was married now,” Rachel said, confused.
“He is, but once he falls in love with his son, we will be closer since we share a child together,” Gabriella said, sure of it.
Rachel didn’t say anything, but felt bad for all the people Gabriella was deceiving, and for her child who was being used in this evil game of hers. She looked down and lovingly caressed her son.
“Don’t forget, girl, we have a deal. That baby belongs to me, so don’t go getting attached to him,” Gabriella scolded, holding Rachel’s chin uncomfortably in her grasp.
“I know, I know. I won’t back out,” Rachel nervously assured her.
Tears flowed down Rachel’s cheeks after Gabriella left. “I am so sorry, my son. You do not deserve to be treated as a pawn in that woman’s game. We will get out of here, I don’t know what we will do, but I will save you. I promise,” Rachel told her baby.
Gabriella pulled up to the Lawson mansion, grabbing her purse as the valet took her car to park. She made sure her belly was straight before ringing the doorbell.
The butler took her into the living room where Zandra was having her tea. Zandra stood and happily greeted Gabriella, hugging her.
“To what can i attribute to this pleasure, My Dear?” Zandra asked, ordering tea and cake for her guest.
“Well, I have some interesting pictures to show you. First, let me show you what your daughter in law has been up to. She has been seeing someone at work behind Aiden’s back,” Gabriella purred as she showed the pics to Zandra.
“Oh, my God! How could she do this to him?” Zandra asked angrily, looking through the pictures. “Have you shown Aiden?” Zandra asked.
“No, I didn’t know what to do…I mean, they just got married,” Gabriella said innocently.
“I’m calling him to come over here now, he needs to see these,” Zandra said in mock frustration. She was inwardly rejoicing because maybe now they could be rid of the bride.
“I have some good news, though,” Gabriella said, happily producing the ultrasound picture. “Here is your grandson, Grandma,” Gabriella beamed as she handed over the picture.
Zandra squealed in excitement. “Look at him! He is beautiful! And he looks so big and healthy!” She exclaimed in happiness.
“Oh, he is very healthy,” Gabriella assured her.
“Aiden is on his way, don’t go anywhere,” Zandra told her.
