Aiden walked back to the pack house and found Lewis and Richard side by side, discussing ideas they could use to minimize casualties in New Dawn. Once he approached them, they gave him a reassuring smile. “Are we ready to march, Lewis?”
“We are. We are just waiting for Sasha to give the order,” Lewis answered confidently.
“You will give the order. Sasha will be staying here,” Aiden demanded.
“EXCUSE ME? I WILL BE WHAT?” Sasha shouted as she stormed up to the three men. “Look, Alpha, you can’t force me to stay. If anything, I am more entitled to go than half of the men here. I have earned my place, yet you are making me stay back. Why?”
