Spending the week preparing for the get-together was long but worth it. Today this pack will join together and spend the day only thinking about having fun. I worked with the women to plan something that will hopefully be remembered for years to come. Most of the fun will be inside for safety reasons, but there will be a few games for us all to play inside the school-fenced-in sports complex.
Oliver was willing to let us be outside as long as there was a safe house close by and there was some type of barrier around the area. The school offered the best of both since the large safe house in underneath it. My fear of the unknown has made it hard for me to let the games happen, but my need to see my pack happy also played a role in the decision.
