As soon as Sabrina is far enough away, I shift and throw up a ring of fire around the warriors and the rogues. I've been training for a while at fire barriers but never to this extent. I feel the power surging through me, and I know that the mate bond has strengthened me to the point I'm at right now. The rogues have broken the fence and are now charging at us.
The men get into formation just as we have practiced and prepared for the stampede headed our way. As soon as they reach us, the rogues begin attacking with everything that they've got. Some of them are taking on two or three of our warriors at a time. Growls and shouts are heard as the fight grows in strength.
