CHAPTER FOURTEEN Alexa got out of the car after Stuart parked under the corrugated steel awning she had built to protect her vehicle from the sun. Ironically, her own car had been baking in the sun in the U.S. Marshals parking lot since the beginning of the case. Too much of that treatment and her paint would fade.
