NGOZI AND THE MYSTERIOUS POT

Once upon a time, in Amira village there was a girl named Ngozi. she lived with her father, her mother died while giving birth to her. After her fifth birthday. Ngozi's father Mr John decided to get a nanny,- Ada - for his daughter. four years later, the nanny got pregnant and she lied to John's family that he was responsible for the pregnancy. After nine months, she gave birth to a baby girl named mma. Ada and mma were in their room when Ngozi walked in and said she wanted to play with her sister. Ada gave her permission out of pretence. Three years later, Ada got pregnant and claimed it was Mr. John. Mr John did not reject the children because he needed children and he was capable of taking good care of them. Moreover, his wife was dead. When the child was born he was named Ogadi. Two yearsars later, Mr John decided to travel for a business trip. two weeks after he travelled, Ada started to maltreat Ngozi. she would tell Ngozi to sell fried plantain, beans cake, and pap in the morning and at noon, she would sell fruits. Ngozi also sweeps the compound, fetch water and firewood, cooking of food,and many other house chores were done by Ngozi. Despite the fact that she does the whole chores she receives the smallest amount of food. one day, Ngozi was going to sell her goods and she saw am old man by the roadside. "my daughter, please help me with some food" he said. "Sir, I would love to help you but the food here are for specific customers and there are on demand, but nevertheless, when I will be coming to sell my fruits in the afternoon I will give you alot of fruits". Ngozi said as she walked passed the man . Later that afternoon, when Ngozi was going to sell her fruits she hid some in her baskets. so when she got to the junction where she saw the old man, she brought out the fruits and gave it her. The man was overwhelmed with joy and he blessed her and promised to give her a gift.
