Alex stepped into the office, surprised to see Ethan and Bethany chatting. Bethany spotted him first. Her face lit up. "You finally showed up!" She said, rushing over to hug him. Alex smiled faintly as she pulled away. "Why are you here so early?" Bethany shrugged playfully. "It feels like you've been avoiding me lately, so I came to find you myself." Alex raised a brow. "I wasn't avoiding you." Bethany pouted. "Then why do you keep turning me down every time I ask to meet up?" Alex sighed. "I'm sorry. I've just been busy with... other things. It slipped my mind." Bethany nodded, accepting the answer. "That's why I've come to kidnap you today." She grinned. "And don't worry—I already asked Ethan. He said you don't have much to do today, which means you're free. So let's go out."
