The origin of his lineage;

Joseph was the son of jacob, so he is still a descendant of Abraham. Yusof was the only child most loved by his father, Yakob. Because his brothers felt jelous and envious of Yusof.

Yusof had a special Dream.

At one time Yusuf dreamed that he saw eleven stars, the sun and the moon all prostrating to him, and his dream was conveyed to his father,

" O my father! indeed i have seen eleven stars and the sun and the moon i saw them prostrating to me.

He replied: " O my son! do not tell your dreams to your brothers, for later they will deceive the power, indeed the devil is for people, a real enemy."

Joseph was hated by his brothers.

Jacob's love for Joseph and his brother was actually justified, because Yusuf and Bunyamin were left by his mother named Rahul, because she died while giving birth to Bunyamin. Because of the death of his mother, his father Yaakub loved these two children very much, namely Yusuf and Bunyamin.

Especially after Jacob heard and know about Joseph's dream. The more he loved and the more he watched for the safety of Joseph and his brother. This led to an increase in the hatred and envy of the brothers towards Joseph and his brother.

The plan was to get Joseph thrown out.

One day those who hated and envies Joseph gathered and clashed, to present their respective feelings, for the treatment of his father which they considered unjust to his children. In this deliberation only Bunyamin was not invited, because Bunyamin is the brother of Yusuf. In this deliberation it was decided by them that Yusuf should be expelled. Because his son's insistence of his father was a strong reason, finally allowed by his father as well.

Joseph was thrown into a well

after they had gone with Joseph, they had agreed to put Joseph into the well. their deeds were carried out, but it was God who was just who revealed the secret of their deeds.

after they had carried out their evil intentions, then they returned to their homes, it was evening. they came to his father weeping and saying. O our father, that we have gone to play and left Joseph near our belongings. all of a sudden a wolf came, and he ate Joseph, and may not believe even though we are righteous people.

Joseph was helped by a traveler.

Joseph was in the well alone, covered in darkness and gripping silence. He looked up, down, right to left thinking of how he could lift himself from the bottom of the well, yet he saw nothing that could help him. He only saw the shadow of his body in the deep water beneath his feet. indeed a very heavy test for a young man as young as Joseph who still did not have much experience in life, even the first time he separated from his father who loved and pampered him very much. Even more so, the weight of the test was because the one who threw him to the bottom of the well was his brother, his father's son.

Yusuf as he thought about his own fate and suffering, and how he would save himself from the danger of starvation if he was not helped for a long time, he always remembered his father and how sad he was when he saw his brothers return home without him being with them.

Joseph who was abandoned by his brothers and who had been put into the well heard by him a faint faint voice, a strange voice he had never heard since he was thrown to the bottom of the well. More and more it became clear that the voice was finally heard as a dog barking, the sound of people talking and laughing loudly and the sound of human and animal footprints around the well as they fetched water in the place, stretched out his bucket rope lifted up, hanging Joseph on the rope of the bucket, and lifted up.

after seeing the traveler, then said in surprise: "Oh, how happy we are, to have a handsome child

The story of Yusuf's Life

Joseph who was abandoned by his brothers and who had been put into the well heard by him a faint faint voice, a strange voice he had never heard since he was thrown to the bottom of the well. More and more it became clear that the voice was finally heard as a dog barking, the sound of people talking and laughing loudly and the sound of human and animal footprints around the well as they fetched water in the place, stretched out his bucket rope lifted up, hanging Joseph on the rope of the bucket, and lifted up. after seeing the traveler, then said in surprise: "Oh, how happy we are, to have a handsome child The man was sold to an Egyptian magnate. Because the one who got Yusuf was a merchant, so Yusuf was made his merchandise. Eventually they agreed to be taken to Egypt and sold there as slaves at a price, which according to their estimates, would reach the highest price, because of his good body and handsome level. Then Joseph was offered in public for auction. In the auction it was finally bought by the Egyptian Chief of Police named Fathifar as the first bidder, who felt happy to get a handsome, strong -bodied slave with a face that gave the impression that in the human body purchased from the auction, contained a great soul, a pure heart. and that it is not from the human position that human beings should be traded. Zulaikha loves Yusuf. Yusuf was indeed a brave man and very attractive to those who saw him, especially to women. The daily association under one roof between Yusuf, a young man who is strong and futhifar, a beautiful and beautiful young woman, will not be spared from the effects of immoral acts, if there is no strength of faith and piety that curb the lust of anger bissu. Such was the case of Zulaikha with Yusuf until one day Yusuf was called and expressed his love for Yusuf. But was rejected by Joseph considering how it had been cared for, fed, drunk and clothed. Feeling scared and embarrassed. But Zulaikha forced him until Yusuf ran away. Zulaikha chased after him and held his shirt back until it was torn and torn. Exactly the moment they were behind the door pulling the pull, Futhifar came to see them in that suspicious state. Without giving Yusuf a chance to open his mouth, Zulaikha quickly said to her husband who was still standing stunned looking at the two believers: "This is Yusuf, the servant whom you adore and praise has dared to rudely enter my bedroom and force me to fulfill his lust. " Yusuf heard Zulaikha's reports and allegations of palsy to her husband, unable to do anything but testify to what really happened. He said to Futhifar, his employer: "Indeed he was the one who seduced me, called me to his room, then forced me to satisfy his lust. I refused his offer and pulled my shirt from behind until it was torn." After Kitfir came, it was preceded by Zulaikha. The news was concealed to cover up the horn of the household, a magnate, but was also known to the general public until the situation became crowded. So Zulaikha was able to show Yusuf in front of the women, meaning that they would look at him. Zulaikha invited the wives of other Egyptian dignitaries. More and more Egyptians are talking about Zulaikha as the wife of a nobleman who loves his adopted children. To put an end to the rumors of the wives of the nobles, Zulaikha invited them to a banquet at his house, with the intention of making a surprise, showing them Yusuf who had captivated her, making her forget her relatives and her position as the wife of the Army Chief. At the banquet, the guests were given soft seats and the banquet served was not ordinary food, but fruit and each was given a sharp knife. When they peeled the fruit, he told Yusuf to go out and cross the woman. When Yusuf passed in front of the woman, how surprised they were to see Yusuf's attractive face and said: "Masya Allah, perhaps this angel is not a human." Fascinated by Yusuf's handsomeness, they forgot that they were holding the sharp knife, unknowingly they sliced his finger until it was wounded. Only after Joseph left did they feel that his hand had been wounded. It was then that Zulaikha said: "This is the person who caused you to humiliate me because I loved him, indeed I loved him but he refused." Joseph prayed to be imprisoned. Pray for Yusuf to ask Allah, to give him the determination of Faith and determination so that he will not be lost by the temptations of Satan and the tricks of women who will plunge him into the valley of disobedience and evil deeds. Zulaikha still loved Yusuf, then Yusuf surrendered to Allah while praying. "Joseph said:" O my Lord! I prefer that prison to what they invite me to it. " Joseph's prayer was answered by God and Joseph went to prison. So at the request and will of the King. For the sake of maintaining the honor of the King's household, let Joseph alone be reproached by the people, even though Joseph is innocent. So order that Joseph be put in prison. Along with Joseph, two of the king's servants eating and drinking were put in prison. In prison Joseph always did good to the people who were in prison. even more so because he is given a lot of knowledge by Allah and is also good at interpreting dreams. Each delegated is of course appropriate. In that prison Joseph always called people to worship God. Joseph was 30 years old at the time. And long in prison, long in 7 years in prison. While in prison, Yusuf always showed the height of his kindness to his fellow prisoners. Joseph had two close friends while in prison. One day one of them said to Yusuf: "I dreamed as if I were holding bread on my head. Suddenly the bread was eaten by a bird, try to tell me, O Yusuf, about his takwil. Indeed, I see that you are a kind person." Before explaining the takwil of the two young men. Joseph used his opportunity to preach to the people. He said: "I am a Messenger. I will give a narration of the dreams of these two young men. Based on what has been revealed to me, and not just using the help of Satan who is an enemy of God and not necessarily true." Then Yusuf explained the interpretation of the dream of these two young men according to what God had revealed to him Takwil of the first young man's dream, was that he immediately got out of prison and returned to work as before entering prison, that is, the king's gardener. The second parable of the young man is that he will be crucified, and his carcass will be eaten by birds. " This takwil described by Yusuf turned out to be true, and Yusuf remained in prison for many years. Finally, Joseph was released from prison The king of Egypt had a miraculous dream. at one time the king of Egypt had a dream. "And the king said," I saw in a dream that seven fat cows were eaten by seven lean cows, and I saw seven green stalks and the rest were dry. Hi officer officer! Give me a fatwa about this dream of mine, if indeed you can takbirkan dream. " "They said:" It is a chaotic dream and we are not the people who know the interpretation of the dream. " "And said one of the released from prison, after he remembered after a time: I will tell you his takwil, therefore, send me to get Joseph in prison." The king was very glad to hear the opinion of his gardener, Then he sent his gardener to Joseph in prison. After the King's gardener, who had been with Joseph in prison, explained that Joseph was good at interpreting dreams, he was sent by the king to meet Joseph in prison. when he arrived in prison he was told about the king's dream and asked that Joseph be able to interpret the king's dream. Then Joseph gave a description of the king's dream which means: "He said:" You will plant seven years in full swing, then what you harvest you shall leave on its stalk except a little of what you eat. Then will come after that, seven years of hardship that will consume what you provide for it, except a little of what you save. And it shall come to pass after that, that it shall be rained upon a year by men, and they shall be wroth with him. " after the king was informed about the takwil of his dream, the king admitted that the takwil was indeed very effective. Then the king ordered that Joseph be brought before him, in the simple hope that he might have another point of view useful for common safety. Joseph calmly answered the king's call, and Joseph came out of prison. Joseph managed to interpret the dream of the King of Egypt. Named Kitfir and Yusuf were released from prison, then given the position of treasurer. All the affairs of the national treasury were left to Joseph to arrange. This can be done well by Joseph. That is how God put Joseph in his rightful place, after years of languishing in prison. After seven years of Joseph's tenure, his people became united and his country prospered. Seven years is enough to gather economic strength in Egypt to face seven years of scorching heat and drought. The dry season is here. After the drought season for 7 years, then came the dry season, whatever was planted did not grow, while the people's food supply had run out. This has hit several countries. Fortunately, the land of Egypt, which was then ruled by Joseph and Joseph knew in advance, that there would be a drought, so that the Egyptian government at that time had a large food storehouse, full of food supplies to face the great drought. The time of famine and drought not only befell the State of Egypt, but also befell other states, which were close to Egypt as far as Canaan, the land occupied by Jacob and his son named Asbaath. His people living around neighboring Egypt also asked for help to Egypt, including Jacob's family. Joseph's brother asked for help. one day ten men came asking for help getting their much -needed staple food. As a strong man, Yusuf did not forget them and Yusuf welcomed them. They were welcome to sit in the designated place, because Joseph wanted to hear important news from them. Then Joseph ordered his men to give enough food to those who came from Canaan. Then they set off back to his country feeling relieved and happy. When they arrived in his country he immediately met his father, recounting his experiences while in Egypt. And they submitted that the king wished to meet another brother. Joseph met Benjamin. When Joseph's brothers came from Egypt to get grain, they excitedly told him about the situation in Egypt and begged that his brother, Benjamin, be allowed by his father to be taken to Egypt. Jacob began to disapprove, for he remembered the events that Joseph had experienced. But they kept urging his father on strong reasons to convince his father. And finally Jacob allowed Benjamin to join him on his journey to Egypt as the first time. After they came immediately confronted. Yusuf saw his brother participating, he was happy. They were told to sit with the king to be treated well. by treating this kind -hearted king. Bunyamin cried with emotion and remembered his brother named Yusuf. With tears in his eyes, Benjamin said, "If Joseph were still alive, he would be the one sitting next to me." After they had met the king long enough, they returned home with enough supplies and more than before.ey Bunyamin was arrested by Yusuf. It had been planned from the beginning that Yusuf wanted Bunyamin not to go home with his other brothers. the other brothers did not yet know that the king was their brother. Joseph was once thrown into a well. But Bunyamin knew because the king whispered, that he was his brother. While giving the supplies and foodstuffs, Yusuf ordered his subordinates, to put in the goods secretly a scales belonging to the country and put in the place brought by Bunyamin. As soon as they left the City of Egypt, they were suddenly detained for inspection of the goods they were carrying. In this inspection, it turned out that there was a national scale that was being searched. Because of this, they were detained and could not return to the state of Canaan to be investigated With this event, they were anxious and very upset, as they said to Yusuf: "My Lord, our father is very old, he is over 80 years old and we cannot part because we always take care of his safety. We are not thieves. Allow us. bring our father as a witness of our righteousness, for we are of the seed of good people. Or let us go home first and take one of our brethren to take his place and we believe that my lord is a good man. " "Joseph said: I seek refuge in Allah and I will not punish the innocent, if so, we would be the wrongdoers." When they had given up on this then they whispered and said the oldest of them, Yahuza: Once I will not go back, until I get permission from my father. Come back all of you! And tell dad about this event. Once they returned and continued to meet their father, and told this incident to his father. Then Jacob turned away from them, and said in his heart: "How sad I am to remember Yusuf, who was short -sighted because of that grief. Yaakub's anger towards his children was held only in his heart. Seeing this, they said to his father, "Father, do not always remember Joseph, lest you get sick and die." Jacob said: "I only complain of my grief to God, and I know from God what you know." They then asked permission to go back to Egypt to the king to beg the king so that his detained brother could be released. When they approached King Joseph, at that moment Joseph thought, that it was time to unveil his secret, to inform his brothers, that he was Joseph, so that they might acknowledge the truth and error they had committed. Joseph told what they had done when they were little, all that happened was told by Joseph. Hearing the story, they began to be stunned, questions arose in their hearts. From whom did this magnate know of the event. Is it from Bunyamin? while Bunyamin at that time did not participate and also did not know anything about the event, and no human being knew. Then they noticed the king's movements, and noticed his body and condition, compared to Joseph's body when he was a child, finally they were convinced that the characteristic features found in this magnificent body, were indeed the same as Joseph's. They asked, "Is this your master Joseph?" Immediately Joseph replied: "Yes, I am Joseph, and this is my brother Benjamin. God has brought us together, for God will not waste the reward of the pious." They said: "By Allah, He has indeed preferred thee above us, and we are indeed sinners." Joseph said to them: "I will not do anything against you. God has forgiven all your sins, God is Forgiving and Merciful." They were allowed to return to Canaan to see his father. Joseph met his father. When Joseph's brothers came to his house, they went to their father, and they brought him a garment. When they presented the shirt to his father, immediately Jacob's eyes opened and he could see the light. Even though at that time he was short -sighted and could not see. They related all the events to his father, where they had met the noble king, and also explained that they all went back to Egypt, to meet and be able to live with Joseph. Hearing the story, Yusuf was very happy when he said: What has happened, let us forget, and we ask God's forgiveness may God forgive all your sins, as well as my own sins, because God is forgiving and merciful. Let us go to Egypt together. When Joseph saw his father coming and was surrounded by his eleven brothers, they bowed down before him, and Joseph stood respectfully. At that moment, Joseph raised both his hands to heaven, he was thankful for God's favor and grace. "O my lord! Indeed you have given me the kingdom and you have taught me the interpretation of dreams, O Lord who made the heavens and the earth! You are my guardian in this world and the hereafter, accept me as a Muslim and my relationship with the righteous." Such was the story of Joseph that began with the relentless suffering he endured with perseverance and patience, but all suffering eventually disappeared and God raised him to be the ruler of Egypt and eventually to be king. He is 109 years old.
