Chapter 1:
“Liam, how should we handle this little devil?” Erik asked.
Liam Taylor bowed his head and used a cloth to wrap the wound on his hand. Upon hearing that, he glanced at the trembling girl hiding next to the wheel, and calmly replied, “Clean it up a bit, don’t leave any harm behind.” His pleasant voice was low and clear, vaguely revealing coldness.
“Then let me.” Erik spoke up, and after saying that, he grabbed the iron rod over a meter long and looked at the girl.
It was a round piece of steel the size of a thumb, which Liliana had picked up at a construction site and placed in the toolbox in front of the passenger seat, intending to use it for self-defense. Unexpectedly, it fell into the hands of the kidnapper, becoming a weapon aimed to take her life.
Survive, no matter what, survive!
Liliana’s body trembled, her mind filled with frantic screaming. Her parents had lived a kind and honest life, and they surely couldn’t bear the tragedy of her death. She still had Norman, who was waiting for her.
She really shouldn’t have driven alone on a country road, shouldn’t have thought driving was safe, and shouldn’t have been so kind-hearted as to break when seeing someone lying in the road. She should have stepped on the gas pedal and driven over.
Regret and self-blame were irrelevant now; she was on the brink of death.
“Please, guys, don’t kill me. I will give you all the money and the car. I won’t report to the police either, just please don’t kill me.” She cried in fear, knelt on the ground, and crawled toward the cold-faced man sitting by the road, pleading, “Big brother, please don’t kill me. Look, I just stopped the car to save someone. Please let me go. I absolutely won’t say anything. Tonight, it’s as if I’ve seen nothing, met no one, really, really.”
This girl seems very smart.
Liam couldn’t help but glance at her, her face streaked with tears, features delicately proportioned. Because of fear, her face was slightly deformed, her watery eyes sparkling with light, expressing a plea. But that did not make his cold heart waver. He remained indifferent, bowing his head and bandaging the wound on his hand. When he jumped from the truck, he sustained an injury. His hand grazed a roadside rock, nearly severed.
The girl was still at his feet, constantly kowtowing and crying. He felt a bit frustrated, one hand inconveniently bandaged, so he raised his hand and gave it to Etham next to him, coldly asking, “What’s the matter now?”
Erik walked over, picked her up like a chicken... then pulled her into the grass along the roadside.
Liliana struggled as hard as she could, not daring to belt. It was deserted in front and behind. Her screaming would be futile as it would only accelerate her demise. Therefore, she only dared to cry and beg.
“Erik, wait a minute.” It was Etham, who was bandaging Liam’s hand, calling out to Erik, cautiously asking for Liam’s instructions: “Liam, can we keep her here for now? What can she do to us?”
Liam’s lance-shaped eyebrows frowned slightly, his lips pursed silently.
Erik couldn’t help but tease his accomplice. “Are you moved?”
Etham laughed loudly, his eyes falling on Liliana’s round breasts shaking with no cover, questioning Erik: “So what? Haven’t been with a woman in a month, don’t you desire to?”
Relying on the bright moonlight, Erik lowered his head to look at the girl in his arms, unable to suppress his desire. She was indeed a beautiful young girl, with pure facial features and an attractive appearance.
Liam caused both men to feel flustered.
Liam’s cold and cruel eyes swept over Liliana’s panicked and trembling body, coldly spitting out, “We’re on the run. If you want to play around, wait until it’s safe, then it’s up to you.”
Liliana sat huddled together, trying not to faint, looking pleadingly at the thin man, taking advantage of the only chance to survive, “Brother, as long as you don’t kill me, I will accept everything. I still have parents. They only have me as a daughter.”
Etham felt a strong temptation and laughed lewdly while persistently asking Liam, “Taylor, it won’t take much time.”
Liam hadn’t given his order yet when Erik cursed, “You have no shame!”
Etham, though scolded, didn’t continue dragging Liliana away, but his eyes still looked at their leader expectantly.
These were the brothers who had followed him through everything. Liam looked up and glanced at them, casually plucking a blade of grass from the roadside and putting it in his mouth. He showed impatience for the first time, his angular face revealing a hint. “Just be quick about it.”
Etham jumped for joy and headed toward Liliana, while Erik laughed and generously stepped aside. “You can go first.”
Liliana didn’t resist, desperately kowtowing and begging Etham, “Brother, please don’t kill me, please, I really won’t say anything.”
“I won’t kill you. Just be obedient.” Etham replied nonchalantly while hurriedly reaching out to touch her well-shaped breasts. The soft smoothness of her body under the fabric filled his hand. He became impatient, glancing around before pulling her into the grass.
“In the car, let’s go to the car.” Liliana’s voice was as small as a mosquito, but loud enough to catch the attention of the man standing nearby. His cold eyes fell on her, making her stammer in fear, “The back seat is comfortable, not confined.”
Etham’s face lit up, pulling her toward the SUV parked on the road, opening the back door and pushing her inside. Liam watched silently, motioning Erik to follow.
Erik, understanding, followed curiously.
The white SUV was spacious and tall. Erik leaned against the car, teasing Etham. “Are you just going to do it like this?”
Etham muttered, “Shut up,” and inside, the sound of clothes rustling and Liliana’s muffled sobs could be heard. With the painful sobs were the excited pants of the man, and the car shook rhythmically.
“Damn it!” Erik’s body was reacting, and he cursed, stepping away from the car, taking a few steps forward before turning back to scold, “You better hold back!”
“This girl is still a virgin.” Etham’s voice was gleeful and triumphant, panting heavily. “I hit the jackpot today.”
Erik was briefly stunned, spat on the ground, and laughed as Liam standing not far away. “Taylor, with such vigor, the damn car might just fall apart.”
Still a virgin? It was unimaginable. Liam smirked mockingly.
The car shook relentlessly; the rhythm growing stronger, prompting the man to act more aggressively, uttering profanities as he pressed against her.
Liliana bit her lip, enduring the pain. She tried to relax, but couldn’t escape the intense pain. She took a deep breath, one arm around his neck, enduring his assault, while her other hand fumbled for the knife behind the driver’s seat.
A small, sharp fruit knife was present. Last time, when Norman took her on a spring outing, she had lounged in the back seat, and after waking up, used this knife to cut fruit for him. She had sat properly behind, cutting the apple into small pieces, feeding them to Norman. Who would have thought he would grab her finger with his mouth, mischievously licking it, causing her to panic?
She had to survive, Liliana told herself. Her parents and Norman were waiting for her. She couldn’t die here, couldn’t die humiliated and violated.
Finally, Liliana’s hand found the knife, the malicious man still moving violently on top of her. She was at her most peaceful state ever. Her hand moved over his back, trying to find his heart, but she wasn’t sure. She feared the knife was too short, unable to pierce his heart with one stroke.
The man’s speed increased, leaving Liliana no time to hesitate. She hugged his neck, lifting her head to kiss him to distract him. The man, unaware of her intent, even seemed pleased with her reaction, holding her tighter and kissing her more fervently.
As his body tensed uncontrollably, Liliana, without hesitation, stabbed the knife into the back of his neck.
A single stroke could claim a life at that spot. The man’s thin body froze momentarily. He tried to lift his head, his eyes wide, as if wanting to see the woman beneath him clearly. But he had lost the opportunity. Liliana wrapped her legs tightly around his lower body, one hand pressing into his neck, the other gripping the knife handle, using all her strength to push down. His spine, carotid artery, and throat? The sharp blade severed all.
It was a perfect knife, well worth bringing back from Switzerland.
Like a fountain, blood gushed, forcing her to shield herself with her hand as her body and vision became soaked in it. The man on top of her finally stopped struggling, his warm body twitching slightly. Liliana dared not let go, peeking outside. The tall, ferocious man stood not far away, and “Liam” sat just ahead.
