Sebastian looked irate. I think to myself as I walked back to the room and grab a shirt from the dresser and throw it over my head. Looking at the she-wolf in my bed, I honestly could not be bothered. “Get dressed b***h, I am busy.” Huffing, the woman got up and grabbed her clothes from the floor before sauntering off to the bathroom, glaring at me before slamming the door. Heading towards the small office space we had converted into our command center, I began to think of how to explain to Sebastian that the rumors of the supposed rogue attacks were something of concern. My trip to the tavern was helpful as it always was. Between the women and the men always trying to be the next on my list, there was no shortage of informants to ask when seeking information. My methods, as unorthodox as they may be, were rather effective in the long run. When you hold the power of someone’s release in your hands, they become rather cooperative. Now to explain to Sebastian that I did in fact find information, but there was a very valid reason as to why I was in bed upholding my end of the bargain in my case this meant engaging in copulation, instead of reporting to him. Sebastian sat at his desk, his blue eyes piercing me as I entered the room. “Bryc...” Cutting him off, knowing how he was going to respond was enough. “I have the intel you requested.” This seemed to silence my brother for now. Smirking, I continued. “There has been scattered attacks on the local packs from a group of what I hear is 4 or 5 rogues. Their success seems to be in attacking in the night while the compound sleeps. They have kidnapped numerous she-wolves and as of now when taken they are not found alive. Our intel tells us that they seem to be searching for someone.” I have never feared my brother, he always had my back, and I would lead our army into war for him any day. We had been burning the candle at both ends lately trying to eradicate all rouges brought within our territory. Our history with rogues is rather sensitive of a topic, we hate them and would love to see them all suffer and die. Losing his parents to a rogue attack was the hardest thing I had ever seen him go thru as his friend and brother it killed me. Sebastian’s parents had taken me in when my family was murdered in cold blood while we slept. My life only exists because when I heard my families cries for help, I hid like a coward. Hours and hours passed. Eventually, the pack house grew silent, and I came out in search of my mom or dad and found their bloody corpses. Shock and fear fueled me as I ran through the pack house seeing things no child could ever filter out of their memory. They were all dead. Everyone. I ran for days on foot and finally, when I couldn’t run anymore, and I was starving and dehydrated, I passed out. Luckily for me, I passed out in their territory. Losing two sets of parents to rogues was rough and I mirrored his hatred. However, as of late, his hatred had turned to an obsession that worried me at times. Sebastian sat in silence processing the information I had relayed. “We will need to start patrolling the territory borders with prejudice again round the clock to ensure that we beat them to the attack. Any rogue party is to be killed on sight, sparing one for interrogation.” “Yes Alpha”, I nodded before taking my leave and giving him time to process all the memories and thoughts sure to be flooding his head as they did mine.
