Alexander's Friend

Alexander woke up at 9 o'clock in the morning, which is very late for him, but he is saved because he is supposed to go at his university today. His first lecture is on 10:30 and he also does not have to go with his father to any of their companies' visit. Last night, he slept late because he was reading the piles of documents, he had received from the administrations, about all the information of their restaurants' chains. After getting out of his bed, he went to the bathroom and while taking his bath, he was thinking to himself, about how desperate he is, for his student life to end, so that he can start working on his career in his practical life.

"I mean, it's not as if I am in school, I am an adult and can work with Dad, but no my parents want me to enjoy this stupid student life of mine." Alex said to himself in his mind, while once again getting annoyed about why his parents do not understand that he is not like other boys of his age and is way much more mature than them.

After finishing his whining and bath both, he got dressed in a navy blue button up shirt with white skinny jeans and went out of his room to leave right away. Because, he has to pick his lazy friend Josh again, who does not like to drive himself to the university because sports cars are not allowed in there. Because, if the administration would allow it, the whole university will become a racing track with lots of expensive and gorgeous looking sports cars of the ridiculously rich students, who study there. Alex texted his friend to come down, after reaching at his mansion. Josh came out after 10 minutes, only in his black trouser pants. He was holding a white t-shirt in his one hand and his bag in his other hand, while his wet hair were not even dried properly. At first, Alex was really angry at his friend, for being late again but he could not control his laugh after seeing Josh in that state. Josh walked towards the car and settled himself down in it, with an annoyed face.

"Seriously, dude! Just shut up, okay?...You are the reason, why I am in this state, only I know how, I took my shower, just because of your stupid obsession with punctuality." Josh exclaimed with annoyance while putting on his shirt and then he, tried to style his hair with his hands, with the help of the rare mirror of the car.

"And you still managed to be 10 minutes late." Alex replied sarcastically while rolling his eyes and then started the car.

Josh and Alex had been bestfriends since childhood but they are totally opposite to each other. They had first met at Alex's fourth birthday party and from then onwards, they had stayed together and supported each other in their every difficult time. Their fathers are also good friends and have a lot of mutual businesses.

"Come on dude! Don't turn off the mood, don't you know what day it is today?" Josh said with an amused faced and arrogant smile.

"The new batch of this year will be coming to take their very first lectures. I seriously hope that this batch will have lots of fresh beauties." Josh said and smirked while thinking about all the girls who will be hovering over him like bees.

Josh and Alexander are from the list of one of the most famous students' groups of the university. It is because not only they have extremely rich parents but also because they are just way too good looking. Alex is six feet two inches tall, he has dark brown hair, green eyes, a perfect nose, with a beautiful pair of full lips and also has a really sharp jawline. He has every muscle in his body, to make him look like as if he is the most handsome man to be alive on earth. While Josh is six feet tall, he also has every nice features to make him extremely handsome, with chocolate brown hair and blue eyes. 

"When will you ever grow up, Josh? You have to take over your father's position soon, and you are way too under qualified for that, does not your parents say anything to you?" Alex questioned him with curiosity.

"They do, but I believe that a person can take care of all his responsibility while still being able to enjoy his life." Josh reasoned while shrugging his shoulders.

"There is a difference between enjoying life and spending it irresponsibly." Alex commented.

"Yes right, as if buying a new luxurious car every month is a very responsible behavior." Josh said while having a wicked smile on his face. Last month Alex had bought an Audi A8, and gave Josh the excuse that he had bought it because his other cars are not comfortable to do long drives, and right now they are sitting in his new Mercedes-Benz AMG GT.

"Come on man, this is my reward from my father because I finalized a project with the asian merchants, at least I share some of my father's work not like someone else." Alex gave yet another excuse for his huge car collection because he has a lot of interest in cars of all type and thinks his car collection as if its his hobby.

"Yeah yeah whatever you say big guy." Josh replied while getting out of the car in the university's parking lot. Excitement can be seen on Josh face, while Alex is not in the mood to be facing a day like this, he knows that he will have to say no to lots of welcome parties in which he will be invited by the new comers and especially the girls. He thinks about the work which is more important to him, like the restaurants' checking visits he has to do on the weekend. He also hate those running and chasing games he will have to play with the girls again, starting today, and he knows that they will also end only when he will be graduated from this university. 

Alex sighed loudly when he saw a group of girls staring at them too intensely, the moment they entered the university, he thought to himself that he would have never come here, if only he had remembered about all of this before ahead. Josh started walking, with a grin on his face, in the direction of the place where the girls were standing, after noticing this, Alex escaped from there and he started walking towards his class. 

When he was walking straight, he saw a girl walking towards him, he stopped for a second, their eyes met, he looked into her greenish grey eyes and he felt something, as if something is happening in his heart, but the girl casually broke their eyes' contact first and walked passed him, Alex felt a small ache in his heart, she left him stunted, he turned back to look at her, but she didn't. And for the rest of the time, until he was in that place, he kept on thinking about that one moment.
