Their New Lives

FIVE YEARS LATER:

Alex woke up, he went to take his bath, wore his brown suit with white button up shirt and lastly brown leather shoes, then he went downstairs to have his breakfast alone in their mansion because his parents are on their long vacations again. It's been four years, since Alex has become the co-chairman of their businesses and till now he takes care of all the businesses' work on his own and his parents always go on vacation in different parts of the world. His father only visit the headquarters sometimes to see how's everything going, as the chairman. All these years, Alex never once went on any of the blind dates his mother had arranged for him. He had his focused on his work only, he never took any day off. After finishing his breakfast, he went outside, his driver opened the door of his Mercedes-Benz for him and he sat inside to go to his office. Today, is going to be another busy day for him because he has a meeting, with all the marketing companies of his businesses, for the new year's marketing ideas.

Alex has became much more mature than before but his obsession with expensive cars is still the same. Now that he is the co-chairman, the dominating side of his personality has gone much stronger, he just can't take no for answer and want everything to work according to his perspectives only. 

When Alex was sitting in his car, he unlocked his phone, and stared at a picture of her. Diana's picture. It's been five years since he had seen her in person. Only he knows, how he had spent those years without her. He opened an email which was mailed him by Jack. It is true that he had not meet her but not even for one day, he had stopped Jack from sending him her all activities, her graduation, her moving out from her parents' house, her internship and her first permanent job, he knows about everything that had happened. He thought to himself, while staring at a picture of her, going to her office:

"Babe, if you had thought that by saying no to me once, you had stopped me from loving you, then honey, you are so wrong.....I have never stopped loving you....and I think now is the time you accept my love as well...because now....I am coming to you." Alex said in his mind and smiled while rubbing his thumb lightly on her face in the picture.

Just like always, Diana woke up, took her bath and had her coffee. Today, Diana wore a baby pink pencil colored skirt with white shirt. She paired her clothes with baby pink colored 2 inches high heels. Diana's grandmother had died because of a heart attack two years ago. After her death, her father, gradually, became a lot more quieter than before, even though he still keeps himself busy with his work but he has stopped scolding everyone and only mind his own business now. Lucy had advised Diana to move out because her office was really far away from their house, and now, Diana lives alone in her three rooms rented apartment which also has a small walk-in closet. At first, she used to live in another shared apartment. Diana worked really hard, when she got herself a permanent job and after getting promoted three times, she has now became the chief manager of the marketing team in her company and earns enough money to bear her expenses and the apartment's bills easily on her own. Getting promoted for three times was not easy for her, but she made it possible by working day and night without making any excuses.

Diana grabbed her skinned color bag to go out, she sat in her car, which she has bought 4 months ago and drove to her office. 

"Good morning, Miss Diana. Today, you have to finalize our marketing plan with the other members of our team and at 1:30, you will have to leave with the CEO, for the headquarters, to present the plan." Diana's assistant spoke, when she came to her office and sat in her room.

"Good morning to you too, Sofia and thank you for your service, you can go back to your work now." Diana said after sitting in her chair and smiled while looking at her assistant. The assistant also smiled back and left her office after nodding her head lightly.

After two hours, when Diana finalized everything with the members and came back to her room. Louis, the CEO came and knocked on her door.

"Come in." Diana said while sitting on her chair and reading the documents.

"Hey there! Gorgeous, how's everything going? Are you ready for the presentation?" Louis said while walking towards her desk, when he reached there, he sat on the chair which was placed in front of Diana's and winked at Diana. He had came to this company two years ago, and now both of them have became really good friends. He is two years older than Diana.

Louis is a handsome man. He has black hair, with light brown eyes, a perfect smile and sharp jaw-line with a good figure. Even though he has a flirtatious personality, he is not a bad guy.

"Of course I am ready Louis, when are we leaving?" Diana asked casually while ignoring his flirtatious compliment.

"You never disappoints, Diana....You ignore my flirting sentences equally....every time." Louis said and chuckled.

"And you never stop trying....no matter how many times I ignore those sentences." Diana said sarcastically while focusing on her work.

"You are looking busy right now, so I will flirt with you later and we are leaving in an hour. Please send your beautiful assistant with the documents to my office, when you are done." With that Louis left after smiling wickedly, at Diana's annoyed face.
