His Decision

The time was around eight, on Tuesday, when Alex came back into his room. He loosened up his black neck-tie, he was really tired because this time, he was the one, who was dealing with all the work and his father was only observing him and was giving his opinions, where he thought they were needed. Alex took a cold bath to freshen up, he still have some details to read, about the deal, they are going to finalize with the merchants, he finished his bath and sat on his bed. He unlocked his phone and saw a message from Jack.

"I have emailed you every single information about her in detail, sir. Is there anything else you would like me to do?" Jack wrote.

Alex sat on the white couch which was placed in his room with a wooden table. He turned on his laptop and then opened the e-mail which was sent to him by Jack.

Name: Diana Thompson.

Siblings: One younger brother, Edward Thompson.

Guardians: Three guardians, father Liam Thompson, mother Lucy Thompson and a grandmother.

Friends: Elizabeth and Scarlett.

Relationship status: Single.

Hobbies: Reading books and listening to music of all kind.

Over all lifestyle: She is an introvert and has only two friends. She also lives with her parents. They only have this house. Her father works for an I.T. company, he is over all a hard working employee but the people around their neighborhood do not have quite good impression of him. They said that he occasionally shouts at his family and is very rude to them. Her mother is a woman with a sweet nature and her life only revolves around her children. Her brother, who is the most close person to his sister, is a very mature boy with good grades. She works two part time jobs, first at a book store near her house and, second at a restaurant owned by your company. It is reported that her admission fees is also paid by her own account and when we checked her father's account details, we found out that he has enough money to pay her fees. We have concluded that, she maybe living with her parents but she bears her all expenses on her own. She really loves her family too and protects them from harm whenever it is needed. Along side all of these things, she is very determinant to achieve her BBA degree, get a good office job and become a successful person. 

With these details, Jack has also sent him, her pictures. There were her pictures with her family, friends and some of her own, from the book store and the restaurant. Alex read all of the details with full focus, he keeps staring at her pictures for a really long time. He got totally stunned by her beauty, he could not take his eyes off from her milky white skin. How can someone has a smile this pure and then not only this, she is such a mature and determinant girl. How can someone be so perfect. 

After a while, Alex sighed lightly. He thought to himself. I wasn't so sure before, but now, I have decided. Only she will be my life partner, my wife. No one can take her away from me now. Not even her. Alex called Jack.

"Jack, I want you to do something." Alex said when Jack picked up the phone.

"Yes sir, please tell me what are your orders." Jack said in a confident tone.

"Follow her, without letting anyone know. I want information about her every move, do you understand?" Alex ordered.

"Yes sir, don't worry, I will do as you have ordered me." Jack replied and Alex cut the call.

Like this, Alex keep on getting all of her whereabouts on daily basis. Alex called Diana again, one day before his return.

"Hello, Diana." Alex greeted.

"Hello Alex, how are you? how's your trip going?" Diana greeted back.

"I am fine, my trip is also going good but you know I am a bit disappointed, this whole time you didn't call me once. I was waiting for your call." Alex said with a sad tone.

"Oh, I am sorry, actually you said you will call me, once you will reach there but you didn't, I figured you must be busy. That's why I didn't call." Diana reasoned.

"Diana, about me not calling you, when I arrived here, I am sorry, and from now on, no matter where I am,  you can call and bother me anytime you want." Alex said seriously.

"Ah....Okay." Diana said slowly, she has noticed it a few times by now. Sometimes, he talks as if they know each other for a long time and are really close, which is totally opposite from the reality, she thought, and smiled at his seriousness.

"Do you remember the promise you made?" Alex asked all of a sudden and brought her back from her thoughts.

"What promise?" Diana asked worried, she believes a person should always keep their promises sincerely and never make excuses in fulfilling them.

"You don't have to sound so terrified, I won't ask you to give me your kidney......I am coming back tomorrow, will you have lunch with me?" Alex said the first part in a very sarcastic manner but when he said the second part his voice was soft.

"Yeah sure, how about we go to a Chinese Restaurant?" Diana suggested.

"Fine with me, give me your address, I will pick you up." Alex replied.

"Thank you but no, I will go there on my own, you text me the address of the restaurant." Diana said firmly.

"Fiinnnneee.....Now that I know you, I have discovered that you are quite stubborn." Alex said.

"So I have been told." Diana said proudly.

"For now,  just know that this much stubbornness will not take you to any good places, good night, Diana, I will see you tomorrow." With that Alex ended the call.

He said everything so fast that Diana could not understand what he meant and at the end, she thought that he must be joking just like he was doing before.

But only Alex knew, what was the actual meaning behind his threat.
