Diana was sitting in her class room, there were still 5 minutes left for her lecture to start, when she thought about the incident that happened a while ago with that boy. She was rethinking about it all, and concluded that she went a bit over board with him and it was rude. She was lost in her thought, when a blonde, light brown eyed girl came and stood in front of her.
"Ah....excuse me, can I sit next to you?" The brown eyed girl asked Diana with a shy smile.
"Yeah sure, why not." Diana replied and picked up her bag from the wooden chair next to her.
"Hello, my name is Stephanie." The girl said while bringing her hand forward to do a handshake with Diana.
"Hello, my name is Diana, nice to meet you." Diana said while shaking her hand.
"I saw you yesterday too, in this class, you were looking cool, when you were so focused in your lecture, so I thought we can be friends, since we are in the same department." Stephanie said cheerfully.
"Yeah sure, how about we go to the cafeteria together after class?" Diana suggested.
"I would love to." Stephanie replied immediately, at that moment, the teacher came as well, and they started taking their lecture.
Their lecture ended an hour later, they were sitting in the cafeteria while having their lunch in front of them.
Stephanie started talking about random stuff and Diana also started to get interested. After a while, that boy form earlier came into the cafeteria as well. Diana noticed that he was becoming the center of attention of a lot of people, as he was passing through them and with him, there was another boy, who was walking beside him.
"Hellooo! beauties." The other guy said with a huge grin on his face. They stopped in front of Diana. The boy, whom Diana talked to rudely before, was a bit startled to see her but he masked it and now he was looking at his friend. Diana did not reply to him and was eating her meal while giving full attention to her food.
"Hey." Stephanie replied dryly while also looking at her meal.
"Are you girls for real? You girls are ignoring us right now? No wait. By any chance, am I ruining the date of you two?" The other boy asked, amused.
"Dude whether we are on a date or not, it is none of your business and as for us ignoring you, I think it is pretty much obvious, so we would really appreciate it, if you guys will leave us alone, not every girl wants to get your attention here, some girls have brains as well." Diana stood up and threw these words on his face with a cold voice.
"A lot of girls actually." Stephanie added and stood with her friend as well, with a smile on her face.
"I am really sorry about my friend's behavior, we will leave you guys alone, sorry again." The boy from before apologized with a serious voice and a concerned face, while looking into Diana's eyes deeply, he then dragged his friend away who was glaring at Diana intensely.
"Girl! That was lit." Stephanie said while smiling devilishly at Diana.
"I knew it when I first saw you. You not only thinks like me, you got that fire as well, you stand up and speak in front of others without any fear, I would never regret the moment when I asked you to be my friend." Stephanie said joyfully.
"Well thanks Stephanie, but it wasn't that much." Diana said casually after chewing her food.
"Yeah, sure queen, whatever you wanna say about it."Stephanie replied.
They finished their lunch in peace, took the rest of the lectures, which were left, together and before going back home, they exchanged numbers and said goodbye to each other.
Diana did not walk far, when all of a sudden, it started to rain, she was walking on a quiet road, when she saw a black Audi A8 coming her way. She kept on running straight to find a shelter but the car stopped right in front of her.
"Hello again and if you don't mind I can drop you off to where ever you are going." Diana recognized the boy from earlier, when he rolled down the car window, and talked. After thinking for a while, she decided to get in the car, because it's a 20 minutes walk from here to the subway station and by that time she will be fully drenched. The guy smiled at her when she was finally in the car and was now sitting next to him.
"Hello to you too. Thank you for your help and please drop me off at the subway station." Diana looked at him with a small smile and replied.
"Ahh....with all due respect, I can drop you to your destination, instead of the subway station if you like, miss.....?" He said after a pause and started the car.
"Diana, my name is Diana and my destination is far, so you don't have to worry. I will go there on my own." Diana answered.
"Alright, miss Diana, as you wish. But can you please forgive me and my friend for our mistake this morning, I know what we did was wrong, I would like to apologize for it and my name is Alexander." He said with a serious face.
"Its fine, but please make sure, things like these do not happen again. Please accept my apology as well for how I talked to you at first on that wooden bench before. I realized that it was really rude of me." Diana replied.
"Okay, no problem. So can we be friends, now that we both have cleared the misunderstandings?" Alex asked while stopping the car at the subway station. The rain had also slowed down by that time.
"Yeah sure." Diana replied and got off the car.
"See you again, Diana." Alex said from his car window while still looking at her going away. Diana also stopped and turned around, she gave him a small smile and left.
