I can't believe I almost lost my mate because of my stupidity. I should never have said the things I did. I look at her naked body while she gets out of the water. I'm hers now and she is mine. I can't wait to make her mine in bed as well. I feel my d**k throbbing for her and I try hard to focus on something else so that it can relax. "So I'm guessing by the way you threw the book it didn't make sense to you?" I ask while also getting out the water and putting on my clothes. "No, none of it makes sense I guess I will need grandpa's help after all," she says while walking back to the packhouse. I take hold of her hand and walk side by side with my beautiful mate."Don't worry we will all figure it out together. So I have been wanting to ask you, why we're you naked and your clothes far away from you?" I asked while looking at her beautiful face. "Well" she shrugs and I've never seen her smile this big. "I shifted into my wolf. It was amazing I could feel everything that she felt the ground under her paws the wind rushing through her fur, the feeling of being free." She looked so genuinely happy. I've never seen anyone so happy about shifting for the first time they usually want to sleep afterward because of the immense pain we feel the first time. "Did it hurt when you shifted?" I asked her trying to figure out a little bit more about her. "Well yes, it was painful but it only lasted for like five seconds I think. Why, was it not supposed to hurt?" she asked me sounding nervous. "It is supposed to hurt, it should hurt like hell and not just for a few seconds and then you're supposed to transform back into human form immediately, most wolves fall asleep right after they shit." she squeezes my hand tight. "It wasn't like that at all for me, it only hurt for a few seconds, and then she ran, I only shifted back when we got to the waterfall I wasn't tired at all not even now." I looked at her amazed. "Wow it must be because of the Chimera myth then, you have a high tolerance to pain then also." We find the others still in the office where we left them. Her grandfather was the first to speak. "Miane I'm sorry I shouldn't have just dropped everything on you just like that." she lets go of my hand and walk towards him and hug him. "It's ok grandpa it's not your fault you're just trying to help. I looked through the book and it doesn't make sense to me anything at all." She walks back to me and we take a seat together. Ruby and Justin left already. It was already three in the morning. "We will continue this conversation later. We all need some rest and refresh our minds before we look any further into this." her grandfather says while walking with his wife to the door. "Yes I agree," her father says while standing up he retrieves a small box with a bow on it out of his drawer."Miane and Jeandre you both have found each other and soon you will start a family of your own and that's why we would love to give you something. If you want it that is if not we will make another plan" He hands the box to us and Miane opens it inside is a set of keys. She looks confused at her parents not knowing what the keys are for. "This is the keys to the other apartment on the third floor. It is yours now and when we have time we can change and build and decorate it as you like" Her mother says while hugging and kissing her. "Now go to your new home and get some rest. We will see you later." her mother says as they also make their way out of the office. We walk to the apartment, I unlock the door and open it but I stopped her before she could enter. I pick her up bridal style. She giggles as she holds on to me. "It's our first night together and in our own place. You deserve to be carried in." I carry her to our new bedroom and put her down on the bed. "I want to take a bath first it was a long day," she says as she gets up. I walk with her to the bathroom and I watch her as she fills the bath with bubble bath and water. "Would you be comfortable if I took a bath with you?" I have to ask her remembering her words at the waterfall. She is still innocent, a virgin. I don't want to do anything to make her feel uncomfortable. She looks down but not before I see her blushing lightly. "Well, I guess it would be ok I mean you've seen me naked at the waterfall." She starts to undress and I can still see the blush on her face. She gets in the water and her body disappears underneath all the bubbles. I quickly undress and get in the water with her. It's going to take a while for her to get used to this.
