Doojoon was waiting in front of her building, happy that he was going to spend the day with her. Although he wished it wasn't as friends. When they hung out together there was always one or two of the other guys were always there with them. He only got an hour with her at most, and then Junhyung would steal her from him. The thought alone made him clench his fists in anger. He sighed heavily and closed his eyes as he waited for her to finish getting ready. She had invited him to wait in her apartment instead of in the cold, but he refused. Saying he wanted to stretch his legs and get some fresh air. It was already hard for him to concentrate with her so close in the car. Where all his senses were filled with her. He wouldn't be able to stand being in her apartment as she took a shower and got dressed. The sound of footsteps made him break out of his thoughts. Doojoon looked up and saw Ella walking towards him. No matter how many times he saw her his heart would always beat out of his chest, like it was the first time all over again. She wasn't wearing anything special. Just a pair of jeans with a fitted black sweater, a backpack was in her hand. She had decided to bring extra clothes to store in Junhyung's room since she was sleeping there most nights. Doojoon opened the door for her, making sure she was seated properly before getting in himself. As he started the car, he noticed that she seemed distant. The whole drive there she was quiet and looking out the window. They didn't sing to songs like they had before, even though the radio was playing. Doojoon kept sending her side glances wondering what was wrong. The thought that Junhyung was at fault was firmly planted in his mind. But that was nothing new. Whenever she was upset it was more likely then not Junhyung's fault. Ella kept checking her phone for messages when Doojoon was distracted driving. She sensed that he was looking at her more often the longer they were in the car. She felt nervous that he was going to find out what she was up to. When the car stopped and he turned off the engine she inwardly sighed in relief. He had parked a block away from the theatre so they would have to walk the rest of the way. As they made their way to the movie theatre. Doojoon kept looking at Ella and saw that her mind was still somewhere far off. Once again not paying attention to where she was going. He shook his head and looked forward. It was one of those things about her that were endearing. She always spaced out perfectly. She wouldn't notice even if a whole circus act was being performed in front of her. Although it gave him plenty of opportunities to outwardly stare at her, he still worried that she would get herself in trouble one day. Especially, since she was always listening to music when she was on her own. A bike messenger was speeding towards them on the sidewalk ahead. He thought that the guy would swerve around them but as they got closer he realized that the jerk had no such intentions. Almost at the last minute he grabbed her arm and pulled her towards him. Turning her with his whole body to make sure she didn't get a scratch on her. She looked up at him surprised finally coming back to reality. "Ya! Watch where you're going!" He yelled angrily at the guy as he rode away. "I didn't even see him. Sorry, I totally zoned out." She looked up at Doojoon apologetically. "I know..." He smiled down at her gently. "Are you ok?" "I'm fine! You pulled me out of the way." She laughed brushing off his inspecting hands. "You really should pay more attention to your surroundings." Doojoon scolded her frowning. "Come on, we're gonna miss the movie!" She grabbed his hand and pulled him along since he stopped moving. "Your just trying to avoid my lecture." He huffed. "You know it." She gave him a cheeky smile and stuck her tongue out at him. Letting go of his hand and running inside. "She's killing me..." He groaned and followed her inside. They bought tickets for the new Transformers movie. Sometimes it really amazed him that she liked things most girls wouldn't. After a minute of arguing over who was going to pay, Ella gave in and let him do what he wanted. Since he was so stubborn about paying for everything she decided arguing with him was a waste of time. Heading over to the snack bar he bought them both popcorn and coke. She was munching on popcorn happily as he lead her to their seats. He swallowed nervously as he sat them down in a couple seat, glancing at her to see if she would protest. Seeing that she didn't seem to care he inwardly sighed in relief. Although it wasn't exactly as he wanted it, he managed to get a date with her. He shook his head at his own foolishness. Popping popcorn into his mouth and then taking a swig of coke. Just as the lights dimmed and the previews came on he felt a tug on his arm. He glanced over at Ella to see what she wanted. She leaned close to him whisper in his ear. "I really have to use the bathroom." She said biting her lip. "What? Why didn't you go earlier?" He frowned at her. "I didn't feel like it then.." She responded with her face scrunched up. "Don't take too long. You'll miss the movie." He chuckled as she stood up and squeezed passed him into the aisle. When Ella walked out into the lobby she took out her phone and quickly texted Sora to see if she was here yet. Walking toward the exit she saw Sora waiting in front of the theatre. Running up to her she gave her a quick hug and looked her over. Sora was wearing a light blue sundress with strappy shoes. Her long brown hair softly curled. "Wow you look amazing!" She beamed at her friend. "Well, even if you force me I have to try don't I?" Sora pushed her friends shoulder teasingly. "Oh don't complain! You think he's sexy anyhow." Ella laughed as she handed her ticket to Sora. "Now hurry up the movie's starting any second!" "Ok ok. I'm going." Sora exclaimed as her friend shoved her toward the entrance. Ella watched her friend as she entered the building. She felt slightly worried that it wouldn't work out well. Doojoon had always protested her setting him up with a friend. But she wanted her friend to be happy. Although he always smiled she sometimes caught a glimpse of sadness in his eyes and it made her worry. It was out of her hands now. She tried her best and it was up to him from here. Taking out her cell phone she sent him a quick text. Doojoon ate another piece of popcorn as he waited for Ella to comeback. He started to get worried as the movie previews were finishing and she hadn't returned yet. As he stood up to go look for her his phone buzzed. He took it out of his pocket and sat back down to read it. From: Unknown I'm going back to the dorm to wait for Junhyung~ Her name's Sora! Have fun^^ Doojoon stared at the message blinking. It took him a minute to realize what was going on but it was to late. Just as the movie started to play and he stood up to leave, a girl with light brown hair stood in front of him. "It's nice to meet you. Ella wouldn't stop telling me how great her Doojoon Oppa is and insisted I go on a date with you." She smiled at him half apologetically and held out her hand to shake his. Knowing by the look on his face that he didn't want to be there. "It's nice to meet you too..." He forced a smile and gestured for her to sit in the spot he had saved for Ella. They didn't talk and watched the movie in silence. Every minute going by excruciatingly slow for Doojoon. Clenching his teeth he tried to keep his face emotionless. He felt pain shoot through his heart as he thought of Ella. When the movie was over he quickly excused himself and escaped the theatre feeling suffocated. Doojoon turned onto a less crowded street and leaned against one of the buildings columns. He clutched at the tightness in his chest and tried to push down the emotions that were boiling up. But it wasn't soo easy anymore. All those months that he had swallowed his sadness had lead to this moment. He couldn't stand the thought of being with anyone else. The thought of not having her. It was a matter of time before he wouldn't be able to control his feelings anymore. Doojoon started to breathe heavily. "Why? Why?!" He slammed his fist into the wall in anger. Finally letting his emotions go, he broke down.
