Lana watched Jason disappear into the crowd and sighed.
So much for their date.
She glanced back at the ice cream stall. She had been looking forward to it, but getting ice cream alone after being ditched by her boyfriend suddenly seemed depressing.
She shoved her hands into her pockets and started walking instead.
There wasn't really any reason to rush home. It was still early, and she wasn't ready to spend the rest of the day sitting around her apartment. She wandered through a few of the small shops lining the street, occasionally going inside when something caught her eye.
She knew Jason's work was important to him. She couldn't exactly blame him because something went wrong at the studio.
