Chapter 6

-7.30 pm-

While heading home, Bleu felt like maybe something or someone was following him. He kept turning around but to no avail, no one was around. He planned to figure out who that mysterious person or mysterious thing is so he took the nearest shortcut and headed straight for the forest while turning around every few seconds.

Bleu's POV

"Wh- Who's there?" I called out.

Silence.

"Who's there?! I'm warning you, don't come close or you'll regret it!" I shouted.

"Hah! Like you'll do anything to me," A husky voice spoke out of nowhere. "You don't even have a superpower, what are you going to do? Call Luna and Chad for backup? Hah! As if they terrify me!" The unknown voice sarcastically said.

"Wait, do I know you? How did you know that I'm friends with Luna and Chad? Are you spying on us?!" I shouted, feeling slightly uneasy.

"Oh don't worry about that, I'm sure you'll get to know me soon! For the time being, stay away from both Luna and Chad. Trust me, they're bad news and I wouldn't you to get in trouble with them!" The man said.

"What do you mean by 'bad news'?" I quickly asked.

Silence.

"Hello! Are you there?!" I shouted, waiting for a response.

Silence.

"Hello?!" I shouted once again.

"You know what, I'm too tired right now to worry about him. What I do know is that I will never trust anyone and their judgment about Luna and Chad. They're good people and I wouldn't want to betray their trust. I'm just going to head home and tell them everything tomorrow in school..." I thought to myself, walking back home as fast as I can.

-The Next Day-

It was 9 in the morning and class was about to start in 30 minutes. Bleu was standing by his locker, eagerly waiting for two of his close friends to arrive, feeling very excited to tell them the incident that happened yesterday night.

Luna's POV

It was 8.30 in the morning and I was outside Chad's house, waiting for him to get ready for school. It was always our routine to walk to school together as a way of having some more 'bonding time' and I truly cherish every moment of it. The front door was slightly (agar/ajar) as I decided to stand outside of his house.

"Oh my God, it's been 30 minutes?!" I thought to myself.

"Chad, hurry up! We're going to be late for school or to meet Bleu! We promised him to reach school early right?!" I shouted, hoping that I don't wake his neighbors up.

"Give me 5 more minutes! I'm almost done!" Chad replied, shouting back from his room.

"Okay, fine! Hurry up!" I shouted back.

10 minutes have passed.

"I'm officially going crazy... He's still in his room getting ready and I'm here waiting like crazy for him. Let me just cool down for a second and prepare myself mentally to finally shout his name again." I thought to myself.

"What. The. Hell. Chad!! Are you crazy?! It's been freaking 40 damn minutes and you're still not ready yet?! I'm giving you a minute right now and if you're still not at the front door yet, I'm going to go up to your damn room and freaking slap you in your face so damn hard, you'll be early next time!" I shouted, not caring if I woke up Chad's neighbors.

"Geez Luna," Chad replied, walking down the stairs. "I didn't know you're such a drama queen. I thought Bleu was the only dramatic person between us three but I guess I'm wrong. You're both the same!" Chad jokingly said, laughing from what he just said.

"Haha, very funny," I sarcastically replied. "If you're so funny, walk to school yourself next time. I'm going to be spending more time Bleu instead if it makes everything better." I smiled back at Chad after finishing the last part of the sentence.

"Oh Luna, you know I'm just joking, right? Chill, would ya!" Chad said, finally putting on his final shoe.

"Okay," I replied coldly.

Just as I was about to step out of the house, I received a call from Bleu.

"Oh my God, it's Bleu. Shhhh!" I quickly answer the call.

"Hey Luna, are you guys still meeting me before class? It's okay if we just meet in class or during lunch break." Bleu said.

"No, no. We're still meeting. Someone here just got a tiny bit late with the dressing up but it's fine. I don't care!" I said, looking at Chad bluntly.

Just as Bleu was about to reply, Chad snatched my phone away.

"Oh please. She was just mad that I took 30 minutes to get ready."

"40. You took 40 minutes." I stated.

"Yea, 40 minutes. She's just sulking right now but everything's fine!" Chad said.

"You sure? She doesn't sound 'fine' to me." Bleu said, slightly chuckling.

"Yea, I'm fine. We're all fine. Now give me back my phone you demon!" I demanded, snatching my phone back.

"Okay, okay. Chill Luna. Take a deep breath and calm down. Just talk normally with Chad and I'll see you later, okay?" Bleu told me.

"Okay. Oh and by the way, thanks. Thank you for calming me down." I said, looking down at the ground, smiling to myself.

"No worries L, see ya!" Bleu replied, ending the call.

Chad's POV

I can see the way they look at each other. I can see the way Luna acts around Bleu and when she's on the phone with Bleu. It's final. I've got it!! Luna likes Bleu!

"So, who was that?" I said, giving her the sarcastic face.

"Bleu, duh," Luna replied.

"Oh, you like saying his name don't ya! Do you like him," Chad asked. "Do you, do you?!" I added.

"Oh please, I don't like him. He's just a friend." Luna replied.

"Yea, and when this 'friend' calls your name and looks at you, you get all jittery and butterflies form in your stomach right?" I asked sarcastically.

"Fine... You caught me! I do like Bleu but I swear to God if you ever tell him that- " I cut off Luna.

"I won't. I promise," I told her.

"Heyy, we're best friends and best friends keep each other's secrets right?!" I nudge Luna's arm whilst looking at her slowly start to smile.

"Thanks," Luna replied, smiling softly, looking at the ground while we walk to school.

-Skip to when they both just reach school-

When both Luna and Chad entered the academy, they saw Chad talking to a girl that they both dislike very very much. 

Bleu's POV

I was talking to this girl that seemed very friendly. She approached me and started to ask me where I was from and what were my powers. Honestly, I was enjoying our conversation together and that's when I saw Luna and Chad walk in through the school's front door.

"Oh hey, guys!" I exclaimed.

"Um, hey Bleu.," Luna replied, looking back and forth at me and the girl I just met.

"Oh my God. Hi guys! It's been a while since we've last talked!" The girl spoke up.

"Wait, I'm confused... Do you know them?" I asked the girl, feeling confused.

"Bleu, she's Julie.." Chad quickly replied, looking at the ground.

"Am I missing something here? What's going on? Do you know who I am?" Julie asked me, looking directly into my eyes.

"Um, yea.," I replied. "You're the popular kid here right?" I asked again.

"Well, I wouldn't consider myself as popular but yea.," Julie replied, avoiding eye contact.

"What's wrong?" I asked, reaching out to hold her hand.

"Nn- Nothing. I'm fine. I should go now. Bye!" Julie quickly replied, walking away as fast as possible from us.

"Well, that was weird... Is she always like that?" I asked, turning around and looking at both Luna and Chad.

"No.. I wonder what's wrong with her," Luna replied.

"Well probably daddy went bankrupt and daddy's little girl lost her mind," Chad stated, laughing at his remarks.

"Chad! That's so mean!" I exclaimed. "We have to find out what happened... She could be hurt!" I added.

"So? You don't even know her that well and she's probably acting to get your attention." Luna said.

"Yea, I know I just met her but if something's not right then we have to figure it out! She needs our help, I know it!" I frantically said.

"Fine, but if she does hurt you-"

"She won't, I promise.." I cut Luna off, smiling back at her.

We smiled back at each other for a good minute before being interrupted. Again.

"Sorry to bother your romantic moment but shouldn't we find Julie?" Chad interrupted.

"Oh, yea. Let's go!" I quickly looked away.

-Skip to when they find Julie-

Luna's POV

It took a while to find Julie but thank God we found here. She was sitting alone in the library, which was weird, considering she's popular in this school.

"Come on. Let's talk to her.." Bleu whispered, looking at Chad and me.
