Chapter 13

No one's POV Few minutes after entering the cabinets, all of them felt like something was shaking vigorously and it felt like they were in a rocketship. Little did they know, they were in a small tiny rocketship. Bleu's POV "What's happening? I feel sick all of a sudden and it feels like I'm on a rollercoaster," I thought to myself as I try to grip onto the tiny packet they gave me before this harder. Suddenly I passed out, but I can definitely sense that I was somehow flying from Luna's house to some other place I do not know about. It felt like I was about to die but gripping onto the tiny packet harder did help me in so many ways I can not describe. It regained some of my conscious so I was slightly more aware of my surroundings. No one's POV A few minutes later, they all landed onto this place that no one, not even Luna knows much about, She was only told that this was the only place she can go to if anything were to happen. Luna was quite suspicious about it in the first place when she was told by a random person, claiming that he was Luna's family friend, that this place was built by her parents as a safe place for them in case something goes 'wrong'. He was also the man who told Luna about her secret basement in the first place. Nonetheless, she was determined that this place could potentially save them from being caught by Charles and Christina's associates. Luna's POV Once we landed, I quickly went out of my cabinet as I saw all of my friends leave theirs too. Almost all of them did not seem well so I started to talk first. "Are you guys okay? There's a sugar packet on top of that table beside the fridge. You can take some non-carbonated Isotonic drinks too in the fridge if you'd like." I spoke, slightly smiling, trying to boost the happy spirit. "Thanks, Luna, we appreciate that!" Bleu replied, smiling back at me. "Well, would you look at these love-birds! Cute, am I right Julie?" Chad exclaimed, looking at Julie. "Yea, sure.." Julie replied. "Oh stop it guys. Now's not the time. We still have to find the owner of whatever this place is and we don't know if this place is a hundred percent safe," I said. "WAIT WHAT?!" They all exclaimed at the same time. "What do you mean by 'we don't know if this place is a hundred percent safe?" Julie asked. "You're the one who brought us here, you should know if this place is safe or not," Bleu said, looking super worried. "Yea Bleu's right Luna. I don't want to admit that but he's right!" Chad exclaimed, slightly chuckling. "Bro now's not the right time to be joking about this. Oh and this is for what you said," After saying that, Bleu slapped Chad hard on the back, followed by a satisfied laugh. "YO DUDES didn't you hear what Luna said?!" Julie shouted, looking at the boys to ask them to shut up. "Thanks, Julie," I said, looking at Julie. "Sorry, go on. We're done, for now." Bleu chuckled. "What do you mean by 'for now'?" Chad replied, looking confused. "Excuse me?" An unknown voice spoke. We all turned around at the same time, looking at a much taller person they have never seen before but I have. "Luna?" The voice spoke again. "Wait Luna, you know this dude?" Julie asked me. "Yea, he's the man I told you guys about. He's the one that came to my house and told me about this safe place and that there was a secret basement in my house." I explained. "You didn't even tell us that!" Chad said. "Yes, she did you dingus. Word of advice, stop teasing Bleu when we're in a serious situation okay!" Julie replied Chad. "Woah there Julie, chill. We're sorry okay? We're sorry too Luna," Bleu replied, trying to calm the situation down. "No worries!" I replied. "So who are you exactly?" "Well, I am Duke. I own this place and also the one outside of this room," He spoke. "There's another place outside here?" Chad asked. "No s**t sherlock," Julie replied, laughing. Chad rolled his eyes at Julie, laughing too. "Aww, that's cute. Okay so, are you guys ready to leave this place?" Duke asked. "Yes, we are Duke!" I replied. "Okay, let's go. Don't forget to grab some drinks from the fridge to ya!" Duke told us. -Skip to when they left the room- Bleu's POV "So how was the journey so far?" Duke asked us while we were waiting for someone or something to pick us up. "It was surprisingly easy," Chad replied. "Really? It felt like I was about to die until I grabbed that tiny packet you guys gave me before entering the cabinet," Bleu replied to what Chad said. "Oh that's good to hear," Duke said. "Um, not the dying part sorry, but about the tiny packet helping you," Duke explained. "How did that tiny packet help us though? I still don't understand that." Julie asked. "Well, that tiny packet releases substances that can help prevent your mind and body from becoming unconscious throughout your journey here. You were actually in a rocketship-like cabinet and were blasting off to this place while you were inside that cabinet. Think about it in terms of outer space. You need to wear a spacesuit that astronauts use before traveling to space so the tiny packet acts like a spacesuit basically," Duke explained. "Woah, that's so cool!" Julie and Chad exclaimed. "So that's why I was feeling very light-headed while I was in the cabinet!" Bleu said, finally realizing that he could have died in that cabinet if he had not gripped the tiny packet harder. "Yes, that's exactly why you were light-headed," Duke replied. "Okay so now, who or what are we waiting for, and what is this place?" Luna asked. "We are waiting for my traveling transportation, known as 'flying car' in your language," Duke replied. "Oh cool!" Chad exclaimed. "As for your other question Luna, I will answer it once we have reached our destination," "And where is that?" Julie asked. "My beloved home," Duke answered. "Yo, I got a question too. Does anybody live here? Why does it seem so vacant here?" Chad asked. "Oh, that's because everyone is attending the 'High Spirits' Game. It's a group of males and females that has been elected to represent the game for today. 'High Spirits' occurs annually so we all look forward to it!" Duke explained. "Then why aren't you attending it instead of being with a bunch of kids you don't know about?" Chad asked. "It is because I have been assigned to help Luna if she's in trouble and it seems like you all are in very big trouble," Duke said, pointing to Charles and Christina. "I'm sorry, who assigned you?" Luna asked. "Your parents of course! Before they passed away, they told me to take really good care of you and help you out whenever you are in trouble. I have been friends with your parents for as long as I can remember and they are really good people. It is hard to find these type of people nowadays," Duke told us. "But I'm glad I met them before they passed away." Duke smiled softly. "I'm sure they're proud to call you their friend Duke..." Luna told him. "I sure hope so Luna," Duke replied, feeling hopeful. "Okay, enough talking! My flying car has arrived!" Duke exclaimed. "Wait, why did the flying car take so long to reach here? Shouldn't it be faster than most transports since it can fly?" Chad asked. "Bro let's just go in," Bleu told Chad, patting him on the back. As Julie and Chad went to enter the car, Luna and Bleu went to untie Christina and Charles from their chairs. "Heire sintoz aseo lotaz," Bleu said, lifting both Christina and Charles off the ground after untying them and placed them in the car's trunk. "Okay, let's go!" Bleu said, holding Luna's hand before entering the car.
