The class ends. As expected, they eyed us suspiciously again. Some were glancing in our direction then, whispers to their friends.
No one stands up to go to the canteen. Mukhang nagpapakiramdaman pa sila kung sinong unang tatayo hanggang sa tumayo na si Eos.
"Let's go," he said then, walked away. Sumunod naman agad yung dalawa sa kaniya. I think he saw that I was not following him because he looked back in my seat.
His eyebrows shot up while staring at me. "I told you, let's go."
"Why would I go with you?" I asked.
"Because I said so," he arrogantly said then, walked back to me. He grabbed my hand then dragged me again. He even gets my bag from me.
"Hey!" I groaned. Why does he love dragging me? He does not even know me.
"Yes, princess?" he sweetly asked as he eyed me. He let go of my hand, but he did not return my bag.
"What the hell are you doing?" I whispered to him.
"Oh, princess can curse huh?" he smirked.
“You!” I said annoyed. He just smirks then, drag me until we reach the canteen. As usual sumunod lang ‘yung dalawang lalaki sa amin.
"What will you eat?" he asked me.
We sit at the table, him sitting beside me while the two are seated in front of us.
"Anything," I said. I do not usually eat snacks, that's why I don't know what to order.
He did not even bother to get the payment for it. Diretso lang siyang tumayo at naglakad papunta sa counter. Sumunod din ang dalawa. Seriously, are they his dogs? Sunod sila ng sunod kay Eos.
I roam my eyes around the canteen—some where stealing glances at my position—probably wondering why I am with them. I admit they are gifted with their looks. Maybe, that's why so many girls are eyeing them.
"Here," he said then, arranged the food in front of me. He ordered too much for me. I cannot eat it all. I think he saw my saw expression because he chuckled.
"What?" he asked as he continued arranging our food.
"That's too much calories."
Mother will be angry if she gets to know this.
"Kokonti lang 'yan. Just eat," he thoughtfully said, then continued putting more food in front of me.
Tumahimik na lang ako habang tinitingnan siyang ayusin ang pagkain namin. I've got no choice but to eat the food I can only eat. I cannot just make myself eat it all; I do not want to throw up.
“Oo nga naman, miss. Masyado kang mapayat,” Rico said while widely. He is the one who approached me in our first class.
“What’s your name, miss?” nagulat naman ako. I did not know that there were still some people who did not know me. I mean, my family is so famous.
"Scylla. Scylla Kleio Luzano," I said then, bit on the sandwich. It is their time to get shocked at what I just blurted out.
"You mean? You are one of the heiresses of the Luzano's?" I nodded.
"Wow. Mayaman pala itong kasama natin,” the other man said amused by the fact that I am an heiress. There is nothing to brag about that, so, no need to say it aloud.
"Let the princess eat first," Eos interrupted. I rolled my eyes because of his nickname for me.
"You eat too. You are just hungry that is why you are calling me princess."
I spat then put some food in front of him. I am already full with the sandwich; I do not think I can eat more.
He smiled at what I did.
"What?" I innocently asked.
"Tsk. I told you to eat but, you're giving me your food," he said. His eyebrows shot up again, but I smiled and drank some water.
"I'm too full to eat it, stranger." I smiled. He frowned at the way I call him.
"I am calling you princess but, you are calling me stranger? Where is the justice in that?" he said, frowning.
I chuckled at his reaction. He slowly smiled at me that made me stop from giggling.
I heard some oohs from the two. I look away because of that. My heart thumped so much maybe I was just nervous.
“You really sure that it is your first time too meet?” Rico asked maliciously. Tumango tango naman ‘yong isa nilang kasama na hindi ko pa din alam kung ano ang pangalan.
"You look like a couple arguing about something," he said.
"Shut up, stranger."
“Oh, strangers pala kayo. What about me, Scylla? You know me, right?" Rico said, chuckling. I nodded, which made the two frown.
"I heard your name when they call you," I said.
"They called me too but, you are calling me stranger?" Eos groaned.
"Did they?" I teased him. He pouted, that made the two laugh.
"The mighty Eos is pouting! Everyone should see this,” biglang sigaw nang lalaki. All of the students look in our direction. Some girls even took out their cellphones but, Eos is fast enough not to let them capture it.
I heard the groans of the girl because they didn't capture it. Whispers surfaced the whole canteen mainly from the girls talking about the pouting thingy.
"Leander Aecus Imperial nga pala, princess ni Eos." He said to me then, offered his hand. I frowned at what he called me, but I still shook his hand.
"Rico Imperial, his brother." Rico said, pointing at Leander. I got shocked because of that; they do not look like brothers to me.
"Really?" I spoke. He nodded at me while smiling.
"Fraternal twins, to be exact. Mas matanda lang siya ng ilang segundo,” I nod at what he said. I thought they were just some kinds of friends.
“Hindi mo ba ako tatanungin din, princess? I am jealous. You seem interested in them. How about me?" he said, almost pouting. Maybe, he is stopping himself because of the girls that are staring at our seat.
"Why would I be interested on you?" I ruthlessly said. I think that triggered him to pout because he did without minding the girls. That made me hear their ear-splitting shouts.
He put his hand on his chest while pouting that made the girls go crazy. Geez, they are going to break my eardrum, for goodness' sake.
"You are hurting my pride, princess." He said acting really hurt. It is obvious that he didn't care about it so, I do not know why he is making a big deal out of it.
"Oh, please. Stop with the act," I said, showing my disgust. He pouts even more.
"You hate me, princess?" he said, pouting.
"Bro, stop it. You are creeping me," Leander said, frowning. I nodded while pursing my lips.
"That is right, Eos. I cannot take your fangirls to scream anymore," Rico added, frowning.
"Fine," he said then, fixed his poise. The screams tone down but, the whispers don't stop.
"Still, you need to be interested in me." He whispered to me then, continue in eating. My body jerked because he blew some air in my ears.
I eyed him because of that. He is drinking while smiling amusedly. Probably because of my reaction.
"Ooh, ano 'yan?" Leander asked maliciously. I rolled my eyes at him.
"p**n! p**n!” tumatawang sigaw ni Rico. I felt my cheeks flush because of that.
I heard Eos chuckle but, he did not say anything. Instead, he continued eating and just listened to them.
