“Kai, wait she is still....” Kehlani tried to say but my laughter bubbling forth stopped her words. “Big Brother.” I said laughing and holding onto his arms as he came to a stop. “Mira, did you just call me?” Kai asked as he set my back on my feet but was still holding onto me. Instead of answering I just threw my arms around his neck and said. “Good morning big brother.” Kai wrapped his arms around me in return and pulled me tighter to him. “Yes, little sister it most certainly is a good morning.” Kai replied as he hugged me. Once Kai pulled back he looked at me and asked. "I honestly wasn't expecting you to accept me so soon after what you learned. However I am beyond happy that you are but only of its what you really want to do." "It's not fair to not give you a chance just because my first impression was well frightening to say the least. But I want to give my big brother a shot to prove he can be a good one to me. I also never thought I had any family besides my aunt and her family so I want to give myself a chance to have more family members." I replied to Kai's question and afterwards he lifted me into the air again.

“What the f**k!” As we pulled away, I heard a voice exclaim in surprise. “Um someone want to fill us in?” Another voice asked. “Okay I think its official I’m dead cause aint no way I am seeing Kai act like this, this, whatever it is.” A third voice. “I am still to tired for this shit.” A fourth and final voice spoke. I turned to see four boys around what I am assuming is Kai’s age standing a few feet away and staring at us. “You four are as rude as ever.” It was Kehlani that spoke this time and I saw as she rolled her eyes at the four boys before moving to me and Kai. “Kai?” I asked questioningly, still looking at the four boys. “Do not concern yourself with them Lady Mira let’s get you some food.” Kehlani said taking my shoulders and lightly pushing me to a table that was by a big glass window. “Kehlani I...” “Deal with your friends Lord Kai, Lady Mira does not need those four acting like little brats while she is trying to eat.” Kehlani cut off Kai as we continued to the table. “Kehlani you are forgetting yourself.” One of the boys said stepping forward. "I am not forgetting myself at all I am just fulfilling my duties which is what the four of you should be doing." Kehlani said still guiding me to the table.

Thankfully it didn't go beyond words as Kai stepped in. “Leave it be. Get something to eat Mira and I will see you later.” Kai stopped the boy with his words and then grabbed my arm gently to stop me and kissed my head. “Kehlani take care of my sister.” Kai said to her before walking away from us both. “Let’s go we have work to do.” Kai said to the four boys who merely nodded and followed him out the door. “Kehlani.” “I will tell you after we get you some food Lady Mira.” I nodded and sat down by the window while Kehlani went and got us both something to eat. “So.” I asked after Kehlani had come back and we both had taken a few bites of the meal. “Those four are the sons of Beta Bently and Gamma Dixon.
