Sania doesn’t wake up for days. But she is breathing easier with time and she is no longer in pain. The healer still helps her daily to give nutrition through magic and to assess her physical condition. That healer has become scared of me.
Especially because I am always near Sania.
I brought Sania to my room and let the healers know they must treat her with the utmost care. Which I understand brings a lot of confusion to my people. I know the rumors going in the streets;
That the Emperor has finally lost his mind.
That when the witch annihilated all those demons, she put a spell on the Emperor again.
Sometimes, among those rumors, the truth comes out; that the witch is truly the Emperor’s mate, and he had a hard time accepting it.
