We arrive just in time for the meeting.
Bifta sent a scout earlier to monitor the progress of the demon army. Tollyria and Arkaley are separated by the Furrogey mountains which are almost impossible to cross. So the usual means of transportation is by sea.
The scouts report back to Bifta that two battalions are seen to cross the mountains despite the arduous journey, and the demons are closer to Arkaley than they predicted. On top of that, Arkaley just sent a bird carrying a message that there is a ship of demons coming from the sea too, which they only knew.
Obviously, the news is bad.
Especially because the only reinforcements that have arrived are only from the capital and Corvere. Kandahar’s reinforcements are delayed because of a storm desert. And the other kin
