Ruby Pov: I woke up with my alarm going off. I turned around to see what time it was. It was 5am on a Tuesday morning and I turned off the alarm. I sat up to put out my arms and got on the edge of the bed to put on my house shoes. I got up and went to the kitchen to start a pot of coffee, but there were not any coffee grounds. I decided I would go to Starbucks to get myself some morning coffee. I went back to the bedroom, got out of my uniform and I went out to the hallway and opened the bathroom door. I took a five-minute shower, went back to the bedroom, put my uniform on. I went through the hallway and turned on the lights to the living room. I went to the front door and grabbed my work bag and the keys. Turned off the living room lights, opened the front door to the apartment and went down the stairs. I got to my truck, opened the door to get in, and I got in, shut the door and turned on the truck. Drove off to head to Starbucks and got to the turning lane, went to go, and I got cut off by a Mustang Convertible. I honked my horn at the Mustang. I went to the drive-thru and ordered a black coffee. Got my coffee and headed straight to the office. I didn't reach my office building until 8am. I got to my deck and there were files on my deck, so I picked them up and went through the files. It said I was assigned to a huge case in Oklahoma on a sticky note and I thought to myself I had never been to Oklahoma, so I went straight to the captain's office. To see why I got assigned to this huge case that is in Oklahoma in the first place. I said to the captain," Why did I get this case to Oklahoma?" I have never been to Oklahoma, captain, so how am I going to get there safely so I can investigate this case and figure out what is going on down there, Captain? He said," I got this case because I'm the best he has got, "and they asked him if he had got someone that could handle this case, and they explained to him what is going on down there in Oklahoma. He has told me that he can handle this case better than anyone he knows. So I said," OK, when do you want me to head down there, he said tomorrow if possible, "and I was about to head to my deck to study the files he put on my deck, but he said," Come here, I'm not finished talking to you, and you will be taking the new agent trainee Charles with you tomorrow. He needs the experience and I know you are the perfect person to train him in the right way we do things here. I said I can't do this with a new bee. He would get us both killed down there. That is why they said they would have an agent from their district office to help both of you with the investigation. He would be waiting for you both outside the airport with a sign that says both of your names on it, to answer your questions and now going to tell Charles what's going on. I went to Charles's deck and told him that he would be going me to Oklahoma tomorrow morning at 5am and the plane would be taking off at 6am. But be at the airport at 4am sharp so we can discuss what's going to happen after we get off the plane at Terminal airport in Oklahoma City at 6am on Friday. I explained to him what was going on, and he said I would be at the airport at 3:55am so he would not be late. After that, I went back to my deck to look over the file to see what exactly was going on in Oklahoma. But while I was studying the files, my wolf Wolfie was stirring in the back of my head, so I decided to ask what was wrong with Wolfie. She said nothing you will see. I went back to studying the file until 12pm and decided that I needed to eat lunch while studying the photos of the missing hikers and where they were last seen. So I went to the break room to eat, got my leftover pizza from yesterday’s lunch while studying more. I got back to my deck, and it was 4pm. I did not realize that I was in the break room studying the files for four hours. So I went home and packed up my bags. Studied the files some more to see what they came up missing, but while I was at the office, I looked up what their lives were like and what jobs they worked at, if they had kids, everything about them. I fell asleep studying the files. I did not realize it until I looked at the clock 5am in the morning, so I hurried up, took a shower and put my packed bags in the truck. I ran to the airport, and they had my passport there waiting for me when I got to the airport because the Captain was waiting there to give us our passports. I asked where Charles was. The captain said he was on the plane already, and I got onto the plane, found where Charles was on the plane and I apologized, told him that I fell asleep studying the files. So we talked about the files and what was going on. He did bring up will we be able to see where they are missing from and if we can look for clues. We discuss it for ten hours about how we need to figure out why this is happening all of a sudden. Where they are being taken and there are 12 people missing from the Post Oak-Blackjack forest from a hiking trip. They have been missing for two weeks now. It says here that they are supposed to be staying at the American horse lake cabins for a week. But they never came back from their hiking trip and all 12 people are from different places in Oklahoma. We woke up from the intercom saying that we were about to land, so put your seat belt on.
