As their second year of college rolled around, Liam and Mateo started talking more often and more seriously about their future. They had been making long-distance work, but both knew it wasn’t something they wanted to do forever. “I was thinking,” Mateo said one day during a call, “what if we started looking at internships or jobs in the same city for next summer?
