The rise of a Gambullite Queen

CHAPTER 1 My name is Zelinda Rings. Am not really popular among normal people. Am a type of monster (and no, it's not vampire or werewolf), am a different type of monster. Am part Ghoul, part Gambullites. You know that saying that monsters get they full power or potential or first kill when they come of age. Well. I kinda screwed that up, because apparently it doesn't apply to me. We Gambullites make our first kill at sixteen years old, and we Ghouls make our first kill at twelve years. But well...... that didn't work out for me. You see, on my fifth birthday party, my family and people were attacked by the human forces. My mom being the Queen told our people to run as she tried to protect us (which she obviously couldn't all alone). I couldn't just leave her like that (cuz she's my mom),so I slipped out of my grandma's arms so easily it stunned them all. I ran to my mom who had created a shield with her sacs, to separate us from the humans and hugged her, she looked at me in horror and screamed, begging me to run, trying her absolute best to reassure me that everything would be fine. But when she finally realized that I wasn't going to let go, she hugged me back and cried softly. I look at her and clean her tears "don't cry mama, am here" I whisper to her and kiss her forehead. She smiled sadly and kiss her forehead too. Suddenly, she was shot.As I watched my mom trying to remove the object from her body, bleeding. Something predatory in me rose. Pain and anger choked me. My mom tried reassuring me but I wasn't buying it. I got very angry beyond control and stood up slowly with mommy's blood all over my little hands. I turned to the thousands of human army forces and screamed angrily. " which of you shot my beautiful mommy" I screamed. They all laughed and more guns and lasers where pointing at me and that's when I finally lost it. And that caused my sacs to come out extremely early. I alone killed every single soul,not even sparing one of the seven thousand and ten men that had hurt my mom. But ever since then, people feared me (which caused me to be extremely lonely, distant and friendless),they didn't see me as a hero. They saw me as a monster . I've always wished too be with other people, but we Gambullites, are feared no matter what we do. I know we Gambullites are the ultimate worst (actually, we're worse than that. But shush. Don't tell), but we still have a heart. Just wished people could see it. But everything is going to change now since I got admission into Evergreen Monster Academy (which is my dream school by the way). But my family isn't totally ballistic about it, but been the strongest (no literally,I am)I won. My parents made me promise not to reveal my true identity until the day of prefectship "Princess Zelinda, it's time to go"sorry, that's my butler Gerin. Guess it's time to show what am truly made of. Huh?. CHAPTER 2 We arrive outside Evergreen but parked on the road, because apparently the school is in a freaking forest (or rather the barrier). We got out of the limo and mommy walked with me to the barrier. We stood there staring at the barrier as we finally realized that I was actually the first the Gambullite going to a monster school or any school whatsoever. I know your probably wondering if it also applies to ghouls. Well no. Ghouls are not as dangerous or feared like we Gambullites, and even though am the Princess of both Ghouls and Gambullites, am treated differently because of my Gambullites side. "guess this is where we say our goodbyes"mom said softly as she tried to hold back the tears building in her eyes "oh come here"she said as she pulled me into an embrace. "I love you" she whispered in my hair (my mom is taller than me, am actually very short, am 5'4. Don't judge) "I love you too"I reply softly smiling. She released me from her hug and waved . I wave back smiling as I enter the barrier. Lord, help me. CHAPTER 3 As I walked into the barrier,I appeared at the other side and fell surprisingly enough. It's daytime here (which is weird since it's night time in the human world). There different monsters here (which is super cool). Lost in awe or the place, I boomed into someone. I stepped back immediately apologizing but the moment my eyes mistakenly looked at him,I couldn't talk anymore. First of all, his drop dead gorgeous (I think that's the word),his black hair covers his left eye but I could still see the ocean blue color (unlike mine that's radiant purple, well, it's only when am pretending to be human), his pink lips look artificial. But what's killing me is his smile. ". your cute when you blush, you know" He whispered in my ear in Korean before walking away. First of all WHAT IN THE WORLD (and why is he speaking Korean to me,huh? am obviously Japanese, just looking at me tells you,tsk). Secondly, what is blushing? No seriously,if you know the meaning of blushing, please tell me. Thank you. And thirdly Excuse me, but is that how you talk to people you don't know. What a weird guy. Hmm. I walked up the stairs with my luggages and stood in front of the school's humongous golden entrance door. As I reached out to open the door, it opened by itself and the first thing my eyes met where monsters Different kinds and different species. SO COOL!!! I walked in feeling self-conscious and the doors shut behind me, which made me jump slightly. I thought been here with other monsters will make me feel happy, at ease and even at home, but instead,I feel very uncomfortable. The way some people are looking at me,creeps the creep out of me. Yeesh. Am trying to find the headmistress but I don't think anyone here speaks Japanese. A girl with a funny rainbow hair was standing close to the stairs texting on her phone. Against all odds,I walked up to her and tapped her shoulder (am dying from embarrassment even though I don't know why), she turned around and look down at me and smile showing off her weird sharp teeth (looks more like shark teeth except smaller and prettier), which surprisingly enough makes me feel better and maybe shy. Like really really really shy. She said something but I couldn't understand her at all "umm do you speak... Japanese"I asked quietly (am dying from awkwardness, someone save me) She looked at me surprised then grinned. "of course I can"she said in perfect Japanese to my surprise and happiness. "oh great"I reply with a soft sigh "am Coral,am a mermaid"she said and extended her hand towards me. I don't know why, but I think am supposed to do likewise. Huh?"am Zelinda"I reply (I can't tell her am a Gambullite) Before she could reply,a lady with a beautiful long silky white hair walked to us. She said something that I couldn't understand but I did catch my name is her statement. I look up at her "am Zelinda*I say shyly and the lady turned to me looking extremely surprised and stunned. "do you speak English dear?" she asked in Japanese softly. "no" I reply with a smile. She and Coral looked at each other then at me. Ummmm. Did I say something wrong?"am Mrs Retro Wings" she said with a smile. " ohh,hi"I reply smiling back at her politely. "well, how about we go to my office and get you registered, okay?"she asked politely. I nod excited nervously and she smiled and she lead the way. "well see you around" Coral called out and waved as we walked away. I waved back smiling. As I walked to Mrs Retro Wings (I really need to find a shorter name for her) office, I realized that every door in this place is made of freaking real gold. It remains me of home. It's like walking around my palace, well except it's a school and it's filled with different monsters. She led me into her office (which is surprisingly big but it's still half of my room back at home) and motioned for me to sit down. I sat down opposite her at her desk. She handed me a form to fill. "name" I read inwardly. "Zelinda Rings"I wrote "monster form"I read still in my mind. "Ghoul and Gambullite"I wrote. "parent(s) name"still reading in my mind. "Shato Rings"that's my mom name "Zhiming Rings"that's my dad's name. "monster form"I read to myself. "Gambullite"I wrote for my mom. "Ghouls"I wrote for my dad. "next to kin(in case of an emergency"I read (smart). "Mao Frengi"I wrote "relationship with next of kin"I read. "grandmother"I wrote down. Am finally through. "Mrs Retro Wings"I called out and handed her the file. She took it with a smile "your parents informed me that you don't want your identity revealed to prefectship day princess Zelinda "Mrs Retro said. "um yeah,am trying to make people understand me before I reveal "I replied calmly. "that's quite nobel"she said with a soft beam. "can you call me Zelinda instead please?"I asked quietly. "of course "she replied with a smile. "well this is your room key "she said and handed me a small golden dragon key holder with three keys. I smiled nervously and took it. "all monsters would live with different monsters until prefectship day and when everyone fully resumes "she informed me "ohh"I didn't expect that. "but I should warn you about your roommates"she stated. I blink blankly. "you have two roommates , you've met one, which is Coral. the other one might be your problem"she said as she pulled out a file. she gave me and I took it calmly. I opened it Inside the file was a girl's documents. "her name is Anastasia, she's well um....."she scratched her neck looking at me pitifully "she's a witch, dragon, vampire and most unfortunately a demon"Mrs Retro said as I flipped through the document. "one of her many abilities is shapeshifting. Which she uses for bad obviously "Mrs Retro said with a sigh. "how come she's my roommate?"I asked Mrs Retro skeptical. "well, you three ladies are extremely powerful,so we have to put you together and not with weaker monsters to prevent........ extinction "she said with a small smile. Well could this day get any worse. CHAPTER 4 After handing the file back to Mrs Retro,I headed for my apartment. This school holds over 100 apartment houses which all have a total of 1000 rooms. My room or apartment is on the right hand side of the school building (which is where all dangerous (or over powerful predators) monster live, until prefectship day where we have to finally live with our kind of monsters. I unlocked the door and entered it. As I shut the door behind me, I couldn't help but gasp in awe of the living room. It's basically the same size of my room back at home. You could get lost in my room (no seriously, I've gotten missing twice when I was younger even though I was practically I was in my room),I sat on one of the couch and lazily snuggled on the pillow. After about five very lazy moment (which I totally deserve),I decided to keep my boxes and bags in my room and explore the apartment. I found a room in the top floor which was open and empty and not yet designed and knew instantly that it was my room. I shrieked in joy as I imagined designing it. Well, that was until I remember that I was just staying here for one month Awwnnn. oh well I walked out of my room and started exploring the apartment. There are a thousand rooms in this house like the other houses. I've never had a roommate before and I've never lived with strangers. I wonder how this is going to end considering I don't really like people nor talk to people. But I have to do it for my people, so that people can finally see us as good people. Hehehe, so many people. I walked over to a glassdoor at the end of the house,I opened it and stepped out. There's a humongous pool and outside here has this kind of beachy feeling (I've never been to the beach before though). There's someone in the pool but I can't see her face because her back is facing me. She's saying something I can't understand so I just keep quiet. I can tell she's a mermaid because of her tail. Except her tail looks far different from other mermaids I've seen or heard of. She has this kind of tiny (extremely tiny) volcano thingies all around her tail. it's red just like her long red curly hair except her tail glitters more than her hair. Her tail is extremely long (almost half of the pool) and it has this kind of butterfly wings but longer and sharper, looks more deadly than mermaids with butterfly wings. "am Zelinda" I said in order to get her attention. Nothing happened. After a very long minute she looked at me slowly. Oh my god. it's Coral. "your my roommate?"she asked stunned . "um yeah"I replied smiling "huh"she seems more stunned than excited. "since when do they put humans with predators"she murmured to herself obviously not expecting me to hear her. "have you seen Anastasia?"she asked as she turned to look at me again. "um no,I haven't yet" I reply with a smile. "good, don't"she said instantly and started getting out of the pool. Nice way to warn someone. "why not?"I reply still smiling as she dried her tail. "are you trying to get your little human body killed and soul cursed?"she asked annoyed (yeesh,why so cranky). i shook my head. "then don't let her see you"she stated in a matter of fact tone as she walked past me. I raised my head surprised. "don't let who see who" a voice said but no one is here. I run into my room for my life (how creepy) I have to arrange my things. Oh well. I have a feeling something crazy is going to happen before the end of this month. CHAPTER 5 I woke up with a jolt. some insane is banging on my door. "what in the world"I murmured as I got down from bed exhausted. I opened my door and my jaws dropped open. A jaw dropping tall white guy with a tattooed chest of a weird symbol, curly hair, awesomely built, blue eyes with orange beautiful lips was looking down at me (am not so short). Sweet God take me away. He raised his eyebrow as he sized me (which makes me feel nervous). "Zelinda, right?" he asked softly. "um , yeah "I replied nervously (I have no clue why am so nervous). "hmm" he licked his lips slowly. OHH GOD. I wished the ground could just open right now cause his look is killing me. "have you seen Coral" he asked as he leaned on my doorframe (which makes his muscles tighten and look more attractive). Arghhhhh. "um I ..no"I reply so nervous. My face feels hot, must be the weather. He chuckle softly. Suddenly he used his hand and pulled me by the waist to him, making my b**bs pressed his bare chest. "um, what are you doing?" I asked feeling uncomfortable. "just checking out a beautiful creature" he smiled and tuck some strands of hair behind my ear. I think my cheeks just got hotter. "your not a virgin, right?" he asked as he brought his face closer to mine. "um,I am"I feel so uncomfortable. Am dying from awkwardness right now. He looked at me surprised "that can't do" he said thinking. "when you get deflowered, call me"he added. Immediately, I felt disgusted and pushed him away and slapped him hard twice. "stay away from me or you'll regret it" I warned sternly as I felt my sacs trying to break through my skin. Am trying my best to hold my anger to prevent my sacs coming out and exposing my true self and identity. He looked at me surprised that I pushed and slapped him. "did you just push and slap me"he asked with a serious tone. "yes and I'll do it again, if you ever touch me again"I replied disgusted. I might be short but am definitely not weak. Hmph. He smiled to my surprised. "woah, first time for someone to reject me"he said furthermore confusing me. All of a sudden, Coral's door opened. "Anas, what are you doing" she asked the guy (I can hear a hint of paranoidal). Finally. He (Anas) turned his head and looked at Coral with a smile. "there's my favorite mermaid" Anas said (I can practically hear the mockery in it.) "answer the question Anas"Coral replied with an eye roll. He walked to Coral and lifted up her chin , she folded her arms with an irritated look. "Anas you..." I closed my door before Coral could complete her statement. Thank goodness this house is soundproof. I climb my bed back. Much better and soft too. Finally I can continue my sleep. Now where was i? CHAPTER 6 Good morning all. I just had the best sleep of my life (well not so true but still). I just woke up hungry, so am heading to the kitchen to get something to eat. As I opened the kitchen door and a wonderful appetizing scent hit my nostrils (my hunger just grew worse, arghhh) As I step in,I see Coral cooking. Oh la la. "good morning" I greeted Coral as I watch her cook. She looked at me then smile. "good morning"she replied. "hungry?" she asked as she cut some strange vegetables. "starving"I replied and she laughed. "there's coffee if you want"she said as she pointed to the coffee Brewer. "no thanks,I don't drink coffee"I replied (coffee does really really really bad things to us Gambullites ,it can make us either really dangerous than we already are,or according to my cousin Lean, really h*r*y(I wonder what the meaning of h*r*y is though),or really just uncontrollable). Coral looked at me surprised. "your the first human am hearing that from"she said as she continues cutting those strange vegetables. I really wish they'll stop calling me human. But they won't because they don't know what I am. Oh well. "sorry about Anas.He can be a little, well...."she said trying to find the right word to describe him. "perverting"I suggest. "yeah, that's the word" she said with a grin. "well, am okay as long as he stays away" I said and turn around and immediately see him sitting down with a mug in hand looking at me with a weird smile). And yes I did scream. No seriously. I screamed so loud in surprise. I remove my shoe and threw at him. He smiled and catch it easily. "Anas" Coral said sternly. "what did I do"he replied laughing. Coral pinched her nose annoyed. "okay. enough of this, shape shift back to normal right this instant, your scaring the poor girl"Coral said and Anas laughed hard. So mean. "fine"he looks like his enjoying my discomfort. "well look away"he said to us annoyed. I looked away quickly. I wonder what this crazy guy wants to do now. "you can look now"I heard a female voice say. I turn around and saw a girl with unbelievable long silky black and white hair (no seriously it's reaching the floor), violet eyes, orange lips and beauty that can turn a straight girl into a lesbian.. "much better"Coral said and continue cooking. Wait. SHE'S ANAS?. How did I not see it since. Anas is short for Anastasia. I feel like an i***t now. So stupid. She's looking at me strangely. "you know, you're lucky your a virgin"she said as she stood up and walked away. WHAT THOSE THAT EVEN MEAN! "just ignore her, she'll come around" Coral said as she served the food. I sat down to eat but there's one tiny little problem. I've never eaten human food before. You see,we Gambullites and Ghouls only eat bloody meats(no seriously the meat must still have the blood on it and not... vegetables). I've never eaten this before. "is something wrong?"Coral asked as she watched me poke at the food Ohh God, she noticed. Can't let her find out my identity. "ohh no, am just.. thinking about home"I reply quickly. Hopefully she doesn't dictate the lie . She just looked at me then smile. I feel awful now. So apparently I do have to eat this strange looking dish whether I like it or not (just so I don't hurt her feelings). Arghhhhh. I look at Coral and smile nervously, I pick up the chopsticks and put some food in my mouth. "awesome" I say as I eat more. Truthfully, I can't taste anything actually. It's like drinking water. So...plain "thank you" Coral said with a proud smile. "what's the name"I need to know the name of this terrible dish,it might be the only thing I'll eat throughout. "savannah"she replied still eating. "what's that?" I asked confused innocently. "it's a combination of aquatic seafoods , plants and terrestrial plants and animals"she explained to me calmly. "ahh, okay. well you should cook it more often"I said innocently and she laughed. What's so funny?. I meant it. "okay,if you say so"she replied laughing softly and left the kitchen. I helped her to wash the dishes and left to my room. I took a hot long shower. I come out and dry my body and hair. I dress up. Am wearing a black turtle neck top with baggie black jean trouser which has chains on the left side,I untie my hair and combed it. My hair is waist length, so combing it takes some while (I wonder how Anastasia combs her hair when it's so long, it probably takes her hours. woah). I put on my knife boot,then put six knives in each (I always put knives in my boots, trousers, shirt and even bra),then three knives in my shirt and tucked in my top.i put two knives in my trouser then penknife in my bra. I checked the mirror making sure that my knives don't show in anywhere possible. "perfect"I whisper to myself quietly pleased and left my room. Am going outside today cause I want to explore the whole school today (although I doubt that is possible because this school is up to half of my kingdom and my kingdom is humongously big (am not sure that word exist but am sure you know what I mean). "where are you going to"Coral asked as I passed the living room heading to the door. "exploring" I reply. "can I join you?. I have nothing to do"she asked as she sat up. she and Anastasia are sitting on the living room biggest couch lazily. Anastasia is scrolling through her phone while Coral was watching the TV or rather changing channels bored. "um, sure I guess"I reply smiling. "great"she said and looked at Anastasia. Anastasia looked up at her. "what?"she asked suspicious. Coral coughed and pointed at the door. Anastasia looked at me then the door. "no way"she said plainly. Coral bite her bottom lips then did the unimaginable. she did PUPPY EYES with funny cute small sounds. Like what??? "argh, fine "Anastasia said with an annoyed eye roll. "yes "Coral said rejoicing as Anastasia stood up with her. I looked at them and that's when I realized their outfits. Ocean is wearing a red shirt which says "f**k ya" in Korean, with a red baggy trouser and rings and a fluffy red bunny slippers,her rainbow hair is packed up (she looked like an innocent child). While. Anastasia is wearing a purple crop top with black baggy trouser which has chains on the right side (lots of chains) with a black boot which has spikes on it. Her long (extremely long) white and black hair (I really don't know how someone can have half black and half white hair but apparently it's possible because ANASTASIA'S HAIR IS BOTH, it's so confusing how it's possible. Like, what are you? Cruella? )is plaited. I open the door and Coral walks out shrieking like a child then Anastasia walked past me and gave me the scariest death stare ever. WOW . I walked out and lock the door behind me. "so where to first"Coral asked jumping like an excited 3 years old they took to Disney land (although I don't know where that is, but I heard it's nice and beautiful). "well maybe the basketball court"I said thinking. Anastasia scoffed. "hell no"Coral replied. "why not?"am confused. "because Anas is never,read my lips, NEVER, going to allow us to win"Ocean groan frustrated then sighed. "true,I won't" Anastasia added laughing . first time I've heard her laugh. It's scary. "well what about the carnival outside school"I asked them. "now you're talking"Coral smiled. Anastasia was about to say something but a girl ran to us screaming Anastasia's name. Like what in the world? The girl in front of Anastasia smiling. She looks almost Anastasia except her hair is black and it's wrapped in a funny big circle (yet her hair is still rolling on the ground),I think her hair might be times four of Anastasia's hair. she's wearing a red crop top (which someone like her shouldn't obviously wear because of her humongous b**bs) with a blue jean baggie trouser and has lots of chains on her (nevermind, she looks exactly like Anastasia). She and Anastasia are speaking in a strange language which sounds weirdly familiar to me. ....... I paid attention and then it finally hit me. I KNOW THIS LANGUAGE. They are literally speaking Uranus in front of me and Coral . How rude. "Fanasrishasha melokater chtonassha?(guess what cous?)"the girl said giggling. "melokater(what)?" Anastasia asked smiling.
