Fully at peace, wrapped in warmth — just happy. Smiling in content Melody pulled the warm body closer to her, taking in the sweet scent — that glorious radiation of freshly blossomed flowers, a harmonious radiation.
Burying her drowsy face in Rose’s neck, Melody breathed in and out in content — complete peace.
She wasn’t the only on enjoying the the company or awake, slipping her arms of her own Rose pulled Melody closer, hugging the warmth.
“I like being in your arms.” Melody mumbled running her fingers through Rose’s dark hair.
“I like you.” Rose answered turning her head a bit to face the younger girl. Getting a glimpse of Melody’s messy bun, that clearly held not a lot, a smile creeped it’s way on her lips. “I like you a lot.” she mumbled caressing the younger girls cheek.
It was something about Melody that always got her stuck in a trance, caught up with her — everything about it, even the smallest.
When around her, she could easily forgot everything troubling her as though she had known her all her life — if only she met her sooner. She would have been happier a really long time ago.
“I wish I met you sooner.”
“It’s all in due time.” that’s all she said placing a kiss on the corner of her mouth, just enough to send tingles.
“Do I make you happy? You really really make me happy.” she questioned staring into her brown living eyes that still looked perfect so early in the morning.
Melody gave her a nod and a smile, “You really really make me happy too. You’re that little blossoming joy in my rainy days, my stormy nights.” she confessed not breaking eye contact with her glossy green eyes.
“My little tune of hope in the mist of the storm, you brought me calm days.” she mumbled trying to hide her own blush.
“You’re going to make me cry.”
“I lo—like you a lot Melody Tune.” she stuttered a bit unable to say the words clogged up in her throat, the words she desperately wanted to say but she feared it was too soon— way too fast.
“And I love you.” frozen Rose stared at the girl in shock. A smile creeped onto Melody’s face a bit of satisfaction with taking her off guard. “Let’s get ready babe.” pecking her lips Melody slipped out of her hold and out the sheets.

Breakfast had to be something she would always look forward to, with Rose that is. Her favourite meal of the day, or it would be any meal made by Rose as she watched.
Her hips swerving to the music playing from her phone filling the room. Not dressed in more than an overly sized tank top and shorts too short to be considered discreet, her hair tied in her favourite messy bun.
She hummed along to the song not at all wanting to defile the sweet coordinated notes of the song, her voice was not made for singing.
Melody smiled leaning against the door frame and here she thought she was a great dancer, she happened to date a wonderful dancer.
Her bare feet grazed the floor as her body sequenced with rhythm of the song. Effortlessly she moved her hips to the left then right, her arms working their magic on the dish as her body made soulful movements — a bit too enchanting.
Melody couldn’t tear her eyes away not even for a second, she was just too wonderful. Rather then watching from afar she preferred to watch closer, standing upright the girl took light steps towards her girlfriend — girlfriend, certain a word she would never get used to.
“Has anyone ever told you how amazing of a dancer you are?” the girl whispered into ear as she wrapped her arms gently around her waist, closing the gap between them.
Smiling herself Rose hummed feeling her arms and body secure around her, she wouldn’t ask for anything more. “No one but you.” she hummed feeling Melody’s warm breath against her neck.
“I didn’t say you were, you are horrible.” Melody chuckled.
“I should have known.” Rose hissed in annoyance, lightly shoving the girl away from her — far away. Turning with the pan in hand she placed it down on the island as she served their meals.
“I was joking, you are an amazing — magnificent dancer.” arms wrapped around her again and again she felt her warm breath against her neck.
“Sweet nothings will get you no where.” Rose mumbled still not impressed with her joke.
“Really?”
Humming Rose faced Melody with a stern face, “Yes—” words failed her as those familiar warm lips overtook her own, perfectly fitting together. Letting the pan settle on the island Rose fully turned her body and pressed it further on Melody as she kissed her yerning.
Her back pressed against the black marbled island she felt arms lift her up gently placing her on the vacant spot, their lips not once loosing touch. Slipping her legs around waist Rose pulled Melody closer — too close for their own good, and in place.
She bit down on her lower lip as the girl trailed kisses down her neck sucking — nibbling — her skin gently. “Maybe in my bed...” she whispered feeling herself growing short of breath. She always liked how her body and self responded to Melody, she had such and impact. “In your birth sui—” a moan escaped her lips, instantly she covered up her own mouth with her hand.
She wasn’t the only one shocked though Melody was a bit amused. She gave the older woman a smugged look, about to ask the obvious question Rose jumped off the countertop her cheeks feeling warmth. “Come on let’s eat.” she mumbled looking away from Melody covering up her blush.
“Eat exactly who?”
Her blush deepened, Melody’s words were not helping in the slightest. Rose shook her walking out of the room, out of her sight. Pressing her back against the wall she breathed in and out trying to relax — even deep out of sight she could still hear her amused laugh from the kitchen.
“I can’t believe that happened.” she mumbled feeling the atmosphere a bit too hot. Fanning herself she was still bewildered.
“Well believe it!” Melody’s voice echoed.
Staring to the direction of the kitchen her little head was popped out and smiling at her whilst wiggling her eyebrows. Burying her face in her palms she groaned her giggles filling her ears like a song.
