Chapter fourteen

1366 Words
As the two rode through the dark skied night watching each building fade away into existence starting with PurpleValley hospital, the lights fading give only the stars a chance to shine and light up the sky. She enjoyed the luxurious drive through the city of lights flashing as they drove by. Looking over to her girlfriend she smiled staring at her driving keeping her eyes focused on the road. She looked so at ease turning the wheel to the direction she was taking them, they hadn’t talked much all the way just drove in comfortable silence mesmerized by something else — now Melody was mesmerized by no other than Rose. The way she wanted her arms around her — near her. Sighing Melody turned back to the car window staring at the building pass by. Taking a glimpse of her girlfriend from the corner of her eyes, she let her left arm slip from the steering wheel to the girl’s thigh placing a light squeezed to gain her attention. Melody looked down to her thigh feeling the quick pressure and weight on it. As she caught a glimpse of Rose’s open hand and the side smirk on her face as she stared up to look at her, Melody smiled slipping her own hand into her girlfriend’s giving it a light squeeze. That was exactly what she want, attention — both of them. She hadn’t minded after that if the silence didn’t fade because her mind kept her busy circling on the sooth hand in hers. How it had been so very warm and soft — beautiful in fact, it fitted in hers just right. They fitted together just right. Like a piece of a puzzle, the last piece placing the whole masterpiece together at a refined magnificent work of art. Made for no other purpose but to fill the other. Filling the cold breeze fill the void her lover’s hand Melody tore away from her daydreaming to face Rose, rather query her with questions and a sad face. That soon changed as her smile flashed in her face the moment she stared up. The illumination of the moon and brightly coloured lights from the building they stood in front of beaming it’s notorious rays on her fair skin. “We’re here.” Rose mumbled pointing a head to the building through the windshield. Snapping her head away from the smiling goddess even though she did not want to look away — she did. Staring enticed at the purple sparking lights, lighting up one after the other like a train going around a train track the girl read out loud the word ‘Amor’ as the words flickered purple bright lights. It didn’t look like a night club at all, no single soul stood outside in a long dramatic line waiting to get in. Women dressed in tiny tight dresses barely covering them up at all almost freezing as the cool night air blew by, whispers taking course each time a woman not worth their standards would pass by or a good looking man they would certainly be f*****g in the stalls. Or the death threatening glares they would throw at anyone trying to cut and those who wore a lot better, out shining them. The enchanting sweet bribe’s they planted into the horny bouncer ears at the front with a wink, a blow of a kiss or simply display of coverage to lure a man, any man — how dangerous a woman was. It wasn’t that type of scene, she had watched enough movies to know if she was brought to one. Then it must have been a bar, a decent bar perhaps. Turning to the direction of the car door opening she watched as Rose stepped out closing the door behind. It was a sign for her to follow but she didn’t she simply unbuckled her seat belt letting it hit the car frame as it went in place. Rose chuckled as she stared at Melody through the glass window just waiting for the door to magically open. Opening it for her she gave the girl a questioning look pressing her lips together. “I said I could get used to this.” the blue haired girl mumbled stepping out the car. Glancing over to the bricked two story building with flashy lights she studied it even more searching for more clues to pinpoint where her date took her. Staring intensely at the building she caught a glimpse of a young couple exiting the building hand in hand both brightly smiling, the ringing of the bell fading out as door closed behind them. Turning to Rose Melody held a smile, “You took me to an l***q+ safe zone bar?” she questioned excited. She had never been to one, any not even a bar, she was damn well joyous. Nodding Rose took a step toward Melody closing the gap between them. “Yes but on a special night.” she spoke smiling just as much as Melody, slipping her hand in hers. “Show night!” she squealed. She might have been at the bar a few times just enough to get familiarised with the scene and a few people. Pushing past the door a warmly welcoming exterior caught both their eyes one more that the other, the applauding claps and cheers sounding as a girl stepped down the stage a violin in hand. “The usual?” a familiar voice asked. Turning Rose caught sight of that rainbow coloured haired tied in a ponytail, a bit of her tattoos showing with the rolled up sleeves. Rose smiled at the italian female bartender, nodding she turned to Melody. To fascinated with the new performaning act of dancers Rose tugged her shirt. “What will you have?” she asked once Melody acknowledged her. “What you’re having.” she mumbled taking her attention back to the pole dancers working their magic with the silver pole. Their body matching that of the background music as they danced with the pole, an art they could produce with the body without the force of gravity. “Two Apollo!” Rose informed her friend with a smile she gladly returned. Apollo was a male given name and that was sort of her nick name around here because of her handsome features — for an androgynous woman she was not complaining at all. Handing Rose two mimosa’s she turned to service the others, giving Melody one glass cup she directed her to the booths. “Come on.” she mumbled leading the way. The clicking sounds of a heel against the wooden stage silenced the whole mumbling crowd. A gentle tap with each foot yet it rang echoes each time the boots hit the wood, the netted black vest hanged loosely on their body frame so did the leather pants. A toothy grin he gave the audience as his fingers tightened around the mic. “My word such a breath taking performance. A beautiful young man with a beautiful talent, don’t you say?” the man spoke into the mic staring at the almost naked man exiting the stage with lustful eyes. Clearing his throat he turned away and stared at the crowd with a smile, “Ladies, gentle men and my non binary forks I present tonight’s show stopper my gorgeous Kueen’s!” A round of applause echoed as five beautifully dressed in colourful dresses, wigs as well as heels with spontaneous makeup walked — danced — their way to the stage. Watching Melody through out the whole scene made her smile, her reactions were golden the way her eyes glimmered seeing some things that she hadn’t seen before and she could tell the girl was having a jolly good time. Taking her attention back to the kueen’s Rose took a sip out of her glass cup, just enjoying the show with someone she enjoyed being around.
