Or is it sitting alone in a corner, silently collapsing? James began to walk. Everything around him was going on as before, but to him everything was like a distant shadow. People's voices, the sound of cars, children's laughter, everything seems to be from another world. The clouds in the sky are covering the soft light and casting random shadows. Even though there was a golden glow in the air, it couldn't warm James. Sophia's silent gaze kept coming back to his mind. Where there was lost faith, unresolved pain, and a deep emptiness. He was thinking, is Sophia sitting somewhere? Or is it really lost? In every street he looks, looks on every bench, looks like Sophia's shadow on every face. But the result is zero. At last he realized. At the moment he has nothing in his hand. Only memories, and an invisible pain. Yet he did not give up. There is only one belief in his mind. He who is lost, he can be found. And with that faith he proceeded. When Sophia could not be found after a long search, her mind became heavy. Silently he headed towards the university. Upon arriving at the university, the familiar surroundings, the teacher's voice, the chatter of students, nothing could hold his attention. Sophia's face kept appearing before him. That last look, silent, deep, strangely empty. It was making him restless. He searched everywhere in the university, but when he couldn't find her, he went straight to the library. It was five o'clock. He sat in a corner of the library, by the window, and fell silent. It was raining lightly outside. The smell of wet earth filled the air. The sound of the raindrops seemed to create a kind of peace, but that peace was not in his mind. A thick history book is open in front of him, but his eyes are not on the letters of the book. His vision is lost in the past. He remembers their small dreams. A small family, happy days, maybe one day the noise of a child... Everything is shattered in an instant. The doctor's words still ring in my ears.... Sophia will never be a mother again. James has tried to convince me many times... We can adopt another child if we want… But Sophia didn’t move her head. There was a blankness in her eyes that James couldn’t break. The rain started to fall a little harder. The drops were slowly falling down the window glass. Suddenly, a woman's scream was heard from outside. The silence in the library shook. James looked out the window in shock. The students also came running. He managed to get through the crowd and walked out. He sat down under the oak tree. He took a deep breath. He couldn't hold back the pain that had been building up for so long. Tears were rolling down his eyes. The rain was soaking his face, but it seemed to make his suffering even more obvious. He was leaning against the trunk of an oak tree, thinking about each moment of the day. Sophia was walking down the street feeling bored. There were crowds of people around her, the sound of traffic. Everything was unclear to her. She had only one feeling in her mind, emptiness. He doesn't know where to go. Every step seems to be pulling him deeper. At one point, he comes to a stop at a busy intersection. Car horns are honking all around, people are walking, but he can't seem to see anything. The question in his mind is..... Am I doing it right? Will I find a way out? But there is no answer. James and Sophia, both suffering from the same pain, but both on opposite ends. One is searching, the other is lost. James knows that Sophia's emptiness will follow him like a shadow. He goes back into his memories, the evening light, the laughter, the moments spent together... Everything seems like an unfinished story now. He realizes that perhaps nothing will ever be the same again. Still, a faint light burns deep in his heart. Until he finds Sophia, his journey will not stop. Sophia was walking down the street, feeling bored. The noise of the city seemed to be deafening her. The crowds of people, the noise of vehicles, the lights of shops were all around. Everything was blurry to him, like a scene seen through a smoky glass. His eyes were open, but his mind was far away. There was only one feeling swirling inside him. A deep, heavy emptiness. She didn't know where she was going, or why. The path seemed long, and each step seemed to drag her deeper, into a darkness beyond her reach. As she walked, Sophia came to a stop at a busy intersection. The traffic lights were changing, people were running across the street, car horns were honking one after another, yet he couldn't seem to feel anything properly. Even though his eyes were in front of him, he couldn't see anything. Everything seemed like a different reality, where he was just a silent shadow. Thousands of questions were swirling in his head. Am I doing the right thing? Where will this path of mine end? Will I ever find myself again? But no answer came to him. Only silence, and the restlessness within him.
